Fatty's Beer Works Brewery • $$

“Nice brewery with good beer, laid back vibe and friendly staff. Good place to go to simply relax and enjoy as my wife and I did on a sunny Sunday afternoon. We tried 4 brews, lazy hazy IPA. Italian brew, Mexican lager and a seasonal ST Paddy day stout. All good“

“Nice little place. Thanks to Jane, they were open, despite planned being closed for the night. Beer was cold and refreshing. Great conversation with the young lady. Despite her only working there once per week, she's certainly knowledgeable about the bar and the beers.“

Munkle Brewing co. Brewery • $$

“We hosted a surprise party for my husband at Munkle and it was the perfect location! Palmer was so helpful and accommodating for our group and it ended up being the perfect day. The patio is amazing and a great spot for a nice day. The beer is fantastic and there were plenty of non-alcoholic options as well. Thank you Palmer and Munkle staff for making my husband's 40th birthday a huge success!“

Bevi Bene Brewing Company Brewery •
1859 Summerville Avenue, Charleston

“We've tried many Charleston breweries but hadn't made it to this one until today. Really cool atmosphere, different from your regular brewery. They also offer a wide selection of beverages including hard kombucha and wine so there's something for everyone. Food truck out front too for food. Would definitely recommend!“

Revelry Brewing Co Brewery • $$
10 Conroy St, Charleston

“This was unexpected to have great sushi and a great brew but that’s exactly what happened. Enjoyed every second here! The interior taproom is small but keeps the space cozy and the atmosphere is very welcoming. The staff went out of their way to be hospitable and friendly the entire time during my visit. There’s a heated covered patio with more room for larger groups and there’s a killer roof top option with a fire pit. Was one of my favorite stops while visiting the area. Cheers!!“

Charles Towne Fermentory Brewery • $
809 Savannah Hwy, Charleston

“Was expecting better beer based on the Untappd reviews. It’s well crafted and the sours were their best beers but the IPAs lack the hop-bomb profile I’ve come to expect being from the Midwest. Cool spot, great service, and love the tasty partnership with Bok Choy Boy (though your clothes will smell like a kitchen when you leave as a result).“

Indigo Reef Brewing Company Brewery • $$
2079 Wambaw Creek Unit 1, Charleston

“If you are looking for a higher quality beer experience, this is a contender. I tried beers straight off their taps, and there aren't many doing this quality of work. Everything I sampled was well above the benchmark. They have something for everyone.“

Cooper River Brewing Company Brewery • $
2201 Mechanic St B, Charleston

“First time here and we were there for the Lobster Truck that was there for the day. Turns out I did not get lobster and got the Nachos from next door at the Brewlab. But this review is for CRB so lets talk about that. They were also having something to do with dogs this day so plenty of mutts everywhere which my wife thought of as a huge bonus. The place was cool and the inside bar lovely. And we are now big fans of the blonde ale with orange flavor. I bought a case and plan on coming back for more. My wife loves it and she is not a huge beer drinker.“

Tradesman Brewing Company Brewery • $
1647 King St Ext, Charleston

“Ok so to be fair our company(Lowcountry Artificial Turf) did the artificial turf for Tradesmen and the owner operators and partners are really cool. They had a reopening recently and I wanted to check it out. I started our journey maybe a little biased because we had done business together. Buuuuuuttt. The place was so much different from when we were working there!!!! TVs and games on everywhere inside and outside!! Beer is awesome ? “but had options for our non beer drinkers”, Live music from a container stage, and a Venezuelan BBQ truck that was fire ?. Definitely Worth checking out this friendly local establishment.“

Frothy Beard Brewing Company Brewery • $
1401 Sam Rittenberg Blvd, Charleston

“I’ve been going to Frothy Beard for a couple of years and the selection of beers has improved. The food selection has increased with burgers and wings that are as good as most pubs. One item to stay away from is the nachos. They would win the worst in Charleston award.“

“We stayed locally for 5 days from out of town. I cannot express the hospitality the bartender gave us and the people who made me and my sister feel at home here. Atmosphere was amazing, food trucks amazing, service amazing. We live in the Midwest but will come back for the community. A must visit.“

Edmund's Oast Brewing Co. Brewery • $$
1505 King St #115, Charleston

“Title: Fantastic Brewery Experience with Delicious Prime Rib and Superb Service!I had the pleasure of dining at Edmunds Oast Brewery in Charleston, SC, and I must say it was a truly delightful experience. Let me start by raving about the mouthwatering prime rib - it was cooked to perfection and simply melted in my mouth. The best side dish hands down were the garlic potatoes; they were flavorful and complemented the prime rib perfectly. And let's not forget about the heavenly carrot cake for dessert - it was the perfect sweet ending to a fantastic meal. While the fried chicken was a bit on the bland side for my taste, I must say that the barbecue sauce provided a burst of flavor that truly impressed me. It added a nice kick to the dish and made up for any lack of seasoning in the chicken itself. What truly stood out during my visit was the exceptional service provided by our waiter. He was attentive, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to ensure that our dining experience was top-notch. His recommendations were spot on, and he made us feel welcomed and well taken care of throughout the evening. In conclusion, if you're looking for a great brewery experience with delicious food and superb service, look no further than Edmunds Oast Brewery. The prime rib, garlic potatoes, and carrot cake are definite must-tries, and don't forget to try the barbecue sauce for a flavor boost. I can't wait to return and enjoy another memorable dining experience at this wonderful establishment. Highly recommended!“

New Realm Brewing Co. Brewery • $$
880 Island Park Dr, Charleston

“Burgers, beers, and brussies! The brussel sprouts are a MUST!!!I can not say enough amazing things about this place. We originally came to explore the pop up events outside, but were intrigued by the restaurant itself. The inside is gorgeous! The staff is on point. Ms Savannah was an amazing server, and helped guide us through the menu. They have a variety of menu items that sounded incredible. I personally had a burger as it comes… their house pickles are incredible! We are not huge beer drinkers but they did have a delicious in house seltzer. There’s something for everyone!“
