“As a local but for business, I’ve been three times in three months. Brand new menu just dropped this week and it was wonderful, and we loved it before. Manager (sommelier) was friendly, knowledgeable, and generous. Ask for a bottle of the Lebanese wine he gifted our table. You will not be disappointed.“

“First time coming here! The food was great!! We got the Sweet and Spicy Chips. As you can see it’s a good amount. They were good! I personally love more spicy than sweet, but they were still 8/10. I got the five spice ground pork bánh mì. It was delicious! Very fulfilling! I should’ve asked for jalapeños but other than that I really enjoyed it! For the people like me that don’t like tap water from Charleston (?) bring your own water because they don’t sell bottled waters. I’m not a soda drinker but in this situation I had a good bottled Coca Cola, which was yummy, but I would’ve personally preferred some bottled water. I would def come back here! Great food, fast, and easy! ☺️“

“Always enjoy dining outside (inside good too) at Mex 1. We’ve always had friendly and attentive waitstaff and the tacos are so good you want to eat more than you should. Yesterday our chips were thin, hot and fresh.. also making you eat more than you should. Highly recommended, but make sure you leave a table for me.“

“We like Seewee and go a few times every year. The food is good. My only co.plaint is the fish stew. There was no fish in it except maybe a flec or two. It was canned diced tomatoes in a bowl, no flavor at all. I have never asked to not charge me for a dish at a restaurant but I wish I had.“

“No wait on a Thursday night mid-May, with a table on the porch. The mussels were awesome with a delicious sauce that demanded more bread to soak up every drop. Lasagne was very flavorful, and the halibut special was perfectly cooked, and spinach was easily substituted for collard greens. Jessie was a great server with a very pleasant demeanor. Loved this place and will definitely return. Don’t miss it!“

“I get takeout from here a lot & have always found the food to be good, but I don’t think I’ve ever ordered anything but sushi (no hibachi). The sushi rolls are good & I like their weekend/happy hour specials. The spicy tuna/salmon rolls are always a hit, plus good specialty rolls include Traveller, Yum Yum & Red Dragon rolls. Quick service too.“

She recommended the rotisserie chicken which of course did not disappoint and was so attentive. The tzatziki was mouth watering and the Mac and cheese felt like heaven. “Came here for date night and we sat upstairs on the balcony. Nice view over a pond with some ducks in it. Our waitress was very sweet and attentive with us! We ordered the steamed dumplings, pad thai and the red curry duck. Dumplings were very tasty and not soggy like some places I've been to. The entrees were nicely portioned. The pad thai was good - more peanuty and sweeter than I'm used to but still good. The roast duck was very good and would get this again!“

“We randomly stumbled upon this place while searching for a spot to eat and get out of the rain and we were more than satisfied. The staff is very friendly, the menu is very impressive, and the food was amazing. My girlfriend had an iced coffee and the avocado toast and I had a coffee and one of the paninis. We both left very full but still managed to snag a few pastries for the road. We will definitely be adding this place to our regular stops when we're in town.“

“This is my favorite place in Mt Pleasant to see live music! Sundays are especially wonderful - when they have my favorite bands like Ryan Bonner & the Dearly Beloved, Guilt Ridden Troubadour, Hollifield, and Jordan Igoe. The owners are lovely, and they have super nice people who work behind the bar and who cook. Great food, beer, wine, and mixed drinks, too. I like the soups, burgers and onion rings especially. Easy parking.“
