“This was my first visit to southern US, and I had always wanted to try a po' boy sandwich. Oh my!! The shrimp po' boy at Coleman Public House was the best sandwich I have ever had in my life. I think I would fly back to Charleston just to have another one. The bun is slightly toasted for just a tiny bit of crunch. The portion of shrimp is generous, and so crispy and golden. And the crowning part is the delicious spicy sauce that is simply amazing. Try it - you will not be disappointed!!“
“My family was in town for vacation and wanted to find somewhere for breakfast other than the usual chains. We stumbled upon Sunrise Bistro and couldn't have had a better experience. I don't remember the last time I've encountered such genuinely kind and friendly people in the service industry. On top of the exceptional service, the food was amazing! My son loved his chicken and waffles! My other son had a chorizo breakfast burrito and inhaled every bite! My husbandoved the self serve coffee bar. We will definitely be back the next time we're in town. Don't miss this place!“
“Delicious food & drinks! Love the ambiance of The Post House. My girl friend & I walked in and wound up sitting immediately at the bar. It was cozy & fun. I had a Cosmo & tuna tartar, she had a spritzer & shrimp skewers. The bartenders were cool & we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!“
“Excellent local food where locals meet for business and chatting. Very fresh and local produces. I had crab cake for lunch on a bed with chorizo and vegetables on aioli spicy sauce. Also fried local oysters where delicious and Arnold Palmer unsweetened team super “
“To start service was excellent very friendly professional. And speedy. Appetizers were delicious. Our entrees were exceptionally delicious. Crab crusted haddock and shrimp and lobster pasta. Crème brûlée dessert was one of the best we’ve had in a while. And my cocktail was great!“
“My original review is from Feb. 2023.Hands down this is my fav restaurantThis was my favorite restaurant in Mt Pleasant and the surrounding area. The service was impeccable and the food was absolutely amazing! If you like pork I suggest:THICK CUT PORK CHOP w/ RUSTIC PAN SAUCEAbsolutely the best!!!“
“I showed up at 7 minutes before closing time with a special needs adult and a toddler. Server Kelly looked at us as we poked our heads in, looked at the clock, and said "sure, come on in." She proceeded to serve us like we were VIP's and the best thing to happen to her all day. What's more, the food is awesome. Really good. Huge menu for a breakfast place. I'm a fan.“
“We were seated right away on a Monday night. The restaurant was about 3/4 full and appeared to be doing a brisk take-away. Donna was our server and was friendly and attentive. Our food arrived quickly and were quite good size portions! My salmon was cooked perfectly and the Thai chili sauce was a great compliment to it. My husband's roast beef sandwich was stuffed full and he even liked the horseradish mayo they used. This place is definitely going on the list of where to eat in Mount Pleasant.Dietary restrictions: They offer gluten free and vegetarian options.“
“This restaurant was so cute and the food was delicious! The staff were so kind and friendly. The kids keep asking to go back which is rare for everyone to agree on the same place! We highly recommend the creamy polenta, it was so good we ordered a second round!Kid-friendliness: Great kids options, friendly staff“
“We were seated as soon as we arrived. The music in this place was great! 70s mellow disco. Haha. We tried the famous Mac and cheese. It was yummy but maybe didn't live up the hype. Reports were the cheese flavor was too mild. Bread and butter was delicious. Food was very good but slow to come. Server was nice. More attentive when we sat down, less as we waited and waited for food. We didn't see her again until it was time for the check. Reports across the table was that everyone liked what they ordered. Overall, good experience, would go back again. I personally enjoyed the crispy Brussels, and the salmon served with a Mediterranean salad. Yum.“
“Very nice restaurant by the water with great views on the creek with a sight of dolphins. Seafood platter was very good, pimiento cheese was too creamy I prefer them a little more tough but still ok and then had the swordfish which was really really good with a chickpea pepper base really appreciated that! Definitely will be back it’s a great place“
“Get the Hans special coffee don't know how he makes it he won't tell but it's chocolatyVegetarian options: Get the tomato and fresh mozzarella with pesto on foccacciaDietary restrictions: Locally sourced as much as possibleKid-friendliness: They employ half of WandoWheelchair accessibility: Nice ramp“
“We had the best drinks ever made by the bartender Gage! He was so sweet & made such delicious drinks. We had the lavender sunset, blackberry smash, and a Kentucky mule. He even made up a delicious mocktail for my 10 year old niece. We’ll definitely come back! ?“
“The food is amazing. Fresh squeezed juices make for extraordinary cocktails. The service is so refreshing- thank you sincerely Hank for making every visit one we enjoy immensely. For all visiting- and I hesitate just a little to admit this- this is where locals go. If you like dive bar meets great music, food, drinks, and service- this is your place.“
“I love Art's - it may easily be one of the best burgers in South Carolina (just a plain cheeseburger, yes!), and the rest of the food should be tested very soon. Art's apparently serves mean chicken wings (happy hour on Wednesdays!). Service is great, atmosphere classic ...“
“WOW!!! WHAT A FABULOUS EXPERIENCE!!I haven’t been able to get to LANGDON’s RESTAURANT in quite some time!! I will say they haven’t missed a beat!Unfortunately, so many great places in Charleston & Mt Pleasant have failed to deliver TRUE customer service. The food and atmosphere at LANGDON’s were exactly as I remember. Most importantly, the customer service was an ABSOLUTE “10!”From the moment we approached the hostess stand, onward to the sweet girl that poured our water glasses, and to the main event and server!!! MEG was so great!! I can’t rave enough about MEG!! She was on point, so warm, sweet, and pleasing!!!We enjoyed y’all!!!!!“
“I cannot say enough about this place. The food, drink, and service was so good.I had the double smash burger and the hubs had gourmet burger. Flavorful, cooked perfectly, and my salad was pretty good too. I had drinks, a Honey Polama and a Lavender Marini. They were NOT watered down. This place does not disappoint. The Cherry Pie tart with ice cream was to die for! Also, our server was so good. She wasn’t intrusive and didn’t get super bubbly or fake and I love that. She wasn’t bothered when we decided dessert and wanted to see the menus again.“
“The oysters were Local and Canadian, very tasty. Menu is limited and posted on Instagram. We ordered the Halibut and pasta dish, both freshly made. They were delicious!!!Service was excellent. This is a quaint restaurant with a nice bar and sound system. Outstanding selection of wines as well. The staff brought out a scrumptious pastry for dessert as it was our Wedding Anniversary. If you're looking for something special, this is the place to visit!!!I would recommend making a reservation so you are not disappointed“
“A great breakfast spot if you are in the mood to indulge! Our waitress Angela M. was excellent and friendly, she offered us complimentary beignets for our first visit that were absolutely delicious! This location has a nice locals feel to it and appeared to be very neat and clean. A wide variety of traditional breakfasts and sweet treats are offered as well as mimosas and crafted cold brew coffees! I chose a salted caramel cold brew paired with the apple fritter french toast!“
“I love this restaurant. Wonderfully inviting atmosphere to enjoy a great relaxing food experience. First, let's start with the fresh baked bread. Not sliced, but a whole loaf to enjoy.Cocktails, of course. Then on to the mouth watering steaks.Juicy, cooked to perfection with side dishes, so very good.We go to Longhorn Steakhouse at least two times per month. Always outstanding!“
“Parts of our meal were really outstanding (the poached pear salad). Other parts were just okay (crab cake, brussel sprouts). Meats (filet & pork chop) were cooked perfectly. House sangria not as flavorful as I'd hoped. Overall we enjoyed ourselves & would return to try different things.“
“Always have a good time at Mainland. On the most recent visit, it was pretty crowded and they may have been understaffed so service was a little slow. But service staff was very friendly and helpful.I ordered the grouper bites which were ok. Not a fan of the breading/batter they used but the fish was good and great sauce to accommodate. They usually have some live music on the weekends and the outdoor space is where it’s all at! Usually they have decent amount of seating unless it’s an oyster roast day.The best part is the dogs love it.“
“As a pizza lover, I had the pleasure of dining at Migliori's in Mount Pleasant, and I must say it was an extraordinary experience that exceeded all expectations. From the moment I stepped inside, I was greeted with warm smiles and a cozy ambience that made me feel right at home.Let's start with the star of the show – the pizza! Migliori's creates sheer pizza perfection. The crust was impeccably crispy on the outside, while maintaining a soft and chewy interior. Each bite was a delightfully harmonious combination of flavors. The sauce was tangy and robust, and the cheese was perfectly gooey and melted just right. The toppings were generous and fresh, adding an extra burst of richness with each bite. No matter what combination you choose, you will always be amazed by their pizza offerings.Apart from their exceptional pizza, Migliori's also offers an extensive menu of Italian delights. Their pasta dishes were cooked to perfection, with homemade sauces that transported me straight to Italy. The garlic knots were irresistibly fluffy and flavorful, and their salads were crisp and refreshing. In addition to the outstanding food, the staff at Migliori's played a crucial role in making my experience unforgettable. The servers were incredibly attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. They were more than happy to provide recommendations and ensure that I had everything I needed for a perfect dining experience.Furthermore, the ambiance at Migliori's is cozy and inviting. The restaurant's rustic décor and warm lighting create a comfortable and enjoyable atmosphere, making it an ideal spot for any occasion. Whether you're looking for a casual dinner with friends or a romantic date night, Migliori's delivers on all fronts.Lastly, the attention to detail at Migliori's is commendable. Every dish is presented beautifully, showcasing their commitment to providing not only a delicious meal but also a visually pleasing experience. The restaurant's cleanliness and adherence to health guidelines left me feeling confident and safe during my visit. In conclusion, Migliori's is a hidden gem in Mount Pleasant, offering an exceptional dining experience that will satisfy even the most discerning pizza connoisseur. The combination of their delectable food, warm and attentive service, inviting ambiance, and dedication to detail makes it an absolute must-visit for anyone craving a remarkable pizza experience. Don't miss out on this culinary jewel – Migliori's deserves all the praise it receives and more!“
“We are visiting Charleston and went in search of a nice, reasonable, well served seafood place. We found Wando River Grill and it is AMAZING in everyway!! Our server, Maggie, was so patient, helpful and attentive--we loved her!! The white chocolate bread pudding is out of this world--you have to try it! We will be back!!!“
“This place is cool but really is geared towards the younger crowd. It was really busy on that Friday night but the drinks and the food was real good. As we were eating dinner it was nice watching the sun go down but then it got rather chilly real quick. We had one issue with the burger our 21yr had ordered but other than that everything was good.“
“Overall: A delicious yet expensive lunch. The good: The sandwiches were absolutely delicious. The focaccia bread might as well have been from Italy. The sandwich was Thanksgiving-themed, with cranberry, turkey, stuffing, dressing, and more. It definitely hit the spot and I felt full afterwards. It's nice to be able to sit outside with the tables and enjoy the neighborhood. The not-so-good: Expensive. The sandwiches were great, but charging for as much as they did is a bit much. The prices aren't on the menu so unless you explicitly asked for prices you are bound to get sticker shock. They also took awhile to come out on a relatively normal lunch hour. The side pasta salad was small.“
“Food was excellent. The kitchen was also hogging all the good music back there!Service was just ok. It's becoming very annoying to see staff on their cell phones constantly. Then they have the nerve to ask for a minimum 18% tip when you have to check yourself out on the handheld POS. And yes, you can override the 18% but it's insulting after a while. Simply put, do better. The tip shouldn't be an automatic thing. A tip used to mean something, like you went above and beyond.“
“The food we ordered was pretty good, although there isn't much to choose from as vegetarians I was happy with my order. The atmosphere is casual and reminiscent of a late 70s diner with a crowd of mostly local high school students. The staff was very friendly and proficient. This is not a location I would have thought to choose, but after giving it a try, I'll quite likely go again sometime.Vegetarian options: Although there are very few vegetarian options, the food that we did order was surprisingly good. I recommend the waffles and hashbrowns.“
“I only put one star for food because every time I go they are not serving food but the service is excellent the bartender there she is amazing. Atmosphere for me is also a plus there's sometimes you go in theaters about a handful of people which is great because that gives me easy access to get my bmarriages you can sit at the bar are at the table also there are 2 pool tables which when it's not too crowded you can always get to play there's also sitting outside“
“it’s a really cool and fun place to eat out too. they have some fun games in the outside area. the food is always amazing and all the servers are incredibly kind to me when i come to eat! Kid-friendliness: Just good for kids and families but also good for adults(they have a great bar area)“
“This was my wife and I's first time ever visiting Dog and Duck, which was highly recommended by the medical team we visited on 2/20/24 around 3:30 in the afternoon. The restaurant has both outdoor and indoor seating. The welcome sign directs you to sit wherever you like. We chose a booth. Shortly we were great (unknowingly) by the GM. We shared this was our first visit. He welcomed us, announced the name of our server, covered the day's specials, explained the categories on the menu and shared the most common items ordered from the menu. The service was quick, we ordered medium and house garlic wings, Philly cheese steak, and the patty melt. The wings tasted fantastic and were very good size. The sandwich portions were also quite filling. I knew after how great the wings were and one bite into the Philly, the food is far abo e the average restaurant. Thankfully we live an hour and 1/2 away, because we would be broke. I can't recommended Dog and Duck any higher. Great place to take the family or even for a date. If you're near here, grab you some excellent food. You WILL NOT be disappointed! Thank you Dog and Duck team!!!!“
“First time trying this establishment ,Great food , excellent service from a friendly staff. I had the 3 taco selection,House, Chicken and Pulled Pork. They were all great. I tried to decide which one I liked best, I could not decide. That’s how good they all were. The folks who staff this place are on the ball and very friendly.I’m already looking forward to my next visit.Parking: Parking is free , close and convenient.“
“This is a very nice spot for breakfast (all day.) Clean and nice environment inside and also has come comfortable booths. We had an omelet, pancake, egged benedict, and sweet tea. Kasita was a wonderful waitress. They have booster seats and high chairs. Parking in back.Parking: Park in back parking free lotKid-friendliness: Have booster seat, high chair coloring paper Nd crayons.“
“Bohemian Bull is such a special place! The decor is fun and inviting and the menu is just the right amount of variety to please everyone in a large group and keep you guessing for multiple visits. Richard the owner met me the day I was there and he is a joy to speak with. Such a warm inviting personality! I'm actually working on booking their rear space for a private event (oyster roast) with our neighborhood! And don't miss that they have one of the largest selection of bourbons in any restaurant in Charleston! I'll be back to sit on the patios next week for a meal with friends!“
“Had brunch with my mom today & it was delightful. Simple, fresh, food & refreshing cocktails. My mom said it was one of the best Bloody Mary’s she has had! The service was amazing & Malcom is always super accommodating. Definitely recommend this location!“
“Amazing isn’t even the word to begin with!! I had my son’s 16th birthday party on March 24 and from beginning to end, the level of professionalism and accuracy was astounding. Summer one of the event coordinators has been such a huge help from start to finish! I can’t brag enough on how amazing everything was! Will definitely be coming back to celebrate my birthday next! The food was amazing I didn’t even get a chance to snag a plate hahaa!“
