We live in Virginia and planning this event from two states away was daunting, but Eli made planning flawless and easy, answering every nervous mother of the bride question promptly with so much interest and attention to detail. We had some food allergies that were handled with ease. The food was delicious, the private dining area was perfect, the patio cozy. The service was impeccable. This was such a memorable experience from planning to the bride and groom's send off. Perfect in every way!”

“I was visiting my daughter in Charleston and we had dinner, the drink menu had great choices and I particularly enjoyed the Gold Rush, the crab stuffed cannoli appetizer was the perfect starter before the outstanding ribeyes we both had! The real star of the show here is the Assistant Manager Jacqueline, she was very accommodating and her smile and pleasant demeanor made you feel right at home. I will be back every visit to Charleston in the future, well done👏🏻”

“My friend and I hadn’t seen each other in a very long time. I suggested having dinner at Taverna since Philosophia and Taverna are my favorite restaurants in Mount Pleasant.. My friend was so excited because she hadn’t been there before and I told her,”you will not be disappointed.” Justin, one of the owners, greeted me at the door with a big welcome back as I had been away for three months in New Jersey. I introduced him to my friend Brantlee, and she told him she was very excited to try the food since she loved the food at Philosophia. We started with an appetizer of Kataifi Shrimp, which Justin suggested for Brantlee and I ordered half a dozen delicious oysters. She loved the shrimp and couldn’t wait for the entrée. Brantlee ordered the Tagliatelle which was absolutely scrumptious and I ordered the seared scallops, which are always the best. I was so happy to see my friend enjoy the incredible food and attention that the staff and Justin always provides. We finished the night off with a delicious dessert that Justin sent to the table as a courtesy. How much better can it get? Once again, I can’t say enough good things about Justin and Dimitri, both owners work so hard to delight their customers. Thank you, Justin for a wonderful evening for my friend and I. ❤️”

“Amazing food. Probably the best old fashioned I’ve had. Our server was awesome and so was the manager. My steak was over cooked and they insisted they get me a new one. The one they brought back out was probably the best steak I’ve had in Charleston. We will be back!”

The fries were the crispiest crinkle cut fries I’ve ever had. (I normally don’t like crinkle cut fries as they are never crisp enough for me. ) I give them a five star rating ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“I use to love this place,but they have fallen off big time. I ordered a spicy chicken sandwich, it was bland, they didn't bother with jalapeños that were supposed to be on it. My son asked for bacon on his burger, it wasn't there. Also the table next to me had a dog that was constantly under my table and begging others for food. Big let down”

So soooo good. I still dream about it. Alec (who I think was maybe the owner?? manager??) was SO kind. I just so happened to be there on my 30th birthday - which was also Bodega’s 2nd birthday. Alec brought over champagne, juices, and homemade treats (on the house!!) for us to celebrate. Seriously, so generous - we couldn’t stop talking about how nice it was. I can’t recommend this place enough - I wish I could give it 100 stars.”

Anyone who doesn't give them 5 stars is probably just miserable. Thank you for carrying my lunch breaks while I was at Wando. I love you guys my second family. It was very busy in the cafe and we waited in line about 10 minutes. Not terrible for how busy it was. We went and sat down outside and I was super excited for the playground so my son could run around and explore. The food arrived less than 15 minutes later. The restroom was clean and stocked well. It included a change table as well which is a huge plus for parents. The food was delicious. Fair price for reasonable portions. The coffee was also really good and I’m picky about coffee. I would highly recommend and plan to go back to check out the owners other restaurants and stores.”

I have a great concern for the safety of your employees. They all look to be very young and should not be left alone to close your store, especially at night. But these people are pros and just kept it moving. Fun outside rock music - the guy in Saturday night of Memorial weekend was fantastic!”
