She’s always got a smile on her face and is always very prompt and never in too much of a hurry to find out what you really want to eat. She follows up after the meal is served to find out if you need anything else, but not to the point where you’ve got food in your mouth when she comes over to check on your satisfaction.“

Also I had cornbread and for desert chocolate cake. The ladies were very friendly and sitting in the dining room I could sense a feeling of warmth.....Southern Hospitality at its best. They are located off of McMillian Ave in North Charleston. I recommend and suggest that if you want to experience a dining experience like no other head to The Hut. All the meats are excellent AND the sides are flavorful and quite varied, including daily special sides. The portions are generous and one of my favorite things about dining in is that all the sauces are WARM and available in a large pump dispenser. It’s always sad to me to put cold sauce on warm meat … that never happens at Willie Jewell‘s BarBQ on University Boulevard! The restaurant has an old-fashioned and lighthearted atmosphere and the staff are pleasant and efficient.“
