Ive only been to Charleston twice, but after the 1st time I couldn't stop thinking about this sammich. Just had it again and once more: 10/10. Friends eating other menu items here were less enthusiastic, but everyone loved this po boy. Fries were good too.“

“I really wanted a better option for fast food. I ordered 2 gyro platters and a large Greek salad. Delicious and plenty of food leftover the next day for both my husband and me. All that food for under $40 in this day and age! Will definitely be back. I didn't go inside, I ordered in the drive-thru. They're open until 2 am. From what I could see, the inside was very clean.“

Although we didn’t have a reservation, the staff went above and beyond to accommodate our large party and quickly arranged a lovely table for our group. When we asked for recommendations, our waiter suggested a family-style three-course meal, and we couldn’t be happier with his suggestion! Each course was beautifully presented, and simply delicious. From appetizers to desserts, every dish was crafted with care and creativity. It was a wonderful way to experience the menu and share in the joy of great food together. “My friend and I hadn’t seen each other in a very long time. I suggested having dinner at Taverna since Philosophia and Taverna are my favorite restaurants in Mount Pleasant.. My friend was so excited because she hadn’t been there before and I told her,”you will not be disappointed.” Justin, one of the owners, greeted me at the door with a big welcome back as I had been away for three months in New Jersey. I introduced him to my friend Brantlee, and she told him she was very excited to try the food since she loved the food at Philosophia. We started with an appetizer of Kataifi Shrimp, which Justin suggested for Brantlee and I ordered half a dozen delicious oysters. She loved the shrimp and couldn’t wait for the entrée. Brantlee ordered the Tagliatelle which was absolutely scrumptious and I ordered the seared scallops, which are always the best. I was so happy to see my friend enjoy the incredible food and attention that the staff and Justin always provides. We finished the night off with a delicious dessert that Justin sent to the table as a courtesy. How much better can it get? Once again, I can’t say enough good things about Justin and Dimitri, both owners work so hard to delight their customers. Thank you, Justin for a wonderful evening for my friend and I. ❤️“

“Love Ali Baba. This is the only place I have ever found in my travels who does a true chicken gyro. All of their food is amazing! My husband and I eat here often. The staff are friendly and service natured.“

“I came in last Tuesday and had such a lovely experience. Kelly went above and beyond as a server and was such a beautiful soul. She recommended the rotisserie chicken which of course did not disappoint and was so attentive. The tzatziki was mouth watering and the Mac and cheese felt like heaven. I don’t have enough kind words in my vocabulary to say how wonderful the service was, specifically kelly. I wasn’t going to get dessert but kelly hyped it up so much that I could not resist getting it. She needs to be given a raise or something cause my dining experience was 1000000/10. “Stopped in for a healthy lunch. Had a blueberry lavender drink and spicy lamb and avocado bowl. Very tasty and was ready fast. You can pre-order online and do pickup. Plenty of places to eat with indoor and outdoor seats. There are some extra seats in the side and rear. Lots of parking spaces available. Great place to stop if shopping in the town center. Would highly recommend. Very affordable option for the area. I really enjoyed it and would visit again.“

“This clean, made from scratch food is made in house and was tasty. The portions were great. They also use clean ingredients. It says the company explicitly states that it's seasoning contains no junk no preservatives fillers or mystery chemicals. Thats a WIN for me. Love that! Most of the menu is gluten-free except for the pita. Of course you need to ask them yourself. They have a lots of fresh made stuff to choose from. They also avoid using seed oils. Their pitas are made from four simple ingredients flour water salt yeast. Better then 100 different ingredients. The team today for lunch were friendly and was nice and helpful with smiles. It was a nice and clean place & comfortable. Most of my info came from Google and research. I could not find out if the meat was GMO or not. We tried the pita with gyro meat with fresh toppings. The meat was ok. You can ask them to try something before you decide. The feta french fries were good. We look forward to trying round 2 and trying something new. Oh, we also noticed on the way out that they have non carb drinks and they looked heavenly and delicious.
