“We were there on Sept 12th about 5pm.... the restraunt is so busy during regular dinner hours (understandable because the food is delicious) .... my advice is to try going on off hours ... because the server staff is so over-stimulated with too many customers/tables to handle during the heavily trafficked dinner rush ... however we were pleasantly surprised to discover that the kitchen does a great job of taking the time to make each dish deliciously perfect even in the face of overcrowded chaos ... thank you to the boathouse kitchen staff for making our meal perfect when the rest of the house was going crazy“

“The most amazing food, everything was the best I've ever had. She crab soup and hush puppies stuffed with shrimp- I thought it couldn't get better... but then we had the filet mignon and a crab pasta and both of those were out of this world. Dessert was sort of a deconstructed lemon meringue pie, you must try ! Cocktails also wonderful- excellent margarita with a new star - Lalo tequila, and an “interesting find” wine- a Malbec was absolutely delicious. The service was perfection as it always is. Such a pleasure to dine here. Can't wait to return!“

“We had no reservations. Walked in, and the kitchen was only cooking orders that had already been placed. The chef/owner offered us seats at the bar and his special homemade pasta with meatballs for 2. The bartender was very attentive, funny accommodating and the food was amazing True Italian dishes. everyone we came in contact with with was friendly and accommodating“
