“I recently moved here about a week ago and stopped into this location as it was near work. I automatically felt overwhelmed with the amount of guest that were already in line ahead of me. Knowing that I had limited time I asked the woman that took my order to recommend something that was quick but also good. She suggested an in house favorite and advised that it would be out in no time. 20 mins later and two more refills of what was some really good sweet tea; I'm still waiting on my order. Now I will admit it was busy but I think I was caught up on the fact that I had expressed I didn't have a lot of time, I was new there, and that my order would be quick. That's when I met Taylor! I had no idea at the time she was the GM and only found out this morning. She came over to check on me and notice right away that while I was calm; I was getting antsy. She took it upon herself to call out my order to the back and get me an update and apologized for the wait. Moments later, not only did she give my food to to me herself, but comped the meal as well. This took me by surprise because you just don't find people who actually care anymore. This small act of kindness is what made me return to the restaurant this morning for a quick breakfast. Kudos to you Taylor for making my experience worth it and showing amazing leadership and kindness to your guest.“

“great little store! LOTS of everything. the barbacoa and carnitas are so good, and their tacos are soooo good. definitely a hidden gem. their bolillos though.. can be hard as a rock sometimes. the atmosphere though is ALWAYS great! everyone is kind and the music is great!“

“I am a SoCal person and had a chance to talk to a chef and WOW! Chef is some Northern MX/SoCal and made just the absolutely best Carne Asada burrito I have had in over 2 decades on the east coast. Good people, even better food. You want a taco…go hit up agave or something like that. You want a true burrito…hit this place.“

“The main guy at the counter was full of life. He was happy, positive, friendly and extremely personable. My daughters were there and they too enjoyed the atmosphere and positive fun vibe in this restaurant. . One daughter was wedding dress shopping and he engaged into wedding stories. He also gave the bride to be a free cookie along with free delicious lemon blueberry cake for the table. The sandwiches were amazing and the price was just right. We are looking forward to visiting The Buck again!“

“I love coming here. Everybody is always so friendly whether I do pick up or sit in and eat. The owner Nick always comes over and asked how everything was and made sure everything was made right.
The STP dipper is to die for, (you gotta get it extra toasted), and I've never had a bad experience yet!

The place is always kept clean, tables are always wiped down, service is always fast, and as mentioned above, you can tell that the owner truly cares about the success and well being of the business and his employees which is extended into the service you get. Highly reccomend!“
