“I just ordered from this location (12-6-23 at around 2:25pm) for the first time ever, and I was so taken aback with regard to how friendly and jovial the staff members were! Ashley, Clayton, and Jendaya helped me with my order, and they were all just so nice and fun to be around. Even though my wait wasn’t long at all, mind you, they were dealing with several orders, I found myself leaving there in a better mood because of those ladies! It’s not often you go into a a sub joint and find yourself surrounded by infectious, wonderful personalities. I sure hope that this review is read by management bc these three ladies deserve some much-deserved attention! Thank you, ladies, for making my day!”

“I've noticed the staff are very easy going and polite. Very work oriented and speedy. Great menu items.. not the usual pizza and specials. they offer coupons and promo codes for online shopping. There open late!! Delivery is available to most local customers. There ready to greet you with a smile?.. the surrounding community are lucky to have a food service that really cares. From desserts to dinner they've got you covered, give them a call or order online there the best ones for the job. “Sonic on Folly is providing such wonderful service these days. Last night, the person taking my order was so kind and was very service-oriented. She wanted to get for me exactly what I’d like and was extremely good at how she operated. The server was very pleasant and quick. The food was delicious. Napkins were included, thank goodness. So many fast food places forget that and it drives me crazy! Sonic, you’re doing an excellent job!”

“Genuinely some of the best food I've had ever, I'm still dreaming about the beet and burrata salad, radiatore, and the chocolate cremeux dessert. Rarely are dishes so good I'm motivated enough to even try to recreate but days after the burrata salad I did just that (ofc it wasn't as good as the original). The chocolate cremeux was the dessert of my dreams: the perfect saltiness of the cookie with the creaminess of the marshmallow and chocolate was absolute heaven. I'm just sad I can't go back right away since we visited Charleston only briefly.”

“Me and my husband recently stopped in at Doar brother's while exploring downtown Charleston. We sit at the bar, the atmosphere inside was very relaxing and almost romanatic with dim candle lights and soft music. The hostess, who was also the bartender, was very welcoming, informative, and very pleasant and fun to talk with. She was very good at her craft, a drink artist, all of our drinks were as beautiful as they were delicious. Out of all the bars we had drinks at in downtown, it was our favorite for vibe and drink quality, especially for the price point. We even came back at the end of the night to have another round of drinks before heading back to our room, this time we had a male bartender and he was equally as good at his job and pleasant as his female counterpart.We had a very pleasant experience and will definitely stop in again while in charleston!”

Every dish we tried was like a party in our mouths. I'm talking next-level risotto with truffles that had us swooning, and ossobuco so tender it practically melted on the fork. The staff were super friendly and knew their stuff when it came to recommending wine pairings. We ended up trying a couple of their suggestions, and boy, were they spot on!Honestly, it's no surprise this joint has a solid five-star rating. “Our favorite restaurant during our time in Charleston! I wish we would’ve done the chef courses menu to get more variety, but everything we ordered was perfect. So creative and a great use of seasonal and local produce. You can tell there’s so much thought and care put into each dish. Expect to spend about $80 a person, but it’s so worth it.Our waiter was incredible and made our night so much better! Definitely get the butterscotch pudding if they still have it on their menu! :)”

“This place was top notch. From the Hostess to the Bartender to our Waiter. Some of the best food we have eaten at any seafood restaurant. We spend a lot of time in the Florida Keys and nothing compares to Hank's. Hank's is a must if you are visiting Charleston.”

If you wanna even be considered to go in there, they do not take reservations get there at 4 o’clock. You may find yourself in a line of 30 people, but you will get in.”

“Located on upper King Street, The Darling Oyster Bar is a hoping joint that you must make reservations if you want to get prime time seating, as it is clearly very popular with the locals. As you can imagine from the name, it’s a seafood heavy restaurant so be prepared. The atmosphere is fun and casual, a touch on the loud side but not off putting. Note there are two sections, the large more "happening" side with the bar, osyer shuckers, with multiple street facing windows and a smaller, dark wood lined room that is much quieter and intimate.For our meal we had the Fried Clam Strips (good but they used a sweet and sour sauce that reminded me of a General Tao's or Orange Beef sauce), Hushpuppies (delicious), Creole Shrimp (excellent...one of the best shrimp dishes we've ever had!) and, of course being in the south, a side of Grits (which I love).Service was great! Friendly and engaging with the meals brought out relatively quickly. Overall, a highlight of our visit to Charleston and strongly recommend it for seafood lovers. Enjoy!”

They were very well balanced, great textures, new flavors, and so satisfying. We had Salmon and Toro Nigiri, they were hands down the best fish I have ever eaten. They were perfect, you could not improve these dishes, absolutely impeccable. Lastly, we ordered the Duck Fried Rice with a poached egg; it was so luxurious.
