Beer was mediocre and service subpar. It was nice that they had pinball games and foozeball for the kids, but when the machine took my son’s money at one of the pinball games, the bartender refused to refund him the money. It’s a small amount of money, that she should have been empowered to refund but said “these things happen sometime, there’s nothing I can do.”

Extremely nice beer !Not easy to park - but lovely beer. Good food too! ?

Visit family in Charleston at least once a year. Coming from Vermont and this place has the best IPAs I’ve had in SC hands down. Highly recommend.

Was expecting better beer based on the Untappd reviews. It’s well crafted and the sours were their best beers but the IPAs lack the hop-bomb profile I’ve come to expect being from the Midwest. Cool spot, great service, and love the tasty partnership with Bok Choy Boy (though your clothes will smell like a kitchen when you leave as a result).

Fantastic beers, Gwapo sour and Sunrizer IPA are delicious and balanced. Bok Choy Boy drunk noodles, incredible! Just enough spice to give it a kick and super fresh veggies inside. Homemade dumplings with a scallion soy sauce, steamy and so so flavorful! My new favorite spot!

A very relaxed atmosphere with a friendly bartender and a delicious Asian fusion-type kitchen-mate. We appreciated the sports tv with nice craft beers to sample. We're definitely going back!

Charles Towne Fermentory was a brewery that Steve and I tried in the not too distant past. The Extra Hellos Lager was a beer that we had with this particular brewery outing and it was a fairly good experience. With this lager it was very refreshing, hoppy, crisp and an added zing (or so it felt) to add a little spring to your step. A perfect beer to enjoy in warm weather as it's nice and light and very persuasive in the idea of having more than one. Good brewery experience from a state I don't frequently delve into for craft beer.

I've not been to the brewery or fermentory as the case may be... But I did try their Watermelon Gose and I believe it was the best beer I ever had. Perfectly salty with just enough watermelon to be noticeable, but not overpowering. Just enough sourness to give it a slight edge.If I could find a case of it I would buy it...

I love sours- and these are hard to beat. The 2023 El Rayo Sour ale was my favorite- followed closely by the La Vida Gose.
