“The Washington Cafe is seriously a whole vibe 🤎 My latte was so good, and our treats were amazing too—everything just felt fresh, intentional, and made with care. But what really stood out to me was the atmosphere. The space is beautiful, peaceful, and full of culture. It’s one of those places you walk into and instantly feel at ease. “Best coffee in Charleston! It’s delicious, smooth and wakes you up! Many of the newer shops popping up have very bitter coffee. You can tell the coffee at cooper river is carefully sourced and the owner is very knowledgeable! When we go in, it’s one person making the drinks (owner?) and you can tell its quality over volume. 10/10 recommend!“

“I’m a regular and honestly this last review doesn’t sound like the place I know. It’s pretty common for it to go from empty to busy in a matter of minutes.

I’ve never had anyone be rude to me here, and my drinks have always been solid. If something was wrong, they’ve always been willing to fix it.

Just sharing another perspective since this felt a bit exaggerated.“

“My husband got the mint chocolate chip frappe and LOVED it! And he’s picky! I got the iced dirty chai tea latte with cold foam and I’ve had many before, and it was not great. Tasted like cinnamon watered down milk and didn’t get cold foam at all so wasn’t too thrilled given the price I paid for it.“

“Stopped into Vintage Coffee Cafe during a road trip and it was the perfect little find. The weather was beautiful so we grabbed a table outside and it could not have been a better setting for a relaxed breakfast. Service was good, the coffee was great and the bacon was perfectly crispy. The fruit bowl was generous and fresh. Such a charming spot and a great stop if you are passing through Mount Pleasant. Would absolutely pop in again next time we are in the area.“

“This place is awesome! So few places are open 24/7 now. This is one of the only places around where you can get a coffee late at night, which is great if you're a night owl like me. Staff is super helpful and friendly. Will definitely be back.“

“Loved this little coffee shop out in Mt. Pleasant. It was so inviting and the decor was so cute. I loved that they offered a GF cookie so I had to snag one for my husband who has celiac. They did an excellent job with my cortado and the service was very quick. We sat outside and enjoyed our coffees.“

“Ordered a Grande Salted Caramel Cream Cold Brew. The line wasn’t long, the wait wasn’t long, and was not expensive compared to other Starbucks I’ve been to. The drink came out with 3/4 foam on the top which was only 1/4 cold brew. Pretty lopsided for my taste and not what I would expect with the typical quality control of Starbucks drinks.“

“Stopped in for some quick coffee. The location has limited parking available and limited seating. This is a very small location and is next to an auto shop which appears to utilize many of the nearby spaces. When I arrived to pick up the coffee I ordered there were no available spaces upfront. I had to drive around the back and park behind the auto shop. I would recommend using the drive through if you are near this location. I like enjoying a coffee indoors so I will just utilize one of the larger locations going forward.“

“I go to this Starbucks every morning since it opened- the amazing staff is what sets it apart from other locations. Despite how extraordinarily busy they always seem to be- the staff remains unwaveringly friendly, professional and always prepares my morning coffee quickly. Sky is a delight to see in the morning and always greets me warmly.“

“I’ve had such a lovely experience at the Starbucks on Highway 41, especially because of Skylar. I first met her on her very first day, and when I came back on her second day, she remembered me—which genuinely made me smile.

Skylar is incredibly sweet, warm, and personable. We talked about how she’s attending nursing school at Trident Tech while also working, and her kindness and genuine interest in people already shine through. She made the visit feel less like a quick coffee stop and more like a real human connection.

She’s a wonderful addition to this location, and I hope Starbucks knows what a gem they have in her!“
