I go out to breakfast 7 days a week x 365 days a year .. have had my morning meal in several South Carolina establishments..you get the picture. Sunrise Bistro recently hired a a baker, Maddy. I have had a blueberry, lemon, cranberry/orange and nutella/raspberry muffin..I can say without hesitation these are by far the best muffins I have ever had. Maddy is even going to indulge me with a bran muffin. THANK YOU SUNRISE BISTRO .. THANK YOU MADDY!!“

“I use to love this place,but they have fallen off big time. I ordered a spicy chicken sandwich, it was bland, they didn't bother with jalapeños that were supposed to be on it. My son asked for bacon on his burger, it wasn't there. Also the table next to me had a dog that was constantly under my table and begging others for food. Big let down“

“I have been to numerous Italian restaurants in my life. Out of every Italian restaurant this one is the absolute best, everything was so outstanding. Everything was made from scratch it had tons of flavor. Great service great atmosphere. I cannot highly recommend this place enough, today was my first day going there and I will be a regular there multiple times a month because it was that good. I can no longer hold other Italian restaurants that I’ve been to at such a high standard because this place was so outstanding and delicious.“

Everyone was friendly and the decor was chic yet comfortable. Anthony was so friendly, helpful and attentive, he made us feel like family. As a first timer there, he helped us navigate the menu to our personal palates and his recommendations were on point! Don’t miss the Lotus Flower and Eel with Shrimp Tempura rolls. Equally delicious, the Twice Cooked Chicken and Pad Thai came out well prepared and presented. I don’t usually order dessert, but we couldn’t resist the fried cheesecake with green tea ice cream. “We have been visiting the southern for over a decade, and it remains one of the last few great Mt P dives with an excellent kitchen. The staff has always been amazing and attentive, even when things get a little wild late night. The fresh squeezed grapefruit and orange drinks are some of the cheapest in town, and they make one of the best cheesesteaks in the area. Highly recommend a visit if you like unpretentious spots with that local vibe. It looks like the business is being targeted by trolls who have never visited, but we can clearly say you should trust the locals. I have never been uncomfortable in there, but don’t walk in expecting a Hall’s experience. It’s a bar first, just with good food options.“
