Only one veggie entree -- the cauliflower with harrisa -- and it was one of the most delicious things any of us, even the meat eaters, had ever had. Four of the five appetizers, which are generously portioned, were meat free, so everyone feasted.”

“We recently visited Charleston and forgot to make dinner reservations, that’s when we happed on to The Royal Tern. Despite no reservations, they gladly seated us at a great table. The food was exquisite, everything from the Raw Bar, the fried shrimp, to the halibut. The halibut was prepared perfectly and was so unique; the ingredients worked together in delicious synergy. My cocktail was on-point, too. As a home cook, being able to watch the chefs prepare the meals was fascinating. Mad respect for their craft. Met one of the owners as he was making his rounds in the dining room, and he was a lovely person. He even printed a map w/shortcuts for us since traffic is so bad in the Charleston area. Highly recommend, will definitely be back next time we’re in town.”

“Absolutely love this new cafe!!. It is in such a great location on the way to Kiawah Island. To Go options, smoothies, brunch options, coffee, alcohol, picnic options, indoor sit down dining, and outdoor air down dining options. Atmosphere is super fresh, clean, everyone is so friendly and kind. We were a bit nervous stopping at a new place but absolutely fell in love. We also have two little boys and we did not feel uncomfortable or a nuisance. We often times run into that feeling when eating but that was not the case. They also had a refrigerator full of all local business products from local alcohol to local bagels to local ice cream. We will be definitely stopping by next time we go to Kiawah and also we will be bringing all of our local friends. Such a nice warm welcome change when it comes to places to eat in the Kiawah area.”

Jennie-Ann was the definition of southern hospitality, that cinnamon roll is a must (forget your diet, forget your gluten allergy, take extra insulin - it's worth it.) biscuits and gravy made that melt your heart, shrimp and grits perfect cook and amazing flavor. My friend said she could eat the Mediterranean omelette every day of her life. And for extra point they use the McDonald's straws so you get the perfect amount of coke in every sip.🥰🤤🥹”

We used to go to its grocery stores to get their delicious tacos, glad that they have opened the restaurant. Great margaritas as well.”

“Don't let the casual look of this place fool you. The food and drinks are top notch. Excellent burgers, shepherds pie, house made ranch dressing, and wagyu sliders. The Brussels sprouts with goat cheese are a favorite. Prices are reasonable, and the service is excellent. Treat yourself to the cheese curds with gravy.”

You gotta give guests water immediately after they are seated. The captain can do this. It's pretty hot in August, so the guests will notice this. Easy thing to fix.

On the plus side, we were at the Dunlin for a special occasion and Linette's recognized it. That was awesome.”

They have been a hit for family, friends. She is communicative, timely, has fair pricing, and very creative!”

I haven't been to a Waffle house in years and decided to take my daughter for breakfast.
It was busy, received greetings as we walked in and waited for the staff to clean a booth.
We've been there twice in the past month.

The Waffles seem to be smaller from the past years ago. However, with the combo of eggs, protein or their wonderful hash browns it is beyond satisfying! All positive!!

In reflection, thank you Waffle House for focusing on a solid quality meal vs. waste due to the size of the waffle of yesterday.

The staff were super nice and showed a sense of urgency! Wow good to see that!
The customer base was mixed with retirees, families with fun children and me and my daughter discussing college.

“This place is fabulous. Chicken piccata with the best buttery lemon garlic sauce. Pasta fagioli tastes like my grandmas. The arancini are the best ones I’ve found so far. Cocktails are fantastic. Then topped it off with homemade Pistachio cheesecake 🤤. All of this tops wild olive any day and not as pricey. Closest authentic Italian I’ve been able to find in the area. Food tastes like home!”
