Thailicious 2 Authentic is a cozy small restaurant with excellent customer service, friendly greeters and servers, and an owner who personally waits the tables. The food is described as amazing, authentic, and fresh, with generous portions and high-quality ingredients. Popular menu items include spring rolls, green curry, Tom kah gai soup, Tom yum soup, Thai Basil Fried Rice, Pad Thai, Duck basil fried rice, and Crispy Fried Garlic. The spring rolls have crunchy lettuce and carrots that were likely cut and served the same day. The green curry is rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced with a nice kick. The Tom yum soup is tangy, sweet sour and spicy. The Thai Basil Fried Rice is pleasant and well balanced. The Pad Thai is great. The Tom Yum Goong Thai Hot had a more sweet rather than sour tang. The Thai Pho Noodle Soup is good with a spicy level of 6/10 even at Thai Hot. The portions are generous, and the amount of rice, curry and noodles are more than enough. The prices are a little high, around 16-23 dollars per dish, and one meal came to about 33 dollars for one person. The bench seating in the corner is somewhat uncomfortable, and the table had a slight stickiness. The restaurant is easily accessible from Dorchester Ave with modest parking. Takeout packaging is outstanding.
