“We had a fantastic dinner and experience at Mi Xao. Not only was the food delicious, but the service was outstanding too! We can't wait to come back again. It's definitely one of our favorite places to eat in Charleston!" ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“
“Lunch was hours and hours ago, I wanted something easy and takeaway. Bon Banh Mi appeared in my Yelp search results and so we headed here. I placed a take away order at the counter and it didn't take long before my sandwich was ready.Yes, I chose the Banh Mi sandwich with "five spice ground pork" and it was delicious. Still hot by the time I parked, it was full of meat and veggies and lots of flavor.Next time, dine in. This was yummy!Vegetarian options: Lots of options with red curry tofuParking: Nice parking lot though it could be better lit.“
“The food is a unique fusion. The owner, originally from Vietnam, evolved from a food truck to his own place blending art with culinary experimentation. My husband, a long-time fan since his college days, was impressed with the transformation. The menu is short but each dish is a masterpiece. I am not too much into Asian food but KFC fried chicken was rich and exceptional. The staff is very chill.Recommendation to management team: getting a table was a challenge due to the restaurant's size and a large party reservation. We ended up seated next to the bar, which was not so comfortable. Additionally, there's no parking nearby.Overall, the food is outstanding (6/5 if possible), but the dining experience could be improved.“
“You order at the counter which I guess is fine for a pho place. However our food did not come out at the same time. 3 bowls of pho should be simple. The bowl with just meat and noodles took longer oddly enough. The broth was very good. A little fatty but flavor was excellent. My only problem was the size. For a 16.95 bowl of pho I expect to be full when I'm done. There was not enough of anything in the bowl for my liking.“
“I found myself with lots of luggage and a short wait for an Uber in front of Bon Banh Mi on Spring St. - perfect time for a quick bowl of cold noodles with pork dumplings. I eat often at the shop on Ben Sawyer, so it was an easy decision. The food was quick, well prepared, served with great consideration and southern manners, and I didn't have to leave my little bright colored patio table on the Spring St sidewalk for one thing. A lovely little lunch in the sunshine of DT Charleston! Props to you! One more Bon Banh Mi to love in the area!!“
“We have been getting Banh Mi's takeout from the Spring street location for years and it is always great. Traveling through Mt. P and found this location. Great open atmosphere and bar. The bartender/ manager(?) was super accomodating, knowledgeable and once we understood this location was affiliated with the downtown location we knew whar we were going to get.... Beef curry bahn mi and the sticky wings delivered. Service was great and look forwad to returning when we are on that side of town.“
