“I was visiting my daughter in Charleston and we had dinner, the drink menu had great choices and I particularly enjoyed the Gold Rush, the crab stuffed cannoli appetizer was the perfect starter before the outstanding ribeyes we both had! The real star of the show here is the Assistant Manager Jacqueline, she was very accommodating and her smile and pleasant demeanor made you feel right at home. I will be back every visit to Charleston in the future, well done👏🏻“

“I threw a surprise birthday party with 30 guests. It was terrific. The upstairs had plenty of room and seating for everyone. The food was excellent with a great selection. Staff and bartenders were very friendly, accommodating and professional. My guest could mingle upstairs or go outside and listened to a very good band. First of all, they did not do this for publicity and did not ask me to leave this review. A loved one of mine experienced a medical emergency at the restaurant. The wait staff showed up in seconds offering us help. After that, the comped our whole bill.

I might be obsessing over this a little but I feel like genuine acts of kindness are hard to come by these days. So here’s to you dog and duck🍻“

I go out to breakfast 7 days a week x 365 days a year .. have had my morning meal in several South Carolina establishments..you get the picture. Sunrise Bistro recently hired a a baker, Maddy. I have had a blueberry, lemon, cranberry/orange and nutella/raspberry muffin..I can say without hesitation these are by far the best muffins I have ever had. Maddy is even going to indulge me with a bran muffin. THANK YOU SUNRISE BISTRO .. THANK YOU MADDY!!“

“Arrived in town 6/28 and leaving 7/4. We've been here every night for dinner. Great Sports Pub vibe! Good food and a great staff. I normally don't do reviews but two people stood out to me, Rob and Elena. They both were there every single day we went in. Elena was holding down the food and Rob managing the Pub. I didn't get to know the other staff's names but these two I can't say enough about. They are the reason we came back. I know one thing, they both deserve a day off! “We have been visiting the southern for over a decade, and it remains one of the last few great Mt P dives with an excellent kitchen. The staff has always been amazing and attentive, even when things get a little wild late night. The fresh squeezed grapefruit and orange drinks are some of the cheapest in town, and they make one of the best cheesesteaks in the area. Highly recommend a visit if you like unpretentious spots with that local vibe. It looks like the business is being targeted by trolls who have never visited, but we can clearly say you should trust the locals. I have never been uncomfortable in there, but don’t walk in expecting a Hall’s experience. It’s a bar first, just with good food options.“

“I came in last Tuesday and had such a lovely experience. Kelly went above and beyond as a server and was such a beautiful soul. She recommended the rotisserie chicken which of course did not disappoint and was so attentive. The tzatziki was mouth watering and the Mac and cheese felt like heaven. I don’t have enough kind words in my vocabulary to say how wonderful the service was, specifically kelly. I wasn’t going to get dessert but kelly hyped it up so much that I could not resist getting it. She needs to be given a raise or something cause my dining experience was 1000000/10. I will be coming back all the time for the food but also for the service!“

“We visited Shem Creek while staying in Charleston, and loved this low country classic. Although we preferred the old location down on Beaufain Street on the peninsula, their food was still 5 stars! I had the fried flounder, and my party had peeled shrimp and a salad. The low country green beans as a side was great, and loved the hush puppies! Thanks Vickery's!“

“The best cookout I had in the Charleston area by far. I had cook out several times on my recent trip to the Charleston area. This ones fries were on point perfectly cooked and seasoned Cajun fries. Tea had light ice as requested and my burger had the nice crunchy bacon I requested always a plus when im listened to when ordering. Thanks again for a great experience and ill definitely be visiting this cookout again when im in the area.“
