Very fatty and chewy meat. Served with the absolutely cheapest plastic ware. Almost impossible to eat when combining the meat and plastic ware quality. WAY OVERPRICED!!

I got the short ribs, chicken katsu, and dragon musubi. All fantastic, esp the short ribs. It's a bit pricey but they give you a ton of food. I was able to make two meals out of it.

Overall, it was ok. I ordered the BBQ Chicken bowl and musubi combo mix. The BBQ Chicken was the best part, while the steamed vegetables seemed to be frozen from Costco. It would've been great if the musubi was served with a sauce.

First time trying this spot out, and i really like it! i had the bbq short ribs w/ rice and cabbage. and i also ordered some spam musubi. the only reason im giving it 4 stars is because i kinda agree with some of the other reviews about how pricey it is considering the portions are a bit small. and the other reason im giving it 4 stars is because i felt like they could pay attention to the orders more, i did order 4 spam musubi and only received 3. they even wrote “3 spam musubi” on the container. but i didn’t realize it until i had already gotten home. but anyways, for the price i paid i could have *at least* gotten everything that i paid for, and for the portions to be a little bigger but other than that, the flavor is there, really good food. nice customer service.
I ordered at the very last min after calling about 20 mins before closing, they advised me they do not take phone orders but if I came in they would make my order and it wasn’t a problem. I arrived maybe 10 mins before they closed and my food was cooked to order and delicious.

I was in the navy in my twenties and my last duty station was Oahu Hawaii at Pearl harbor, and when it comes to Hawaii I don't miss the weather the beaches or the mountains I miss the HAWAIIAN BBQ. I'm so glad there is an L&L in Charleston I had the kalua pork and spam musibi it was excellent and I WILL be back.

We eat here pretty much weekly and enjoy it, obviously. My first dish was the Loco Moco which I did not like. The gravy was very plain. I’ve never had it before so I don’t know what it’s supposed to taste like but I have enjoyed everything else we’ve ordered especially the Chicken Katsu and the BBQ Chicken. It does take a while to get your food which is why we always order ahead of time using the app but the food is fresh.
