“Ok, this was IT! The moment I walked in, I felt like I had picked a good one! The pickled okra is phenomenal! Next we got the chicken and waffles with the gumbo. I will definitely stop back on my way home. I was OVERWHELMED!”

“The new spring menu is amazing!! The chocolate turtle cold brew is extremely delicious. I went this morning for breakfast and the only bummer was they do not have anything gluten free other than fruit. Fingers crossed one day they expand their gluten free selection.”

“I was first introduced in 2019 and fell in love. The Chicago style is my favorite. It's a lot of pizza and definitely to much for one person. The box is physically heavy. I love it!!!!!”
“Went there today looking for My first taste of Tres Leches that I heard so much about. I found it and so much more. I went there for a slice of cake…and…well I left with 4 amazing tacos, some of the greatest Flan I’ve ever tasted and of course my slice of cake ? x 2. ?”

“I ordered chicken and broccoli through a delivery service and I was really surprised at how great it was! I apologize for not having a picture, I rarely take food pics. The sauce was amazing, slightly sweet and a little salty, with a hint of ginger. The broccoli wasn’t cooked to mush, it had a nice crisp texture. This is how take out should be done. I am going to be a repeat customer for sure!”

“Typical Subway. The prices have increased since the last time I was there, but everything has, so . The menu has changed too. One thing I really do not like is, when you order a specifically named sandwich from their menu they ask you what you want on it. And then they have to look at the menu to make it. When I went this time, he still didn't put the correct items on it. The kids really liked the WARM footlong cookie! The restaurant was mostly clean. Crumbs on several tables from where people recently left. All the staff were friendly.Vegetarian options: You can get whatever you want on a sandwich.Parking: Large lot shared with other businesses.”

“Super friendly and fast service. The sweet and sour chicken, chicken lo mein, and crab rangoons were so so good, probably my favorite in the Charleston area! Very flavorful, huge portions, and fresh. The crab rangoons had a slightly different flavor and filling than I’m used to but I didn’t mind it at all. I didn’t care for the egg roll but would try it again to see if it was just a bad batch.”

“Their slogan of “Taking care of brisket” couldn’t be any more spot on! Lewis BBQ was our favorite spot when we visited Charleston, and quite frankly one of the best restaurants I’ve ever eaten at… ever! I could argue Lewis BBQ deserves Michelin star consideration. Everything is executed perfectly, from the food to the vibe and atmosphere and ambiance of what a BBQ joint should be. The brisket, words alone just can’t describe how amazing it is! Good mix of fat and lean, succulent, and great flavor. Don’t sleep on the turkey either! It was very moist and tender, good seasoning from the rub and great flavor. The collared greens were spectacular, packed with great flavor! We loved the coleslaw as well and the corn pudding. There really wasn’t any one thing we didn’t like. The atmosphere and ambiance are great, a BBQ experience like no other! Definitely worth taking a detour and going out of your way to check out this place!”

“I dined at Delaney oyster tonight, and had an incredible experience. Our server was Charlie (easy to remember, we have the same name) and he gave us an experience we could never forget. 10/10 I will be back and I will be asking for Charlie!”

“This review is LONG overdue. My sister & I visited Charleston July 2023. The night we flew in from Seattle we had Chasing Sage for dinner - what a delight! From the atmosphere to the food to the incredible staff and chef, it was an amazing experience. My sister and I still randomly bring up our experience at Chasing Sage, and how delicious the food was. Honestly, we'll probably be back to SC and this place is a decent part of the reason why. Cannot express enough how much we enjoyed this place! *edit to add that at the time there was some sort of a seasonal drink on the menu that included peas and my sister thought it was to die for!”

“Best omakase in Charleston and probably South Carolina. On par with places I’ve been in Seattle and NYC. You won’t be disappointed. One of the better sake selections I’ve ever seen and Chris knows his stuff. If you like high quality omakase you need to snag a reservation here.”

“Thought I would be out of luck here attending a group outing as a vegan with severe lactose intolerance, but our group's organizer let Hall's know beforehand and our server spoke with me about my needs before taking drink orders. She offered me 2 options after speaking with the chef, and I got the salmon salad minus the salmon & cheese. It was one of the better salads I've ever had! I can't tell you how appreciative I was to have a filling, flavorful salad even after having to remove some items, when usually I'm just left with lettuce & tomato. Very appreciative of our server as well who was kind, friendly & attentive throughout. My only suggestion would be to consider adding another item or 2 that can be made vegan other than salads, not just for vegans but for people with common food allergies & intolerances to things like dairy, eggs, fish, & shellfish.”

“This placed lived up to the hype! Food was fantastic! Our server was very accommodating & provided a dairy free option for my wife that was not on the menu. Great vibe to the restaurant which was buzzing with all the diners eating there. Can’t recommend this place enough!!! Go there you won’t be disappointed!”

“Shiki looks unassuming on the outside, but the food is amazing and the interior is adorable! Since it is such a small space, you need a reservation to guarantee a spot. I was able to make same day reservations though! We got lucky, someone canceled! Even though this is a sushi spot, they had vegetarian options, and they had non-sushi options like the pork katsu. Their veggie sushi roll was SO good. I love when places get creative with veggie rolls and put a variety of veggies in. I also tried the roll that had lemon and jalapeño. I'm not the biggest fan of crab, but this roll was amazing. The lemon adds the perfect amount of zest! Plus, it's fun to try rolls I've never seen before. Even though we were absolutely stuffed, I needed to order the fried ice cream. It was SO GOOD. The fry batter is super light and crispy, and the red bean ice cream was amazing. If you're in Charleston, you should definitely try to get a reservation here!”

“A beautiful little restaurant that has it all. The service was fantastic and the ambiance perfect. The sourdough was fenominal. Flounder was amazing but many bites were over salted. Same issue with the rabit pasta being good but much too salty. The dessert - flourless cake was perfect! So glad we ordered it!Really only issue was the saltiness. I would definitely return though, its a lovely spot”

“Fantastic food and service. We had the hush puppies, clam wraps, char grilled oysters, dark fried chicken. Also a couple beers and frozen gin tonics capped with a chocolate shake. All were fantastic. Only negative was the chicken was a little too bland for my liking. Oysters were incredible! Our server, Dorey was friendly and very helpful. Exactly the type of server I truly appreciate!”

“Been following Chef Nikko since his Mansueta's pop up days and very proud of him and all he has accomplished thus far! Kultura definitely did not disappoint! The Sisig Carbonara and Bistek were very good and the Ube latte was the icing on the cake! We will definitely be back for another dinner visit but also looking forward to trying their brunch. Kultura is small but very intimate with the kitchen staff and Chef Nikko himself up close and personal working their magic. Highly recommend!”

“As a pizza enthusiast, I will give this place a major stamp of approval! My margarita pizza was sooo delicious. Authentic brick oven Neapolitan style, but had an extra crisped bottom so the slices could be picked up. Almost like New York meets ”

“I would argue that Malgón has the best bread service in Charleston. We stopped in for appetizers and wine. Our server was great and the patio was suuuuper cute. Blankets were provided on the patio as well, which was the perfect touch on this chilly evening. I’ve dinned here a few times and this is easily one of my favorite spots in Charleston.”

“I don't think we could've found a better coffee shop in Charleston! This was a local recommendation for us, and I am so happy that we got to stop in here. The baristas were super friendly and the atmosphere was perfect. I ordered an iced chai, we both got the quiche, and I also got a peach pop tart on my way out. We decided to sit outside since the weather was beautiful. They had the cutest outdoor seating which really tied the whole experience together. There is also indoor seating but we couldn't pass up sitting outside on such a nice day. The iced chai was delicious and the quiche was cheesy and yummy too! Parking was a bit of a scavenger hunt but it's totally worth it!”

“Great coffee shop off the beaten path in Charleston. My family and I ordered lattes, and we were all very happy with them. I got the seasonal cinnamon honeybun latte, and the flavor was on point. The prices were fair also. Definitely recommend this coffee shop!”
