“This is what a good brewery should be like. The bar area is right next to the brewing area. Great tasting variety of beers and meads and you can taste a sample.There is a food truck out front with a great reasonably priced menu. Well behaved dogs are allowed outside. Friendly staff and local patrons.....and the NFL ticket! If you can't find a beer, mead or food here that you like you should reconsider going out!“
“If I could give more than 5 stars I would! We visited on a Sunday afternoon with live music playing and this spot was beautiful and well designed. The menu had a curated list of a variety of draft beers, cocktails, ciders, and wine. The food was fantastic from the wood fired truck on site! Everyone on staff was incredibly friendly and attentive to my pup. There were plenty of seating options at the outdoor picnic tables, indoor high tops, and some cozy spots with couches. We will definitely be back!“

There are absolutely no signs to lead you into the place, you just have to trust your GPS! Once you find it, you will love this brewery. With a fantastic view of the Ashley River and great tasting beer at very reasonable prices, you can't go wrong. If we lived locally, this would be a weekly hangout.“

“This was unexpected to have great sushi and a great brew but that’s exactly what happened. Enjoyed every second here! The interior taproom is small but keeps the space cozy and the atmosphere is very welcoming. The staff went out of their way to be hospitable and friendly the entire time during my visit. There’s a heated covered patio with more room for larger groups and there’s a killer roof top option with a fire pit. Was one of my favorite stops while visiting the area. Cheers!!“

“First time here and we were there for the Lobster Truck that was there for the day. Turns out I did not get lobster and got the Nachos from next door at the Brewlab. But this review is for CRB so lets talk about that. They were also having something to do with dogs this day so plenty of mutts everywhere which my wife thought of as a huge bonus. The place was cool and the inside bar lovely. And we are now big fans of the blonde ale with orange flavor. I bought a case and plan on coming back for more. My wife loves it and she is not a huge beer drinker.“

“This place was an excellent find. Looking for lunch, came across it for beer and they ended up having satisfying food. Big menu for a brewery. Shared three items, and we liked all of them. The cucumber salad was a huge hit with both of us. Also the meat sampler platter was HUGE. Easily could have served 4. I was hesitant about the smoked cream cheese, and its the thing I ended up liking the most!! Unique and really good. Don't miss it when you are there. Served with the pita chips it can be a meal in itself. Pickle chips were exactly what you think a fried pickle chip is. Beers were good and worth the 3.79 overall brewery rating on Untapped. Good draft variety, offerings of wine and cider as well for those who don't like/can't have beer. Was quiet the day we were there, but certainly can see it getting busy and loud. Recommend for lunch, absolutely. Wish I could give 4.5 stars. It wasn't quite 5, but it is better than 4.“
“Ok so to be fair our company(Lowcountry Artificial Turf) did the artificial turf for Tradesmen and the owner operators and partners are really cool. They had a reopening recently and I wanted to check it out. I started our journey maybe a little biased because we had done business together. Buuuuuuttt. The place was so much different from when we were working there!!!! TVs and games on everywhere inside and outside!! Beer is awesome ? “but had options for our non beer drinkers”, Live music from a container stage, and a Venezuelan BBQ truck that was fire ?. “My wife and I were visiting Charleston for the first time this past week and found our way over to Lo-Fi brewing on Saturday night. It was a fun time and the Blueberry Wheat and the Farm Pils were great beers. It was a quiet evening at the time and we found ourselves having a blast talking to the bartender and a couple of other patrons.I wanted to thank our bartender, Britney (I think that was her name. I'm sorry if I got that wrong), and the other two people there that night (I'm sorry I also forgot their names). They were friendly, welcoming, and fun to talk to. They told us all about their beers and the brewery. Moreover, as we talked to them about our trip so far, they gave us a list of other great restaurants, bars, and activities to check out during our trip to Charleston. “I’ve been going to Frothy Beard for a couple of years and the selection of beers has improved. The food selection has increased with burgers and wings that are as good as most pubs. One item to stay away from is the nachos. They would win the worst in Charleston award.“
