“We had no reservations. Walked in, and the kitchen was only cooking orders that had already been placed. The chef/owner offered us seats at the bar and his special homemade pasta with meatballs for 2. The bartender was very attentive, funny accommodating and the food was amazing True Italian dishes. everyone we came in contact with with was friendly and accommodating“

She was the bartender at the bar in the lobby of Wild Dunes Resort (Sweetwater) on May 19, 2024 and she kept the bar open a few hour late to ensure the wedding party and guests had the time of their lives. I just had dinner and drinks a few days ago and ran into Angelica again. She provides first class service with a smile and she makes everything better!“

“I highly recommend this place but skip the desserts! The service was amazing . We had a great server. The appetizers and entrees were fabulous. Very flavorful. One dish was better than the next . I would have given 5 stars but the desserts were a big disappointment. We sent them back . The “smores” tasted like a bottle of cinnamon with roasted cloves . The cream puff had no cream . The pastry chef tried to get too creative and missed. Classic example of ego over customer needs .“

I also got the cajun shrimp and Grouper grilled, with grits and green beans. The grits was amazing, the beans was a litte over cooked and the seasoning on the fish and shrimp was a little too much for me. the shrimp and grouper was cooked perfectly.“
