“I had a great time here. As a single female I enjoy bars like this. I’d also like to shout out the bartender tonight 08/25/25 for not only being a great bartender but completely being observant and standing up for me. It goes along way as a single female. “When we first sat down, we were greeted by the manager who apologized that they were short staffed because someone had just quit and he promptly started taking care of us and brought us drinks. The patio quickly filled up but our service was never affected. When I tell you both Thomas and William went above and beyond to take care of our table I was really impressed. Everyone’s food came out hot and we had everything we needed and we even made a mistake with our bill and they were super helpful with adjusting it. You would have never known they were short staffed and that the manager was busting his butt helping serve tables and that there was just two of them out there working. Everyone around us was happy and being taken care of and we were extremely satisfied with our service. They even brought a water bowl to my dog which I really appreciated. We will definitely be back soon :)“

“My Bride and I visit here at least once a week. She eats wings and I get my weekly fish or shrimp. The food is great and consistent. I alternate between the fried chips and onion rings. Service is always top notch. In three years only one miscue, and it was fixed immediately! It’s great to have a local place that you can depend on! 👍🏻“

“LT the bar tender was very friendly and outgoing. The loaded baked potato soup was great and the service was excellent. Open Mic night by Josh Rowe was cool with different performers. Highly recommend going for the food, atmosphere and friendly people!“

“I came here for a quiet drink and somehow ended up in a full emotional tug-of-war between Jelly Roll and Metallica. One minute I’m grounding myself singing “Holy Water” under my breath like a soft little ghost, and the next minute the jukebox is trying to start a medieval battle behind me.
My bourbon is smooth, my soul is confused, and the vibes are chaotic in a strangely comforting way.
10/10 would recommend for anyone who wants to heal, spiral, and headbang all in the same hour.“

“I have a long, productive day where I celebrating accepting a new job with CPI Security and hanging out with Dad today who lives adlund the corner on Society. Both my parents came here back in the 60's. It was phenomenal and very enjoyable! They staff killer - very friendly. Also, I'm a former craft cocktail bartender with a fairly refined palette and that Manhattan was fire! 🔥✌🏼“
“We only stayed here 1 day but we really enjoyed ourselves. The Staff is excellent and very friendly and honest. We checked out in a hurry and I left my wallet in the room. It was returned to me via express mail after they called me to let me know . I didn't even realize at that point it was missing. Edwin was a great help. Everyone there was super nice. The courtyard is an awesome hang out spot, great drinks.👍👍😁“

“Been coming here since I could legally drink! Lots of regulars and locals come to this place. It’s a fun dive bar atmosphere that has amazing food. Their lunch blue plate specials are fantastic. Wings and burgers are great as well. They have a large beer selection but have a full bar as well.“

“O’Brion’s has the best fish’n’chips I’ve ever tasted, as well as a killer bacon cheeseburger and French onion soup. If I had one criticism is that whenever I go they seem out of Guinness. But Jameson’s whiskey is a suitable alternative.“

“Stopped in at Dog and Duck in Charleston and had the fish and chips—absolutely fantastic! The fish was perfectly crispy on the outside and flaky inside, and the fries were golden and seasoned just right. Great pub-style atmosphere with friendly service and a relaxed vibe. Definitely a spot I’ll be visiting again next time I’m in town!“
