“I love the restaurant, but my review comes from a different perspective...Dashi catered our wedding with their paella party format. We had tapas for cocktail hour and the paella, salad, and a side for dinner. Our guests were raving about how good and unique the food was! I was also very impressed with how easy the team was to work with from initial contact, contract agreement, and service and clean up on the day of. Everything went so smoothly and we loved it! “Very easily some of the best and flavorful Hispanic food I've ever had. And I LOVE Mexican food. Rice and beans, seasoned to perfection. Steak quesadillas seasoned to perfection. “If you call yourself a fan of mexican and haven't been here, you better fix that. This place is a 5 star experience if I've ever seen one! My mom and I went to lunch here towards the end of their lunch hours, and everything about this place was a 10/10. Food quality stands out for sure, really unique tasty mexican food, tier above a lot of places in charleston that I also love. Service was amazing and very insightful, space inside was pretty cool as well. Pricing is really good for how high quality it is as well. Lunch is just tacos, burritos, simple quisine. Dinner is coursed, and they have insanely cool events that I will definitely be returning for.“

“Whenever I am in town,I make sure that I eat lunch here. The food is pretty good. The staff is nice. Parking in the private lot can get crowded, especially around noon, during the weekdays.Kid-friendliness: There is a kids' menu. Smaller portion sizes.“

“Mannnnn listen! I went here with friends for drinks and food for the first time on friday 1/5. I ordered a margarita and a steak chimichanga. When i tell you it was perfect… thats an understatement. The cheese and steak was seasoned so great. I ended up having a date night with my husband the next day on 1/6. Hes a foodie so again…. AMAZING. 1/7….. i ordered again. Amazing again! I highly recommend this place. The staff was amazing and understanding as well. You can definitely tell they are very family oriented. Tonight on 1/8 we plan to have dinner AGAIN here!“

“I stopped by for a quick work lunch after searching on Yelp. Plenty of street parking. Short line inside, looked like a blue collar kinda place. Walk up to the counter and there's a steam table full of meat and beans. I ordered the Carne Asada Special burrito. It was full of meat, beans, rice, and guac. Very friendly counter service. Prices are decent and your order is made quickly. They dumped a scoop of chips in my bag... a little grease on the paper bag never hurt anyone! Salsa is nice and spicy. Went back to work and ate it up. Good flavor but coulda used some pico inside to round it out. I'll be back to try something else next time.“

“I see some of the bad reviews and it would seem that they were heard and changes were made. We ordered food and sat down to wait for our food. It was brought to our table about 10 minutes later and was absolutely fantastic. There were two hot sauces on the table for use to adjust the level of spice you want. The owner was super friendly, and we paid after we were done. Have been back two times already.“

“There are both inside and outside seating areas which we like. The food was delicious. I had shrimp and sweet potato fries both of which were done perfectly. My husband had étouffée what she said was slightly above average, but not great. He was also disappointed that the portion size was misrepresented and smaller than he expected. Inexpensive parking was very hard to find.“

“Giving Azul Mexicano 4 stars because it is consistent and reliable. Service is awesome. Nothing special about the food but you always get what you order. Margs are delicious and huge. Outdoor seating is great! Right in Park Circle. Ambiance is casual and family friendly.“

Gave the atmosphere 4 stars ONLY because, if you sit outside, you are right beside the main road (Rivers Ave and Ashley Phosphate connection light), and traffic is not quiet in that location. Otherwise, the visit overall would be 5 stars across the board.“
