“I posted I review some time ago about their chicken tenders, stating they have fallen short of their previous self. I am pushing 50 years old and have only ever posted 1 review in my life. This being the second. I am here to say, THEY ARE BACK! The new and improved tenders are so big, the breading just falls right off. The new GM/Head chef has surpassed the old!“
“I've been coming here for over a decade and usually go for the burger and wings (see original review below). Lately, I've been hooked on the Greek salad with blackened chicken. I asked one of the employees where they get the Greek dressing (Sysco or US Foods is what I was thinking). Come to find out, they make the dressing from scratch every week. Never thought I would write that my favorite Greek salad is in a pub...but there it is. I wonder if they could create Greek wings?Original review: Hands down best pub in Charleston. The burger is magical and the wings sublime. The hand cut fries (ask for them spicy) are the best in town.“
“Great spot with a very simple, limited menu. Reminds me of the old school diners / burger spots you see in movies. We ate there and the service was great, our food runner brought our tray out with a big smile and the food was displayed in a way to make it look its best. For example, the sandwiches are all half wrapped in paper with the other half sticking out. My fish sandwich has the largest part of the fish sticking out and overflowing out of the paper. The burgers are served the same way with the burger and cheese highlighted and facing the eater. The burgers are smashed style so very thin with a little crispiness in some bites which is a nice change of texture. The catfish was fried perfectly and was piping hot when served. We also had a hot dog which was overflowing with toppings and also pretty good. The fries were thin and nicely fried too. Overall a great meal and we'd go back for sure.“
“A wonderful meal and experience. Super hard working folks and amazing food. Great value for money as well.Best scotch egg I've had in a very long time. The Wayub hotdog (wag the dog, condor style) might be the best hotdog I've had - ever. If you get the fries, get them for the table.Cassidy was a brilliant, fun, and an amazing waitress. S-Tier all the way.“
“Great bar in downtown Charleston. Went for lunch. Bartender was friendly and engaged. Nice beer selection. Food was amazing! Burger was crispy exterior but tender, crispy bacon, flavorful sauce. Pork taco was seasoned well and had tons of toppings. Not a fancy place. Casual relaxed vibe.“
“My roommates and I got our nails done around the corner and when we were walking by, we decided to head in… Although they closed 15 minutes prior to us coming in, they were more than happy to serve us! They gave us a free box of donuts to try each flavor… I will definitely be back! everyone was so nice and welcoming. We are so excited to try it again!!! Everything was amazing and fresh ?“
“I started coming here when I was remodeling a house near by. I had the best fried pork chop I’ve ever had and we visited more often than not for lunch for the remainder of the project. Bar food has gone so down hill everywhere and every single time I go here it is just magical (bacon cheese fries with jalapeños tonight). We love seeing Amy but we had mike and Josie behind the bar tonight and we had such a stress relieving late night app, drink, and listened to some karaoke that had people dancing. My glass stayed full and we brought home amazing leftovers. I really think places like this need all the recognition. COME GET THE DANG PORK CHOP IT WILL BRING YOU BACK TO YOUR GRANDMOTHERS KITCHEN.“
“The scallops were cooked to perfection! The shrimp and grits was amazing! And our server was correct, the coconut cake was delicious! It was our first visit, but will not be our last! I can't wait to come again! Thank you for such a great date night!“
“They're the best. Hands down. Always get the cuban and Mac. Each time I come, they're open day or night with smiling faces ready to welcome the next customer. Hot, delicious food right off the flat top. Im surprised they're not slammed whenever I come! Just a cute hidden gem with great food and a nice dining table set outside! The picnic benches are so cute at night lit up by the fairy lights. This place is going to do big things! ♡ thank you randalls.“
“I got the smash burger, hand cut fries, tots and a cookies and cream shake. Everything was delicious. I forgot to request extra pickles but I didn’t need to because there were actually enough☺️The fries were incredible. I would go just for them alone. The service was lovely. I think some of the other reviews are a bit harsh. They can’t really do anything about the size of their restaurant. The soft serve is dairy free. And that’s what causes it to be icy. Again not in their control. I found the prices to be very reasonable. And they have Mr.Pibb. I’ll definitely go back.“
“This was a casual stop and what a pleasant surprise. Both the food (burger) and the service were 10.The prices are affordable.Very nice with a large interior dining room, large bar and two terraces. We will definitely return when we are in the area.Highly recommended.“
“Holy moley y'all. I'm so jealous of this idea. This place is literally next to Music Farm and close to a Sharehouse, Bodega, Charleston Music Hall, etc. Perfect lil spot to guarantee to sell out. I found this place on Yelp (duh) and it had 5 stars. Looked on Google and it also has 5 stars. So naturally we take a trip downtown, park a little ways away due to all the events, and walk right up to a literal window on the side of a building (walk up ordering). Service was friendly. They just sold out of the burgers (so we must go back again) but we got the spicy chicken sandwich and fries. Where has Tullys been all of my life? This chicken sandwich is so damn good. Im also somewhat of a fry snob and usually never go back to a place for the fries....but Tullys I will return for both the fries and the main course. Highly recommend if you want QUALITY fast food!! I woke up this morning thinking about the whole shebang. We knew this would happen so we have one in the fridge so I don't have to wait until they open at 5p!!“
“Best chicken wings in Charleston. I discovered this hidden gem back in September. Every Saturday they have wings as a special. I'm completely addicted to them. With these flavors to choose from: Lemon Pepper, Tradition Buffalo, Teriyaki, and Hot Honey Garlic. Wow they are so good.“
“Really glad I don’t own a restaurant in this city, some of these reviews are so hyper-critical and nitpicky. This place is awesome. As someone who is GF/DF, I can safely eat some of my favorite foods that are typically difficult to find allergen friendly.Have been numerous times, never disappoints. Staff are friendly, music is spot on, and the seating is charming. One of the staff even gave us a homemade, complimentary salsa on our way out. Will continue to go back and recommend this to my fellow locals who support local.“
“This was seriously one of the best burgers I've ever had. I felt like Remy from Ratatouille trying the cheese and the grape in combination for the first time. A-1 pickles, perfectly melted cheese, and sweet but classic onions makes this burger delectable.“
“Excellent food! A group of us ate and we loved everything we got. The poor bar server who took our orders was overworked but still did a fantastic job. The food came out blazingly fast. I recommend the roasted corn chowder and the pulled pork nachos. The building is a former gas station.“
“We were in Charleston for a long weekend and swung in for lunch. We sat outside and were met with great service. The menu had some amazing options, but i settled on the Hangover Burger and a Bloody Mary. I am typically not a fan of smash burgers, but this one was amazing!!!! The egg on it was over the top!!! Highly recommended!!! I added onion rings and was not disappointed! The bloody mary was great too, so we of course did another one!Overall a great experience! Highly recommended!“
“UPDATE: Salad is still amazing. Come here regularly now and it is always consistent and delicious!!Also love the crispy smashed potatoes. One of the best salads of my life. Greek salad add roasted chicken.Everything about this salad was perfect. The thought that went into the topping preparations shows in every bite.I loved the textures of each bite. Each topping was chopped at the perfect size and each topping was the perfect portion adding perfect amount of flavor to the salad, not overpowering anything. The chicken being chopped into the cubes allowed chicken to be in each bite. The pita bread! oh wow was it soft, and it was perfectly warm.I am not a dressing pourer kind of person, so the consistency of the dressing was so so nice for people like me who dip the bite. But I ended up just using the pita in the dressing for each bite.I usually went for it in a wrap with the bit chunks of feta in there but this salad was. so. good.I will continue to come here.Place is clean, friendly service, delicious food, quick service. It is a perfect lunch spot!Give it a go! And to the chef and team there keep up the wonderful work!!Vegetarian options: Tons of vegetarian options, salads, wraps.Kid-friendliness: they have items for children as well.Parking: It can be tight depending on time of day but there is a side lot as well so it works out.Wheelchair accessibility: Tables have removeable chairs. The front door is wheelchair accessible. Plenty of room between tables as well.“
“We stayed locally for 5 days from out of town. I cannot express the hospitality the bartender gave us and the people who made me and my sister feel at home here. Atmosphere was amazing, food trucks amazing, service amazing. We live in the Midwest but will come back for the community. A must visit.“
“Great food, charming staff, and a most welcoming experience for this old man from Montgomery, Alabama. Still a great place, months later. Sadly, they have dropped from the menu am item that I looked Forward to whenever I visited Charleston; the Saturday special, chicken fried steak.Wheelchair accessibility: Well-placed ramps near the door“
“I come to Fams frequently for lunch and the staff is always great. Daria and Zack always make sure my friends and I are taken care of! The food and staff are so good that we drive there all the way from Mount Pleasant! Would recommend this place to anyone in the Lowcountry!“
“Our server Erica was very helpful in helping us make it to our appointment with time to spare! She was very friendly and professional. Great attitude and smile. We ate yummy food and had great service. The young girl at the front desk was very sweet as well!“

“The food is great. Jennifer has strong culinary skills across a verity of food types. You’ll get the best results when you simply sit down and order the daily special. Her personality is “no b******** and her food is top shelf consistently !!!!!!“
“We had a ten person party on Saturday night 4/5 which is one of the busiest days of the year for Charleston. The inside was packed so we grabbed a table outside. The service was outstanding. It’s truly been a while since we’ve had service that great and we weren’t expecting it on this night. The food and drinks came out promptly and as ordered and and the waitress was wonderful. Everything was delicious and we really enjoyed it!! Great job staff!“
