“The food is pretty good. Definitely a takeout kind of place. The downside is they use sweet and sour sauce for everything. Like the sesame chicken taste like chicken rolled in sweet and sour sauce then sprinkled with sesame seeds. That's one of my favorite dishes, so it's disappointing that it doesn't taste like sesame chicken. The fried rice, lo mein, beef/chicken broccoli, crab rangoons are some of my favorites from here.“

“No I'm not saying their food is like WOW IT'S AMAZING. No I'm not saying all their menus are good. Then why do I give them 4 stars? 1. Cheap. Their lunch combo is $9, with tax it's barely $10 which it's so much cheaper than other places. 2. A huge portion: You receive a brick. Seriously. They PACK the food like how we pack our food at the Chinese buffet with a flat rate lol I don't know how they close it but they do! I eat a lot but I could eat 3 meals from one plate. 3. Some menus are guaranteed good. General Tso's chicken, Lo meins and Vegetable fried rice, Crab Rangoon is great. They use spaghetti noodles instead of Lo mein noodles, but they make it work. To me Chicken with Broccoli was meh. The sauce was light like Lobster sauce. Pancit is a little bit bland. It's not a place that you need to come check out if you live far, but if you are broke, want good food and live pretty close from here, order Lomein + Fried rice now lol“

“Again I bought Beef & Snow Peas & tried the Hunan Beef. I have never a bad dish in over 5 years! The beef is always plentiful, tender, cooked to perfection & seasoned perfectly.I order from here about ONCE A MONTH -sometimes twice a month. This is my 2nd order in less than 2 weeks. I just could not get the snow pea beef out of my mind so ordered more.I always have the order picked up & it’s always hot & ready when my driver arrives.I’ve not eaten at any other Oriental places in close to 4 years. They just can’t compare & 1 lunch meal makes 2 full meals for us. Can’t beat a $4.25 full meal! Try them!Vegetarian options: My daughter is the vegetarian in our family & she’s never found an item she didn’t think was great! I’m stuck on their snow peas myself! Always order Beef & Snow Peas. Perfectly cooked & so tender I could make a meal of them. Have had really bad snow peas iin other places but never here!Parking: Located in the Food Lion center with Little Caesars & Nigel’s in the same plaza. Handicapped spaces are plenty as are the regular spaces. No shortage of parking ever!Wheelchair accessibility: I’m in an electric wheelchair & occasionally have taken my granddaughter here for lunch. She loves to eat here & can’t wait to go back. My wheelchair is HUGE weighing over 450 pounds just for the chair alone. I’ve never had one bit of trouble moving around in here.“

“I may be a little biased because I’m a huge Chinese fan, but being from New York, I know good Chinese food when I taste it. Peking Gourmet does not disappoint. The sweet and sour chicken/pork are favorites for me and my son. We also typically add a side of fried dumplings. Chinese food is always a great go to for a quick and satisfying lunch or dinner. The seating is typical of a restaurant that rarely has customers dining in, but takeout is where it’s at! We’ll certainly we back for more.“

“Every time I order my food is here within 10 to 20 minutes and piping hot. I can let it sit on my table for 15 minutes and it’s still hot and ready to go. If you’re looking for quick food to put you down for the night there are the ones to call.“

“My partner and I just moved down from NYC ourselves and was looking for a great first place to eat. I did a quick search on Google Maps and saw the peculiar name which piqued our interest. After reading about the history of the restaurant and a quick menu glance, I knew this was the place. The outside is painted minimally, the patio was quaint, but nothing prepared us for the vibe inside. Such a great energy as soon as you walk in, everyone socializing and having a great time. It truly feels like you’re in a chic Brooklyn eatery. We were shown to our seats at the bar when we arrived and were swiftly greeted by the wonderful Dexter. His knowledge of the menu was astounding, but his drink making skills are impeccable! He perfectly executed what was being described and we enjoyed every single sip.Last but not certainly not least, the food. I don’t believe one can accurately describe how absolutely delicious these dishes were. Dexter said 3-4 plates would suffice for two people so we splurged and got 5.Stir-fry noodles: to die forField Greens: something so simple yet so full with flavorFried Kimchi: wonderfully addictingPork Dumplings: soft, plump, juicy, & spicy in all the right waysKaraage: I can eat every single day for the rest of my lifeAll in all, our experience left us completely and utterly satisfied, but wanting more in all the best ways. I knew I had to express my thoughts because as Biggie said “Spread Love, It’s the Brooklyn Way!”“
