Despite my reassurance that there was no rush on my end, he generously provided pastries to enjoy while patiently waiting for my dish to be ready. The Junction Kitchen exemplifies what true hospitality means, setting a standard that many others could learn from. As for the meal itself, it surpassed expectations. “Buffalo Chicken dip and chips were excellent and the Cajun fries were a fave but the sandwiches were not (and that's probably just personal preference so give it a try.) Bartender was friendly and made every effort to ensure quick service and that all needs were met.“

“After trying to have brunch at The Great Harvest and terible service and tech issues caused us to cancel our order snd find somewhere else ASAP to eat before I went feral, we droce a couple of blocks and had a beer brunch here instead. I don't remember her name, but our swrver was very personable and patient with us as we were recovering from our near meltdown. She gave us samples. Another person working there kept coming by to heck on us as well. Food was good, staff was great - we were unfamiliar with this chain, but will now keep an eye out for it because of our server.

It is a sports bar, with lots of games playing - we weren't watching any of them, but it wasn't too loud. They have a screened patio too. Thry have a bunch of events, like trivia, karaoke, and live music - fun spot!“

“The restaurant was very clean. The staff was very friendly, courteous and very professional. My husband had the Cobb sandwich which was huge with plenty of meat. It came with french fries that were nice and crispy. I had the wings which were very good and the other people in our party had a flatbread which they stated was wonderful. Thank you“

“What a wonderful stay we had at the North Charleston Marriott!! Jessica at the front desk is absolutely incredible!! She was very sweet, professional and accommodating to all the guests…a true gem! Housekeeping also did a great job and we love that they even offer housekeeping since some hotels don’t in these post-Covid days. This hotel is in a great location, just off I-26, close to the outlet stores and restaurants, but far enough away from all the traffic in that area. Our room was a King Junior Suite and it was very spacious, with one and a half bathrooms, and a comfortable couch. Not a lot of drawer storage for clothes (2 small drawers in the desk & 1 under the safe), but there was plenty of room to hang clothes to the left of the closet, so it all worked out. You can also hang some things in the small armoire/closet, but the items hang front to back, so it’s a little difficult to access things. The safe was plenty roomy and the bath and bed linens were nice. The bed is softer than our bed at home, but we both slept pretty well. We loved the walk-in shower and the water pressure and temperature were truly great! The bathrooms had built-in night lights behind the mirrors and the bed had this really cool ambient lighting above/behind the headboard that could be turned on or off. Lots of extra seating in this room with several chairs and the L shaped couch. The tv selection was just “ok”, in part because several of the channels, such as HGTV, did not come in. The wifi worked well at times, but no so well at other times. The AC worked well and there were plenty of places to charge your electronic devices. We ate dinner at the restaurant and Kelly & Becca were our severs on different nights. The food at the restaurant, HC Provisions, was excellent!! We had the wings, the chicken and waffles, the Caesar salad and the housemaid chips and they were all excellent! This hotel seems to be a popular venue for events. There was one going on Saturday night and we noticed several business functions going on during our stay as well. Crystal and Sheila were in the M Club Lounge at breakfast time and they were both great and did a great job of keeping everything well stocked. The breakfast offered scrambled eggs, bacon or sausage, potatoes, yogurt, cereal, muffins and pastries, hot oatmeal and biscuits and gravy till 10am. During the rest of the day, you could pop in for coffee, water, sodas and juices as well as snacks such as chips and cookies. The evening offered hors d’oeuvres but the one night (Monday) we arrived at 7:20pm, everything was already being cleaned up, so I guess we missed it. The outdoor area offered a pool and two fire pit areas which would be great to sit and catch up with friends and family if you were here with a small group. We had such a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend this hotel and we would stay here again.“

“Visiting Charleston from Virginia and this was the first restaurant we went to! It was a great way to start our visit to Charleston. Hole in the wall place with a great location and a laid back atmosphere. People were extremely welcoming! Our server William was top notch. He took great care of us, making sure we had everything we needed and more. He even took the time to recommend places in the area to visit since he is a local. Food was delicious!“

“I would give them 5 stars except for the fact that I really want Frank's or Texas Pete's for my hot sauce. They had Tabasco, not the same flavor profile.
I mainly order breakfast, but have taken lunch there. Only once in more than 100+ visits did I not appreciate the cooking skills of the short order cook.“

“We absolutely LOVE this place. We have always eaten at the bar in the tavern area and have no interest in sitting elsewhere. We discovered Lowland a while ago and it is now our most favorite food spot in Charleston. The drinks are outstanding, the service is excellent and the food is divine. The food is fresh, the flavors are unique and the recipes highlight authentic lowland food. This latest visit we tried the celery salad, the burger a the biscuit with a red pepper jelly and potted cheese. The celery salad was simple yet AMAZING. Simple blanched celery with chopped mint and some incredible white cheddar cheese from Wisconsin. I eat burgers almost everywhere I go but this one is truly THE BEST. The meat was perfectly seasoned, perfectly cooked and the perfect size!!! Wish I remembered our bartenders name but he was GREAT on a Sunday night. Cannot wait to go back next month and bring our son who will visit from London!!“

“I would definitely recommend S.N.O.B. for the quality of their food only. My friends and I were there on March 24, 2025, during an unexpected cold snap. We're from Florida and the weather was cold, windy and brutal. The four of us were seated at a table that was almost smack dab in front of the entrance door. Thus, people were constantly coming in and out. The manager should have had enough forethought to not place a table there, let alone sit people there in low fifty degree weather and high winds. We just wanted to get our food and get out.“

“I found out about Southbound, through my job. I had to go do some work there, and found the owner and everyone there, super friendly. Most people at restaurants ignore working people while they are there. As my 42nd anniversary was quickly approaching, I decided to give this place a try. Some of my past picks, have not been the best. Southbound cleared EVERY hurdle I have about restaurants. From the moment we approached the restaurant, great service began! While coming thru the gate, the hostess yelled out, "HEY LARRY" and then said, "This must be your beautiful wife"! Like CHEERS, it felt great to go somewhere, "Where everybody knows your name" We were seated and got to view the open fire oven. I had dropped off 42 roses the week before for them to put on our table, for my wife. Tropical storm Debbie, and downtown flooding prevented us from going exactly on our anniversary. I was worried that store bought roses, would not last thru the weeklong delay, Joel assured me everything would be taken care of, and not to worry. As we were seated, there on the table, sat 42 roses. Fresh, and arranged with baby breath flowers included. I was told the young lady with the hostess had arranged them. They were gorgeous! They also had an anniversary card on the table from them, not something I had dropped off. The service was tremendous, the food indescribably outstanding! I have only had steak Tar Tar once before in my life, and was greatly afraid to try it again, as the first time was awful. It was superb! They take great pride in the presentation of their food products. I felt like I was in an episode of Master Chef. We had the steak, as well as the Sea bass, okra, corn, sweet potatoes, and the Caramel cake. Everything absolutely wonderful! This was a truly wonderful and memorable dining experience!! I would give 100 stars, and a Siskel and Ebert two thumbs up! There was only one thing I was disappointed about. No sweet tea! Were In Charleston SC, no sweet tea. Everything else totally made up for it though. The staff even had everyone present sign a menu, wishing us a happy anniversry1 I will most definatly go there again for a special occasion. Thanks to Andrew, Joel, and the entire staff, for making this night special!!“

I have had a blueberry, lemon, cranberry/orange and nutella/raspberry muffin..I can say without hesitation these are by far the best muffins I have ever had. But the highlight? Karla surprised us with a complimentary dessert to celebrate our anniversary, and it was genuinely one of the sweetest, most thoughtful gestures we’ve had while dining out.
