“My partner and I just moved down from NYC ourselves and was looking for a great first place to eat. I did a quick search on Google Maps and saw the peculiar name which piqued our interest. After reading about the history of the restaurant and a quick menu glance, I knew this was the place.The outside is painted minimally, the patio was quaint, but nothing prepared us for the vibe inside. Such a great energy as soon as you walk in, everyone socializing and having a great time. It truly feels like you’re in a chic Brooklyn eatery.We were shown to our seats at the bar when we arrived and were swiftly greeted by the wonderful Dexter. His knowledge of the menu was astounding, but his drink making skills are impeccable! He perfectly executed what was being described and we enjoyed every single sip.Last but not certainly not least, the food. I don’t believe one can accurately describe how absolutely delicious these dishes were. Dexter said 3-4 plates would suffice for two people so we splurged and got 5.Stir-fry noodles: to die forField Greens: something so simple yet so full with flavorFried Kimchi: wonderfully addictingPork Dumplings: soft, plump, juicy, & spicy in all the right waysKaraage: I can eat every single day for the rest of my lifeAll in all, our experience left us completely and utterly satisfied, but wanting more in all the best ways. “All of the food exceeded my expectations but the tom yum noodle soup was absolutely delicious! I would definitely visit again and recommend this place to anyone craving Thai food. Not only because of the food but because the owner Penny is so kind and passionate about the food she serves.”
“Easy and relaxing burger joint with 'adult' milkshakes, crafty cocktails, and some good beer. It is family friendly though it would not be my first choice. Rather tight quarters.Parking: Not a big lot, but enough space for a smallish burger joint.”

“Snafu has quickly become one of my favorite places to hang out, drink the best sours you'll find anywhere, and have fun with all the events and trucks they have visit. The staff is one of the biggest bonuses as is the brewery dog she is the sweetest. The rotation of sours is always bringing me back weekly if not more and the price for a crowler can't be beat. More pictures to come but for now I'll show off the food from the seol ahs truck they have about weekly”

“We have gotten delivery here many times but this was our first dine in experience! The food was outstanding as usual and our helpful cashier Da made our experience welcoming and memorable. “We seem to end up ordering Antonio's every weekend. ?The pizza / 2L soda combo can't be beat. For $20 it's the perfect amount for our Family of 5 . 2 adults & 3 kids.I can barely feed them a home cooked meal from the grocery for that price so it's a win win for us.Price and quality are top notch and we appreciate the simplicity of just 2 toppings. But I know if they had some more options, they would be phenomenal too ?”

“I stopped it for the first time after seeing high reviews on Google. I have very limited experience with Jamaican and Caribbean style food, but I've really enjoyed what I've had in the past and always like crepes, so I decided to try it out. I got the curried oxtail (my first time trying oxtail in general) and fried sweet plantains and was ELATED with my decision! The oxtail was so tender and incredibly seasoned, amazing flavor. From the first few bites, I started texting friends to rave about how delicious it was. (My photo was also after a few bites)The staff were also lovely and attentive. I happened to come in during a very slow period, but they struck a good balance of checking in and leaving me alone to enjoy my meal.Overall I was so happy with my meal and highly recommend it!”

They serve cocktails nice mimosas. The place seems a bit pricey though. The breakfast look top-tier. This wouldn't be my go-to spot if I was a local. It's right next to the suites so it has a touristy pricepoint. Cheesy grits were perfect though. That's a nice hush puppies too. It's well organized counter means you walk up to the counter, order , go sit and they bring it to you. It's fast thorough and the food was outstanding--a tad bit greasy but definitely tasty. I'm on vacation so I was very pleased I found this place, I'll be back for the chicken and waffles in the morning outstanding ice cream desert. Thanks Grit Counter.”
“Daddy's Girls Bakery made my wedding cake and it was absolutely breathtaking and delicious! They were able to take inspiration pictures from Pinterest and create exactly what I wanted! The dried flowers were so pretty and the flavor was amazing. We had chocolate hazelnut and almond. We got so many compliments on it! We also appreciated the amount of tasting samples at the beginning. They really provide you with great experience from start to finish and we will definitely be getting future cakes from here!”

“I love the restaurant, but my review comes from a different perspective...Dashi catered our wedding with their paella party format. We had tapas for cocktail hour and the paella, salad, and a side for dinner. Our guests were raving about how good and unique the food was! I was also very impressed with how easy the team was to work with from initial contact, contract agreement, and service and clean up on the day of. Everything went so smoothly and we loved it! Despite being counter service only, they work together so that you aren't waiting long to order! It is a great place to be, I couldn't ask for anything better!”

“Crab Du Jour was great. They have a great selection of finger foods if you're willing to get down and dirty. As well as an assortment of on plate choices if you're not feeling the mess. Marquelle was awesome and cordial; our drinks never went empty. We were approached by multiple people as well who tended to us as needed. Pricing varies for what you want to eat. It is on the higher side of the seafood market. I, however, consider it worth since not many Cajun places do it this good.”

“I am so happy I discovered this restaurant! It is an unbelievable value. The food and presentation are top notch. The service can be a little shaky as you are dealing with culinary students but A for effort! Finding it the first time can be very tricky to say the least, leave yourself plenty of time. It is located on the campus of Trident Community College. There really are no signs. Look for building 920. It has an oval glass concave entryway. They only serve on Thursdays. Menus change regularly. The cost in 2023 is $21.80 including tax. This comes with water, coffee or tea, bread and butter plus 3 courses. I always leave with leftovers for another meal. 11:30/ lunch is the only time for reservations. Bathroom is very clean. Parking is easy as it is a big parking lot.”

Sometime during COVID it was removed from their brunch menu and I have been checking religiously every month for it's return. Well, good news everyone, ITS BACK! I was so excited to see it on the menu, we went first thing on a Saturday morning and was treated to something memory couldn't do justice. I love bonefish for all their food, their fish is amazing their drinks are incredible, I love the service and the atmosphere is a step above other places for comparable prices, but at the end of the day the Bang Bang Shrimp, and subsequently the bang bang eggs Benedict, is what keeps me coming back for me. Excited to start coming here way too often again!”

“I really enjoyed our overall experience - Southern Hospitality at it's finest. The food was great, good prices and the Customer Service was outstanding and personalized. It was our first time here so the manager came to chat with us a bit and gave us some goodies, including a free appetizer for our next visit and a bag of peanuts. But the highlight of our experience was our server: Brenndon - He was superb!!! I'm wheelchair bound and he was super accommodating and attentive to my needs. Thank you ? ?”

“This hidden place is pure awesome. Everytime I visit Charleston I have to get at least one meal from here. They say "garlic," they mean it! The crab legs are so well done. The fish is fried to perfection. Piled high with their butter it's messy and you'll be happy for it. Prepare to wait a little while, but it's worth the wait as everything is made fresh.”

“According to my teenager the atmosphere was amazing. My husband agrees. Food & service was great however there was an Ebenezer working who was not feeling the Christmas spirit. She took the opportunity to bark at everyone working (I think she may have been a manager although that is debatable) She tapped her foot the entire time with her hands placed firmly on her hips aggressively chastising anyone not speedy enough or even a group of customers choosing the wrong seat. I think she was a blazing racist considering it was only the BIPOC she was raging @ & not white staff. She could definitely use some sensitivity training & a swift kick in the ego. She even picked a fight with a girl half her age & body girth. Tea pot tap dancing Tammy might want to look for work elsewhere. I think this is the waffle house from the tiktok brawls btw . They get wild.”
“I'm a WH fan anyway! It's actually my all-time favorite for breakfast. I walked here from a nearby truckstop. The service was fast, food was hot, server was attentive and kind, and the restroom was clean. I sat for more than 4 hours and even though my meal was over, they checked on me and kept my glass of water topped off. Great Job WH!”

We were seated immediately, right at the front of the restaurant by the big windows that were streaming light into the bar area. This is a fantastic date spot and venue for small groups of friends who want to enjoy some good conversation. I am sure I will be back soon!”

“Istanbul Shish Kabob knocked it out of the park today. A little bit of background I lived in Turkey for 2.5yrs, and they took me right back with a specialty item named Chicken Tava (special order, not on the menu). I had him make both chicken and shrimp. I haven't had it in 22 years! I am impressed with the tastes and customer service here. They are top-notch. If you haven't had this dish, you are missing out on one of Turkey's greatest dishes, in my opinion. My family loved everything from the Tava to the kebabs,fries, fresh hot Pita bread, garlic sauce, and falafel. We will 100% go back and eat there. Fresh food with great taste! My kids said you get 10 stars!”

I was most impressed by the “Natural Blonde” heirloom tomato bloody mary; comes with a mini-pickled okra and a big green olive & is absolutely crave-worthy delicious! We had the Mexican Hash and Huevos the second day and avo toast the first day - it all tasted so good. Ask for Tanner when you go and please, get the Natural Blonde (with Mezcal in it) to wet yer whistle!”

“I really enjoy mod pizza. The pizza is always delicious. I love the whole structure of this restaurant, because I love being able to pick my ingredients to customize my own pizza, and I love that they offer the plant based cheese and sausage. The only critique I have is regarding the placement of the regular cheese.It's right next to the tomato sauce and it's even around other vegetables and I always see the real cheese crumbs in the vegetables that are around it. This probably isn't a big deal for most people, but for people who want a 100% plant-based pizza, this is technically a cross-contamination. I know mod pizza is not a vegan restaurant, but this is just a suggestion that would maybe help them serve their customers who are more strictly plant based. I know that mod pizza cares about these customers because they have taken the time to offer 2 crucial plant-based ingredients, so kudos to them for even adding it on the menu. It would make it even better if they also took one more step to separate the regular cheese from the other vegetables and tomato sauce, to keep it from being contaminated with the cheese crumbs, in order to serve those customers who the plant based ingredients are for a bit better... just a thought. “I am so happy I discovered this restaurant! It is an unbelievable value. The food and presentation are top notch. The service can be a little shaky as you are dealing with culinary students but A for effort! Finding it the first time can be very tricky to say the least, leave yourself plenty of time. It is located on the campus of Trident Community College. There really are no signs. Look for building 920. It has an oval glass concave entryway. They only serve on Thursdays. Menus change regularly. The cost in 2023 is $21.80 including tax. This comes with water, coffee or tea, bread and butter plus 3 courses. I always leave with leftovers for another meal. 11:30/ lunch is the only time for reservations. Bathroom is very clean. Parking is easy as it is a big parking lot.”

“I stopped into Lew's on a lark after seeing it on my way to pick up some dry cleaning. It's really a bakery/baking supply store, but they have a ton of baked goods available as grab & go items. When I stopped in there was pound cake, cheesecake, cinnamon rolls, and sweet potato rolls. All of the items come in a variety of flavors, like the pound cake was available in lemon berry, vanilla, sweet potato, and egg nog flavors. I got a sweet potato roll since I had never heard of one. It was absolutely amazing! It was like a cinnamon roll bread, with sweet potato pie filling mixed in where a cinnamon roll would have the sugar and cinnamon, and a cream cheese icing. It was served warm and was sooooo good without being too sweet. My daughter loved it too. I absolutely loved it! I wish I had tried some of the other items, and I am sure that I will be back. Starting with the fried wontons (not pictured I forgot to grab a picture before I devoured them) very nice, different in taste because they’re not crab but not different in a bad way. Good portion app with about 8-10 served in it. The Pad Thai and Pad See Eu were both great dishes and very flavorful. With good portion sizes. I had the Pad Thai medium and felt as if it could’ve easily been a mild so the server was gracefully able to provide additional spice (garlic chili paste) so feel on the safe side ordering knowing the spice level will not be overbearing. For dessert I had the Raspberry Cheesecake which was amazingly light and soft, not dense at all it was a dream to finish the meal with. The mixed drink was the Creamy Lemon Cake which was very delicious and almost felt like a dessert in of itself. It had an actual lemon cake aftertaste with little to no alcohol taste during or after the drink. Our server was incredibly kind, happy to serve, and had a bubbly welcoming personality. Safe to say I will definitely be back here for more.Parking: Parking is what it is in park circle for dinner on a Saturday. We were able to park on the side street for a short under 3 minute walk to the restaurant.”

You can easily save four dollars or more on special items. There's currently some renovation happening by the bakery section and all those items such as the bread/rolls are closer to the frozen section. Gas is usually about 5-10 cents cheaper than my nearest gasoline station which is an absolute plus. The only downside of this place is that certain items will be at the club and then suddenly go away for months on end which is a bit frustrating. However, everything else is pretty great!”

“The atmosphere is the best part of the place. I had the smash burger , my wife ordered hot chicken, I should have got the chicken It was much better than my burger. They serve cocktails nice mimosas. The place seems a bit pricey though. The breakfast look top-tier. This wouldn't be my go-to spot if I was a local. It's right next to the suites so it has a touristy pricepoint. Cheesy grits were perfect though. That's a nice hush puppies too. It's well organized counter means you walk up to the counter, order , go sit and they bring it to you. It's fast thorough and the food was outstanding--a tad bit greasy but definitely tasty. I'm on vacation so I was very pleased I found this place, I'll be back for the chicken and waffles in the morning outstanding ice cream desert. Thanks Grit Counter.”
“We have gotten delivery here many times but this was our first dine in experience! The food was outstanding as usual and our helpful cashier Da made our experience welcoming and memorable. “Lanaye the manager there was awesome! Waited in line for the second time this week over 30 mins each time. Person taking orders at the window seemed to not be taking orders the first time, so I had to pull around and place my order at the window the first time.Same wait with no response at the window happened again tonight. Person taking the order wasn’t really helpful, but Lanaye came with professionalism to the rescue. I even left a decent tip after thanks to his patience and understanding.”

Must-haves on the smothered turkey wings add fried pork chops all the sides were done and flavorful my favorites were the mac and cheese potato salad collard greens yams for dessert get the banana pudding or bread pudding and don't forget to wash it down with that homemade peach Kool-Aid. This place will take you back to Big Mamas the food was delicious.”

“We love mofongo but can't find it at home so we were excited to find a place that served it. We also tried empanadillas, over chicken and one "meat". All the food was good. The chicken empanadilla could use more seasoning but when paired with the dip that came with it, it was pretty good. The star was the pork that comes with the mofongo. It was delicious and had so much flavor.”
