“We had the restaurant week menu. The food was delicious but the portions for dinner and dessert were extremely small (a small plate portion). I'm not sure if that was due to restaurant week or if the portions are always that small. Definitely not worth the money for the portion size. Unfortunate, because the food was very good. The staff was terrific and the service was great.“

It’s definitely hard to get a reservation here so act early. For good reason because the food is excellent as is the service. I enjoyed the seafood curry dish. Located right off the main strip. “This review is overdue. We visited Mex 1 Coastal Cantina this past October and stopped by for dinner. I ordered the two taco platter and chose Bangin' Shrimp and Baja Fish tacos. It was absolutely amazing. Our server was fantastic - I wish I could remember her name. Just a wonderful dinner. A few days later we were in the area again and went for lunch. We were greeted by the same server and both ordered the same entrees we had previously - they were both equally as good as a few nights ago and the server was just as fantastic. We will be visiting in about a month for a 3 week stay in the area and you can bet Mex 1 will be a frequent stop.“
“Every once in a while you “find” a great place that has been right in front of you all along. High Thyme is one of those places! We came in for dinner for the first time recently and were blown away and couldn’t believe it has been an option for us for so many years and we just have been missing out. The food was incredible, portions generous, service friendly and knowledgeable and the wine was very reasonably priced with great selection. We arrived right at 5 and the dining area had plenty of tables available but it appeared as though the bar may have opened up a bit earlier because every stool was already filled. By 5:30 the dining room was also packed (this was a Saturday night in between Christmas and New Year’s for reference). All in all we are thrilled to find another great spot on Sullivan’s and can’t wait to go back. Definitely aspiring regulars.“
“We were seated as soon as we arrived. The music in this place was great! 70s mellow disco. Haha. We tried the famous Mac and cheese. It was yummy but maybe didn't live up the hype. Reports were the cheese flavor was too mild. Bread and butter was delicious. Food was very good but slow to come. Server was nice. More attentive when we sat down, less as we waited and waited for food. We didn't see her again until it was time for the check. Reports across the table was that everyone liked what they ordered. Overall, good experience, would go back again. I personally enjoyed the crispy Brussels, and the salmon served with a Mediterranean salad. Yum.“

“The food at Lola Rose is very good, as we expected. We have been to The Grocery and had a wonderful meal there, so we anticipated good things. We were not disappointed. Focaccia was fresh and delicious. Margherita pizza was very good. The special fish dish with saffron was excellent! Desserts were tasty and well-portioned. “Excellent food and service! We made reservations here for a group of 39 to watch a basketball game after a long day at the baseball park. The location was perfect! We sat outside and it accommodated our party very well! Our server Mylie was great! She got our food orders in quick and food was excellent! I got the Italian flatbread and loved it. Everyone in our party loved their food. Thanks to the managers of the restaurant for making sure our party would be accommodated well from the beginning to end of the reservations! “Love this place! The games are fun, the food is incredible with lots of options (I’m vegan and was so pleased to see I could get a vegan burger that also had vegan mayo & vegan cheese!). I love that there is also the option to go after 7 pm when it’s 21+ .. it’s fun to be able to still be somewhere playing games, drinking, and enjoying a dj without worrying about children being around! Serving staff and managers are all so friendly, attentive and accommodating.
