“Long Island Cafe has been a part of my families dinner traditions for birthdays, holidays, and other get-togethers we have had over the years. They have honored my grandfather when he passed, and are always exceptionally polite and friendly to my grandmother and family. The food is absolutely delicious, and I love its proximity to the beach. If you’re looking for an amazing meal. I highly recommend eating here. They source a lot of food items locally. Thank you for helping to continue and keeping memories alive.~Shinners and Miller family~”
“We had a wonderful experience at dinner last night! We were looking at the tables surrounding us for ideas and everyone's dinner looked scrumptious. We both had grouper with creamy grits and I'm picky about my grits. They were perfect!! Our server was experienced and very attentive. It was our first visit to the restaurant and we will definitely return several times before we leave the island.”
“I had a couple of girlfriends in town and wanted to take them somewhere that we could sit outside by the beach to have mimosas and oysters. Colin was our server and he was amazing! He set the tone for a such a fun stop in our day. He was attentive even when all of his other tables filled up. I already know I’m going to go back but if I see Colin working, I will ask to be seated with him!”
“One of, if not THE best, restaurant for food in Charleston. Had several courses and every single one was just amazing. The chef really knows what he's doing with flavor. It can be hard to get a reservation, but totally worth it!”
“I had shrimp and oyster platter. Lightly breaded, not greasy, and the Charleston red rice was excellent! Very, very good meal. Service and atmosphere was excellent as well. Great experience!”
“So decided to have a vegetarian meal and asked Jen if she had a choice, an omelet, or tomato pie (I ❤️ ?). Tomato pie was recommended, and it did not disappoint, so delicious. Thanks, ”
“Delicious lunch, child friendly, and a great overall experience! Our server Becca H was awesome and did a great job! Thanks, Becca! We highly recommend Papi’s!”
“Let me verse this by saying….this was my first ever time trying Co-Op which was super random being that it was through Uber Eats. I ordered the Italian with a side of red wine vinegar chips. Ordered it at around 1130 am and it didn’t show up until close to 1:00 pm. I don’t fault Co Op at all for this. I totally get it. Uber Eats was behind in drop offs and ditched out $5 bucks for their lateness. Those Holy City red wine vinegar chips didn’t come with either….just to note. Again, mistakes happen. We’re all human.However…..That Sammie. Holy moly. ? It was late, cheese cooled and sandwich barely warm but dang….she was delectable AF! ?? Totally amazing and deliciously prepared. The flavors were top notch. Panini bread….Italian meats, on point. I honestly expected a soggy less than palatable sandwich. It was an experience worth mentioning. ps. can’t wait to come back for the frose! ?? Y’all are doing amazing things!! Keep up the incredible work ?”
“We started with the Shuck and Savor experience. Chef Thalita Smith and Manager Sydney were amazing in explaining the oysters, the procurement process, and the wine in pairing with them. We learned so much! Then we went for dinner and were amazed again! Manager Dana was able to seat us right away. She was so attentive! Chef Thalita is so good at what she does! She was so personable and knowledgeable. Our server, Nick was so on top of things and his demeanor made our whole experience amazing! By the way - his chocolate milk made our son smile! The oysters were amazing, the Asian salad was so refreshing, the kids chicken strips for our son were huge, and the dessert-ASTOUNDING!Thank you! We can’t wait to visit again!”
“Over the weekend our family dined at Coconut Joes in Isle of Palms and we have to say, what a great establishment and atmosphere! The food and drinks were fantastic and received excellent service from our server Adam. We had a little bigger group and were seated inside on the first level of 2. Adam had several other tables during our visit and was very personable and made sure to accommodate our group and provide the best recommendations and was happy to even go upstairs for a certain beer on tap numerous of times. Overall, what a wonderful place and hardworking friendly staff. We will recommend to anyone and return when we vacation again.”
“We were here during off season in March so limited staff. Regardless our barista was awesome. Very friendly and handled herself with ease even though she was on her own to handle the rush. Very pleased with our latte's.”
“Favorite isle of Palms bar! It gets crazy crowded and the bartenders handle it with ease and smiles! Very local spot so be patient if locals get a beer before you, the bartenders know what they want.Awesome live music and nice new bathrooms! Great stop before a big show at the windjammer. If you’re eating try the French dip, burger or wings. Also, Caesar salad with chicken is good!”
“We ordered the breakfast platter and funnel fries and everything tasted great. Coffee was simple brewed and tasted fine, but definitely NOT worth $5 - best to go off the resort to get better/cheaper coffee. Employee working the front was monosyllabic, we asked her how her day was and she replied “good” and ended the conversation. Kind of odd for resort customer service.”
“The pulled pork nachos are the best I've ever had. Carolina Gold BBQ is the key! Nice views. Indoor and outdoor seating options. Reasonable prices. Overall this is a great place to grab lunch or dinner.”
“Our family stopped in for dinner about 8:30pm. It was still quite busy, but had no trouble getting a table right away. The kids ordered the short ribs and chicken alfredo pasta. They said it was good, but that they've had better. My wife and I ordered the shrimp and grits, which were outstanding. There is plenty of parking, but you have to be sure you park on their lot to avoid being towed. They have signs posted and if you aren't sure if you parked in the right place just ask somebody when you go inside.Parking: There is plenty of parking, but you have to be sure you park on their lot to avoid being towed.
