“Seabiscuit Cafe is a favorite of mine when I'm in the Isle of Palms area. Due to the smallee size of the cafe and limited tables chances are you'll have to submit your name for the waitlist but service is swift and efficient. There is outdoor seating and benches for those waiting for their tables so not to worry. Drink in the salt air as you are yards away from the Atlantic Ocean. Soups, salads, burgers are on the menu of course so everyone will be happy. By the way~ breakfast all day here for those who find themselves craving midday egg plate and hash brown plate! I love the ambience of the place too~ like a little coastal cottage that fits in perfectly with the beachy atmosphere that is uniquely Isle of Palms. Nautical items and mermaids dot the walls-- adding to the rustic "beach cafe" setting. A great pre- beach day stop if you're in the mood for a hearty breakfast and you'll find yourself retuning every time!“
“Favorite isle of Palms bar! It gets crazy crowded and the bartenders handle it with ease and smiles! Very local spot so be patient if locals get a beer before you, the bartenders know what they want.Awesome live music and nice new bathrooms! Great stop before a big show at the windjammer. If you’re eating try the French dip, burger or wings. Also, Caesar salad with chicken is good!“
“Met friends for dinner. The food was outstanding. Service was friendly and professional though we had to share menus. It took a bit to get drinks but we did have water while waiting. They had a band in the bar but it became too loud in the restaurant. Something acoustic might be a better choice. We opted to skip dessert since it was so loud.“
“This place was amazing, food was superb and full of flavor, views were outstanding. However, what really made the experience wonderfully perfect was Hailey. I had made three mistakes with my order... these were my mistakes not hers or the establishment, but she corrected all of them... again they were my mistake and she smiled, friendly, and never made me feel guilty. GREAT JOB HAILEY, BECAUSE OF YOU I WILL RETUEN WHEN EVERY MY WIFE AND I ARE IN TOWN. Tell your boss's you deserve a raise!!!!!“
“Stopped in after walking around the shops to get a couple of drinks and chill out. I am glad I did. Great service, and most of the people here were locals. Had a couple of good drinks and seemed Ike everyone eating and drinking was having fun and enjoying their meals. I will definitely be back! Thank you for the good service!“
“Absolutely great! 13yr old hammered an 18” pizza and fries I had 2 orders of meatballs 9yr old had spaghetti and meatball Wifey had caprese sandwich, everything was great! Including her mojito I commented on how good the red pepper flakes were, the waiter said huh, that’s funny, we dump and do new in every shaker once a week! I’ve never heard this to be done anywhere before!!! It’s the little things???????? Staff was amazingly polite and friendly, the 80’s theme and music is the bomb!!! Apple Maps linked to d*** tell reviews that were negative and I’m glad I ignore yelp at all costs!!! Always go to trip advisor for actual reviews“
“Amazing isn’t even the word to begin with!! I had my son’s 16th birthday party on March 24 and from beginning to end, the level of professionalism and accuracy was astounding. Summer one of the event coordinators has been such a huge help from start to finish! I can’t brag enough on how amazing everything was! Will definitely be coming back to celebrate my birthday next! The food was amazing I didn’t even get a chance to snag a plate hahaa!“
“My family was in town for vacation and wanted to find somewhere for breakfast other than the usual chains. We stumbled upon Sunrise Bistro and couldn't have had a better experience. I don't remember the last time I've encountered such genuinely kind and friendly people in the service industry. On top of the exceptional service, the food was amazing! My son loved his chicken and waffles! My other son had a chorizo breakfast burrito and inhaled every bite! My husbandoved the self serve coffee bar. We will definitely be back the next time we're in town. Don't miss this place!“
“Ordered the soft shell crab special… it was HUGE! Got two of them along with risotto and broccoli. We had good service but witnessed a few customers coming up to staff saying they needed service at their table. Otherwise we were just fine. Husband got the new Tuna bowl… which was also amazing. I will say my soft soft crab special, being $49.95, should have been disclosed ahead of time (the cost.) I probably would have still ordered as the dish was a ton of food but for others, maybe something to consider. I wish I snapped a pic of it. Broccoli was cooked PERFECTLY and the risotto was sooo good. It had corn and asparagus cuts in it. Amazing. Overall, great experience, with friendly staff.“
“Our son's wedding rehearsal dinner at Red Drum was truly exceptional, and I can't praise it enough. Every aspect of the evening exceeded our expectations. The staff was not only professional but also warm and friendly, ensuring that every guest felt welcomed. The food was outstanding, receiving numerous compliments for both its variety and quality. The manager went above and beyond to accommodate our requests, making us feel at ease throughout the entire event. Words can't express how pleased we were with our experience. Red Drum has certainly won us over as lifelong patrons, and I'll confidently recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience.Parking: Not a ton of parking at the restaurant, but plenty of on street parking in the surrounding neighborhood.“
“I showed up at 7 minutes before closing time with a special needs adult and a toddler. Server Kelly looked at us as we poked our heads in, looked at the clock, and said "sure, come on in." She proceeded to serve us like we were VIP's and the best thing to happen to her all day. What's more, the food is awesome. Really good. Huge menu for a breakfast place. I'm a fan.“
“We were seated right away on a Monday night. The restaurant was about 3/4 full and appeared to be doing a brisk take-away. Donna was our server and was friendly and attentive. Our food arrived quickly and were quite good size portions! My salmon was cooked perfectly and the Thai chili sauce was a great compliment to it. My husband's roast beef sandwich was stuffed full and he even liked the horseradish mayo they used. This place is definitely going on the list of where to eat in Mount Pleasant.Dietary restrictions: They offer gluten free and vegetarian options.“
“This restaurant was so cute and the food was delicious! The staff were so kind and friendly. The kids keep asking to go back which is rare for everyone to agree on the same place! We highly recommend the creamy polenta, it was so good we ordered a second round!Kid-friendliness: Great kids options, friendly staff“
“Absolutely delicious! We were so lucky to find Crave on our last night in Mount Pleasant. Perfect ending to our trip. Abigail was a delightful waitress and very helpful. From the sweet potato bread with honey butter, pan-seared cod on hummus with spring vegetables, the Mediterranean salad, and chocolate/peanut butter dessert, we were in food heaven. Even the Sea Island spiced Rum and coke were perfect. Expensive, but worth every penny. We would be eating here frequently if we lived in the Charleston area.Vegetarian options: Several salad options as well as appetizers.Dietary restrictions: My husband and I are diabetic and try to watch carb intake. We are also vegetarian. I didn't do as well because I had to try dessert. However, there were quite a meals that met our needs and we were happy.Parking: Crave is in a cute shopping development. There was parking in front as well behind the restaurant. There was a entrance in the back so that you don't have to walk around to the front door in inclement weather.“
“Every once in a while you “find” a great place that has been right in front of you all along. High Thyme is one of those places! We came in for dinner for the first time recently and were blown away and couldn’t believe it has been an option for us for so many years and we just have been missing out. The food was incredible, portions generous, service friendly and knowledgeable and the wine was very reasonably priced with great selection. We arrived right at 5 and the dining area had plenty of tables available but it appeared as though the bar may have opened up a bit earlier because every stool was already filled. By 5:30 the dining room was also packed (this was a Saturday night in between Christmas and New Year’s for reference). All in all we are thrilled to find another great spot on Sullivan’s and can’t wait to go back. Definitely aspiring regulars.“
“I love Art's - it may easily be one of the best burgers in South Carolina (just a plain cheeseburger, yes!), and the rest of the food should be tested very soon. Art's apparently serves mean chicken wings (happy hour on Wednesdays!). Service is great, atmosphere classic ...“
“The food is amazing. Fresh squeezed juices make for extraordinary cocktails. The service is so refreshing- thank you sincerely Hank for making every visit one we enjoy immensely. For all visiting- and I hesitate just a little to admit this- this is where locals go. If you like dive bar meets great music, food, drinks, and service- this is your place.“
“Sometimes (almost all the time) my husband and I just go to the beach so that we can stop at Dunleavy’s after the beach. It’s cash only so plan ahead, but we enjoy the cold beer, delicious popcorn, and their amazing chili. This place is a staple. My husband also loves the chicken salad sandwich. Please bring back the apple Bold Rock, and I may never leave (but I’ll enjoy the Miller Lite in the meantime!).“
“I got the smash burger, hand cut fries, tots and a cookies and cream shake. Everything was delicious. I forgot to request extra pickles but I didn’t need to because there were actually enough☺️The fries were incredible. I would go just for them alone. The service was lovely. I think some of the other reviews are a bit harsh. They can’t really do anything about the size of their restaurant. The soft serve is dairy free. And that’s what causes it to be icy. Again not in their control. I found the prices to be very reasonable. And they have Mr.Pibb. I’ll definitely go back.“
“Absolutely amazing! Adam our server was awesome and very knowledgeable! The hostesses were very welcoming! The bone in ribeye, the wine suggestions from Adam, the green beans, whipped potatoes, soft shell crab, and the wedge salad were all absolutely perfect!! I don’t think you can go wrong here and would come back regularly if I lived here. If I had one complaint at all was the bartender could have been more friendly, but we all have bad days. Great job overall!“
“Another awesome dinner at Poe's!! The burgers, chicken sandwiches and fries are the best! But so is the chicken quesadilla!! The servers are very friendly and the restaurant is fun! Outside tables are great. The brews are very good too!“
“Parts of our meal were really outstanding (the poached pear salad). Other parts were just okay (crab cake, brussel sprouts). Meats (filet & pork chop) were cooked perfectly. House sangria not as flavorful as I'd hoped. Overall we enjoyed ourselves & would return to try different things.“
“The place to go for some good breakfast, brunch, and lunch. The food here is always good, and the portion sizes do fit the price tag. The drinks here are also good with their variety of breakfast cocktails and spiked coffees, and they do not skimp on the alcohol. The dining area is clean, and the service was pretty quick. The staff were very helpful and friendly to make sure our table was taken care of. I'd definitely recommend this place for brunch.Parking: Free strip mall parking lot.Kid-friendliness: Good place to take the kids and family.“
“I love this restaurant. Wonderfully inviting atmosphere to enjoy a great relaxing food experience. First, let's start with the fresh baked bread. Not sliced, but a whole loaf to enjoy.Cocktails, of course. Then on to the mouth watering steaks.Juicy, cooked to perfection with side dishes, so very good.We go to Longhorn Steakhouse at least two times per month. Always outstanding!“
“Always have a good time at Mainland. On the most recent visit, it was pretty crowded and they may have been understaffed so service was a little slow. But service staff was very friendly and helpful.I ordered the grouper bites which were ok. Not a fan of the breading/batter they used but the fish was good and great sauce to accommodate. They usually have some live music on the weekends and the outdoor space is where it’s all at! Usually they have decent amount of seating unless it’s an oyster roast day.The best part is the dogs love it.“
“We are visiting Charleston and went in search of a nice, reasonable, well served seafood place. We found Wando River Grill and it is AMAZING in everyway!! Our server, Maggie, was so patient, helpful and attentive--we loved her!! The white chocolate bread pudding is out of this world--you have to try it! We will be back!!!“
“Server Lavonne was great! Very responsive and pleasant. Had the Florentine Biscuit Bennie. Thought I wouldn’t like it with the biscuit instead of english muffin, but loved it. Egg cooked perfectly and biscuit was yummy. I sat at one of the high tops in the bar area and couldn’t have asked for better service! Coffee was ver good too and they even had oat milk.“
“Just your little neighborhood Pizza joint serving up fresh ingredients on an awesome crust. Lunch Specials can't be beat. Their Meatball Appetitizer is the bomb, but only get 2 per order. Slices are Very Big. Their down side is the Wings Rock, but at Market Price, it's pricey. I had 12 wings. Med Buffalo and $25.00, way too high over their competition in the Mt. Pleasant Area.“
“The food we ordered was pretty good, although there isn't much to choose from as vegetarians I was happy with my order. The atmosphere is casual and reminiscent of a late 70s diner with a crowd of mostly local high school students. The staff was very friendly and proficient. This is not a location I would have thought to choose, but after giving it a try, I'll quite likely go again sometime.Vegetarian options: Although there are very few vegetarian options, the food that we did order was surprisingly good. I recommend the waffles and hashbrowns.“
“The truffle grits with Scallops and asparagus was delicious. Scallops cooked perfectly. I sat at the bar and the bartender was very talkative and nice. Can’t remember his name, but thank you for great service and being kind. Made for an all around great experience. Also, thank you to chef for planing my food back under the heat lamps while I used the restroom.“
