Fantastic beers, Gwapo sour and Sunrizer IPA are delicious and balanced. Bok Choy Boy drunk noodles, incredible! Just enough spice to give it a kick and super fresh veggies inside. Homemade dumplings with a scallion soy sauce, steamy and so so flavorful! My new favorite spot!
Charles Towne Fermentory was a brewery that Steve and I tried in the not too distant past. The Extra Hellos Lager was a beer that we had with this particular brewery outing and it was a fairly good experience. With this lager it was very refreshing, hoppy, crisp and an added zing (or so it felt) to add a little spring to your step. Was expecting better beer based on the Untappd reviews. It’s well crafted and the sours were their best beers but the IPAs lack the hop-bomb profile I’ve come to expect being from the Midwest. Cool spot, great service, and love the tasty partnership with Bok Choy Boy (though your clothes will smell like a kitchen when you leave as a result).
