“We adored this place! We accidentally found the downtown Charleston location during our stay there at a close AirBNB! We visited 3 times in our 2.5 days there. Then, we passed by the John’s Island location on our way to Kiawah and decided to make the 25 min drive the next morning for our coffee and pop tart fix! We were greeted upon entry with friendly faces and they were very accommodating.
I tried the black sesame cardamom latte and was pleasantly surprised! I love that their syrups are homemade.
The bonus 🌟s for service comes from the beautiful latte art and the sweet faces that the barista drew on my kid's steamer 'coffees'.
The breakfast sandwich and every quiche we've had here is divine! I love the garlic aoili on the sandwich, something fairly small with a big impact.
I especially love the outdoor area. It's all gated in and perfect for parents to drink coffee while the kids play.

“I stopped into Waflin while walking around downtown Charleston with a few girlfriends, and it ended up being such a fun experience! We were just looking for a quick sweet treat, but were honestly amazed by how much they had to offer!! it really feels like a one-stop shop with so many delicious options to choose from and was also able to pick up some souvenirs to bring back to family!

Each of us ordered something different, from the viral Dubai Chocolate cup, milkshakes and their bubble waffles cones! Every single thing was a hit. You can tell a lot of care goes into both the presentation and the taste.

In an attempt to recreate the intoxicating memories and sensations gained on our visit pairing with commemorating our anniversary, we decided to start the day off here with French / Italian themed breakfast.

A tremendous selsction of pastries coffees and teas were there. True to the cultue a nod to the sophistication that The South of France showcased in their cuisine.

We were so pleased we insisted to meet the chef who turned out to be from that part of France.

It was a fantastic experience being able to have such a mirriored experience here in South Carolina. A lasting moment that began thousands of miles accross the Atlantic“
