“I hosted an afternoon welcome tea for daughter’s wedding. This happened the day before the wedding so you can imagine I had a lot of things going on, but Baba’s make it easy for me.

I worked with Charlotte prior to the event . She went over the menu with me and helped insure I had enough food for the event.

Let me just say it was utterly amazing what Charlotte delivered. The food was not only beautiful but tasted amazing.she even brought little signs with the names of all the food for me to display. We had over 30 people at this event and everyone loved the food!

“We always come here with friends to have the breakfast burrito and then we all head out to Blun Coffee literslly walking distance from Altlyss to warm up. The breakfast burrito is a generous portion and the ingreditents are always fresh. A plus to Atlyss .“

“I never go down this road and I'm glad I did. It's a quaint little shop with a very welcoming atmosphere and a good selection. They have some drinks and prepped food in the fridge that all looked good. There's apparently wine starting at 5pm so I'll have to check that out.

I got a regular hot latte and I was surprised at the temperature. It was hot enough to drink but not burned like a lot of shops tend to do. Possibly the silkiest froth I've found in town. The espresso had a slightly nutty, almost earthy taste? I'm not sure how to feel about it. I think the temp and ability to taste the notes threw me off but I'll definitely try another one.

The chocolate chip banana bread was unreal. Maybe the best I've had.

Also, just over $11 for a 12oz latte and banana bread is a pretty good deal compared to some places. I'll definitely be back.“

“We popped in before a day of Charleston adventure and we were beyond pleased. The shop itself is super adorable and I love the ode to the classic movie Point Break hung in back! We got the Salty Cowboy with almond milk and it was absolute caramel & coconut perfection. I will definitely stop in again when I come back.“

“You have to seat yourself. When we went it was quite busy so we weren’t sure if we’d get ok seating or not. There was a counter for standing space.

Portions were small given the price tag. The peanut milk was strange but good to try.

It was quite loud though and there was a DJ even though it was only 2pm so difficult to talk.

The staff was very attentive to our party and we had to wait for nothing. The menu is top notch and offers different items than nearby establishments. Do yourself a huge favor and taste the grit bowls for starters. The crispness puts the fresh in their fresh fruit. We shall definitely return!“

We didn't love the red velvet as much, it was much drier than we prefer (and honestly I'm a little snobby about red velvet).
