“Excellent meal and staff!”

“My wife and I had our micro wedding gathering at Grace and Grit in June 2024. There isn't enough we can say to express how much we love the people, food, and place at Grace and Grit. If you're planning an event, this is no doubt the place you want to be. Eli, Paul, and the rest of the team are nothing short of spectacular. My wife and I brought our closest friends and family down to Charleston/Mt. Pleasant, from Pennsylvania. The one worry we had was "what are we going to serve these PA Dutch area folks?" The answer we came up with was Grace and Grit, as we've had wonderful experiences there in past trips we've taken. The resounding review from our guests, were noting short of heartwarming and gratifying. To finish out, this is just what one guest said in regards to our wedding celebration. "I've been to many weddings, and this by far is the best food I've ever had at any wedding celebration." Thank you Grace and Grit for being a part of what is sure to be the most spectacular life I could have ever lived. Much love to you.”

It is one of the best Charleston SC restaurants located I. Mt. Pleasant- the best of both worlds! Their seafood and everything else is fabulous! You will want to come back again and again- it is well worth any wait as they don’t take reservations… their southern charm is marvelous! …and plan to sit in their giant Adirondack chair outside! 5+++ stars”

“We were here on a quiet Sunday night. We made reservations but none were really needed. The service was great and the atmosphere was comfortable. The brussels were good but the honey was a bit overpowering. Maybe less drizzle is better. The short ribs and the shrimp tacos were really good. My husband loved the sidewinder fries. Overall our experience was a four out of five. We will eat here again.”

Wheelchair accessibility: I didn't go into the bathrooms. The doors aren't automatic (not the fault of the restaurant, of course!) but there is a lot of space to navigate in a wheelchair and plenty of tables that are appropriate height.”

“Stacks is a little place with a big surprise. It has a upscale homey vibe and consistently good food. There are options for everyone including my grandson Bair. The fish is always fresh and expertly prepared and the burger and fries are excellent. The tempting specials of the night always makes the choice even harder. We love this place!”

“Our first visit to Burtons Grill & Bar will not be our last. My wife and I had lunch there before heading out of Mt Pleasant. This restaurant was attractive, the service was great, and the food was exceptional. We enjoyed the Chicken Risotto and General Tso Bowl, which were excellent. Burtons is highly recommended.”

“We had a fabulous dinner last night. The service was outstanding and the staff were very attentive. We sat in the private room, which was wonderful. It even has its own bathroom!!!! The food was delicious. We ordered several appetizers before the entrees and all of them were wonderful. Everyone loved their entrees, even the kids!! They loved the rigatoni. Personally it’s been a challenge to find exceptional Italian in this area since moving from the North and this hit all the spots! Our favs were the focaccia, limone and Cesar salad, calamari, pollo al mattone, rigatoni, and the veal tenderloin. Next time we will make sure to eat outside. It’s really pretty and private. They have a grassy area where the kids can play and a fire pit. I highly recommend Abbraccis!

Kid-friendliness: They have a kids menu, although our kids chose to eat from the main menu. There is an outdoor patio, we saw kids playing in the grassy area.”

“My favorite place in Mt Pleasant!! The best hidden gem that I wish I could keep secret but I want everyone to know how fantastic it is. The food and drinks are amazing plus it comes with the most wonderful and kind owners in Sena and Ogi. This place will become your home away from home!”

“We had an amazing Anniversary dinner at Savi last night. They went above and beyond in every way to make us feel special. Everything from the atmosphere, to the friendliness of the staff, to a handwritten note on our table, a knowledgeable server, delicious dinner, a wide variety of items to choose from for dinner, drinks and dessert…. Everything was awesome. We are so glad we came there and would recommend it to everyone else!”

“I came in last Tuesday and had such a lovely experience. Kelly went above and beyond as a server and was such a beautiful soul. She recommended the rotisserie chicken which of course did not disappoint and was so attentive. The tzatziki was mouth watering and the Mac and cheese felt like heaven. I don’t have enough kind words in my vocabulary to say how wonderful the service was, specifically kelly. I wasn’t going to get dessert but kelly hyped it up so much that I could not resist getting it. She needs to be given a raise or something cause my dining experience was 1000000/10. I will be coming back all the time for the food but also for the service!”

“Without exception, The Employees are very friendly, helpful, knowledgeable. It is evident that they were are well trained.I enjoy the selection of quality products with some of them specialty local products for my consumption or for gifts(ie confectionery products) as well as a good assortment of sugar free items.There are very few, if any, cafes that are open past 9 pm that serve a really good quality cup of coffee…open 24hrs with a complete menu of available options (ie. Regular/Dark Roast/ Cappuccino/ Espresso/Cold Brew and a generous variety of cold fountain drinks). This is aside from the grocery products)Lastly, my experience is the produce is always fresh and of good quality.Great concept & incredibly convenient.”

I have a strong preference for beer on tap but recently tried Ghost Monkey's Belgian Wit which is a can pour only and it was love at first taste. “I'd say I'm pretty much a regular at the Summerville location. Unfortunately the last two times I headed in right around 8:45pm I was denied service. I was told that they stop serving at 8:45pm as they close at 9pm. Mind you the entry was open allowing customers to come in. Does anyone know if this is a company policy/ standard to say the stores opens until 9pm but take no more orders past 8:45p? I totally understand their workers aren't happy with their jobs and want to get out just as quickly but please help me to understand.”

“My husband got the mint chocolate chip frappe and LOVED it! And he’s picky! I got the iced dirty chai tea latte with cold foam and I’ve had many before, and it was not great. Tasted like cinnamon watered down milk and didn’t get cold foam at all so wasn’t too thrilled given the price I paid for it.”

“After a long day at work, it’s so easy to place an online order, grab at the drive through and cruise home. Food is delicious and very reasonably priced. Love me some Groucho’s!!

The staff greeted people that walked in and were just so friendly. Alex even came out on the floor and asked us if we wanted some waters… amazing! Above and beyond! There’s a sign that says the store purpose is “to be your favorite neighbor” and this staff NAILS it!! Thank you!”

“Ordered a Grande Salted Caramel Cream Cold Brew. The line wasn’t long, the wait wasn’t long, and was not expensive compared to other Starbucks I’ve been to. The drink came out with 3/4 foam on the top which was only 1/4 cold brew. Pretty lopsided for my taste and not what I would expect with the typical quality control of Starbucks drinks.”

I normally don't do reviews but two people stood out to me, Rob and Elena. They both were there every single day we went in. Elena was holding down the food and Rob managing the Pub. I didn't get to know the other staff's names but these two I can't say enough about. They are the reason we came back. I know one thing, they both deserve a day off! “Do not sit upstairs!! It is boiling hot, too hot to eat Italian food. It was extremely disappointing because we called weeks ahead to reserve a table for 11 people to celebrate my daughter’s 16th birthday while on vacation. We were told there was a more private area upstairs, which sounded good! When we got there, it was 84 degrees upstairs with a very poor fan and what might have been a portable ac unit which didn’t help at all. We were not told in advance that there was no air conditioning upstairs or we definitely would NOT have chosen this restaurant. We were dressed up and sweating buckets, not at all enjoyable! Most of the food was pretty good. Just miserable experience that we were trying to make enjoyable to salvage our daughter’s birthday dinner.”
