His knowledge of the menu was astounding, but his drink making skills are impeccable! He perfectly executed what was being described and we enjoyed every single sip.Last but not certainly not least, the food. It's right next to the suites so it has a touristy pricepoint. Cheesy grits were perfect though. That's a nice hush puppies too. It's well organized counter means you walk up to the counter, order , go sit and they bring it to you. It's fast thorough and the food was outstanding--a tad bit greasy but definitely tasty. “Daddy's Girls Bakery made my wedding cake and it was absolutely breathtaking and delicious! They were able to take inspiration pictures from Pinterest and create exactly what I wanted! The dried flowers were so pretty and the flavor was amazing. We had chocolate hazelnut and almond. We got so many compliments on it! We also appreciated the amount of tasting samples at the beginning. They really provide you with great experience from start to finish and we will definitely be getting future cakes from here!”

“It was my first time visiting here and everything we had was delicious. We had chicken 65, butter chicken, won ton tacos and garlic naan. The inside of the restaurant is renovated much nicer than you might assume. The prices are extremely fair and the service was great. Everyone that helped us was great but we had a conversation with one of the servers named Roy and he was awesome. Super friendly and kind and makes it obvious he loves what he’s doing. “We have been excited to try this restaurant. The service was very good and it was not too crowded like everything else in North Charleston. My wife had a wrap and enjoyed it. I got the burger with an egg on it. It could have been good but the egg was already broken leaving the bottom bun soggy ?‍?. And then I ordered medium well and it came out medium rare. I actually did not even eat but half due to this. We are not ones to complain but I do give very unbiased reviews. I think this place has a lot of potential and I am chalking up my burger as a mistake. Maybe try them out.”

The service can be a little shaky as you are dealing with culinary students but A for effort! Finding it the first time can be very tricky to say the least, leave yourself plenty of time. It is located on the campus of Trident Community College. There really are no signs. Look for building 920. It has an oval glass concave entryway. They only serve on Thursdays. Menus change regularly. The cost in 2023 is $21.80 including tax. This comes with water, coffee or tea, bread and butter plus 3 courses. I always leave with leftovers for another meal. 11:30/ lunch is the only time for reservations. Bathroom is very clean. Parking is easy as it is a big parking lot.”

“According to my teenager the atmosphere was amazing. My husband agrees. Food & service was great however there was an Ebenezer working who was not feeling the Christmas spirit. She took the opportunity to bark at everyone working (I think she may have been a manager although that is debatable) She tapped her foot the entire time with her hands placed firmly on her hips aggressively chastising anyone not speedy enough or even a group of customers choosing the wrong seat. I think she was a blazing racist considering it was only the BIPOC she was raging @ & not white staff. She could definitely use some sensitivity training & a swift kick in the ego. She even picked a fight with a girl half her age & body girth. Tea pot tap dancing Tammy might want to look for work elsewhere. I think this is the waffle house from the tiktok brawls btw . They get wild.”

“I'm a WH fan anyway! It's actually my all-time favorite for breakfast. I walked here from a nearby truckstop. The service was fast, food was hot, server was attentive and kind, and the restroom was clean. I sat for more than 4 hours and even though my meal was over, they checked on me and kept my glass of water topped off. Great Job WH!”

A little bit of background I lived in Turkey for 2.5yrs, and they took me right back with a specialty item named Chicken Tava (special order, not on the menu). I had him make both chicken and shrimp. I haven't had it in 22 years! I am impressed with the tastes and customer service here. They are top-notch. If you haven't had this dish, you are missing out on one of Turkey's greatest dishes, in my opinion. My family loved everything from the Tava to the kebabs,fries, fresh hot Pita bread, garlic sauce, and falafel. We will 100% go back and eat there. Fresh food with great taste! My kids said you get 10 stars!”

We were seated immediately, right at the front of the restaurant by the big windows that were streaming light into the bar area. “I really enjoy mod pizza. The pizza is always delicious. I love the whole structure of this restaurant, because I love being able to pick my ingredients to customize my own pizza, and I love that they offer the plant based cheese and sausage. The only critique I have is regarding the placement of the regular cheese.It's right next to the tomato sauce and it's even around other vegetables and I always see the real cheese crumbs in the vegetables that are around it. This probably isn't a big deal for most people, but for people who want a 100% plant-based pizza, this is technically a cross-contamination. I know mod pizza is not a vegan restaurant, but this is just a suggestion that would maybe help them serve their customers who are more strictly plant based. I know that mod pizza cares about these customers because they have taken the time to offer 2 crucial plant-based ingredients, so kudos to them for even adding it on the menu. It would make it even better if they also took one more step to separate the regular cheese from the other vegetables and tomato sauce, to keep it from being contaminated with the cheese crumbs, in order to serve those customers who the plant based ingredients are for a bit better... just a thought. All in all, because I'm not a strict vegan, I am vegetarian, and don't really mind the cheese too much but sometimes I do notice it because I would prefer not to have any real cheese in my food. I still really enjoy the food at mod pizza, and I look forward to my next visit.”

Marquelle was awesome and cordial; our drinks never went empty. We were approached by multiple people as well who tended to us as needed. Pricing varies for what you want to eat. It is on the higher side of the seafood market. I, however, consider it worth since not many Cajun places do it this good.”

Served with the pita chips it can be a meal in itself. Pickle chips were exactly what you think a fried pickle chip is. Beers were good and worth the 3.79 overall brewery rating on Untapped. Good draft variety, offerings of wine and cider as well for those who don't like/can't have beer. Was quiet the day we were there, but certainly can see it getting busy and loud. Today I had to wait a little longer than expected and the entire staff could not have been more accommodating. From the host, to the bartender, to the food runners and even owner- every individual I encountered was warm and friendly. “Everything about this place is what a bakery should be. Entering, the smell of freshly baked pasties and bread hits you. Workers are busy in the back to prepare more fresh baked goods. The atmosphere is inviting and relaxed and along the wall are locally sourced products, such as honey. “If you call yourself a fan of mexican and haven't been here, you better fix that. This place is a 5 star experience if I've ever seen one! My mom and I went to lunch here towards the end of their lunch hours, and everything about this place was a 10/10. Food quality stands out for sure, really unique tasty mexican food, tier above a lot of places in charleston that I also love. Service was amazing and very insightful, space inside was pretty cool as well. Pricing is really good for how high quality it is as well. Lunch is just tacos, burritos, simple quisine. It is on the higher side of the seafood market. I, however, consider it worth since not many Cajun places do it this good.”

They serve cocktails nice mimosas. The place seems a bit pricey though. The breakfast look top-tier. This wouldn't be my go-to spot if I was a local. It's right next to the suites so it has a touristy pricepoint. Cheesy grits were perfect though. That's a nice hush puppies too. It's well organized counter means you walk up to the counter, order , go sit and they bring it to you. It's fast thorough and the food was outstanding--a tad bit greasy but definitely tasty. I'm on vacation so I was very pleased I found this place, I'll be back for the chicken and waffles in the morning outstanding ice cream desert. Thanks Grit Counter.”

The chicken empanadilla could use more seasoning but when paired with the dip that came with it, it was pretty good. The star was the pork that comes with the mofongo. It was delicious and had so much flavor.”
