“Great selection and an awesome atmosphere that is good for spending time with friends. The staff is very helpful, and I trust any recommendation they give. Wide selection of classic and unique wines not available in many wine shops. They really know what they are doing and have great connections to wine makers that allows Graft to get bottles that are rare in general but particularly unique in South Carolina.“
“I come here all the time and have nothing good to say about the servers, food, and atmosphere. Sometimes they have live music which is really a plus!!! Located right on king with a great happy hour and great cocktails!!! Rachel was my server/bartender tonight and she did a great job! The cassara is best in town!!!!“
“All is exceptional, food and service and the vibe. It would have been 5 star if the server had not taken my signed check from me and checked on the percentage of tip left on there, while we were still sitting there chatting.By the way the duck and snapper were really good.“
“One of the best dining experiences I have ever had! Menus was beautifully crafted and even prepared substitutions for my wife given her pregnancy. Amazing team that took care of us and got to know us personally in the 2-hour timeframe we were there. At the end, they surprised us with a hand-signed copy of our menu to help us commemorate such a great experience during our baby-moon.“
“I came there to listen to some jazz music with a decent meal. I ended up listening to an outstanding jazz trio. The food there was the biggest surprise. I am genuinely surprised that this restaurant does not have a Michelin star. I can especially recommend their flounder and a fragrant potato soup. Deserts were amazing as well, including mango candy made in-house.“
“First time dining, will not be the last! Entrees were superbly prepared and ample (rabbit en croute, flounder). The accompaniments were imaginative, fresh & very flavor-filled. The wine list complements the menu & is explained by very knowledgeable staff. Desserts will be experienced on our next visit. Looking forward to patio dining as well! Go! You won't be disappointed!“
“Great little neighborhood bar that was within walking distance to my Air BnB. It has a decent beer and wine selection. They have snacks as well. Vivian was friendly and had several suggestions for restaurants in the area. I was here early so no one else was in here but I'm sure it's a popular place. Wednesday nights is open mike night and live music every Friday and Saturday. Come check it out!“
“Friends let me tell you about this experience!!! It was good. This is off the beaten path but is an absolute must! Our appetizer was muscles and fries in coconut and lime broth, as well as sriracha and cornichon ketchup. The flavors were so nice and danced on the tongue.Next up I had the bourride and it didn’t disappoint. Dam! That was tasty! For dessert we had the lava cake and just like everything else it was done correctly and had great flavor that wasn’t overpowered with sugar as I have seen so many times. Our server was Dalton and he was very knowledgeable about the offerings and also the area. He’s a great server and made us feel welcome!Come to this restaurant because you will not leave disappointed. Thanks for the amazing food!!!“
“Amazing experience through and through. From the greeting on the porch, the intimate table setting, amazing service, and even more amazing food. This resteraunt really curates an excellent experience. Once you order everything at the beginning of your meal you can sit back and relax as the dishes roll out perfectly timed. The chefs delivered the dishes themselves and were as enthusiastic to explain them as we were to eat them. Our server was extremely knowledgeable of the menu and helped guide our choices. The menu on their website was definitely different than the one we were handed. Their menu rotates so frequently that their website lags behind, and that's a great thing. Don't let it scare you away from a reservation, but let it excite you for the surprises that await. We sat on the balcony of the back porch where there are only 3 tables and it was very private! This resteraunt is going into our list of required visits every time we visit the city. Absolutely try this place. You won't regret it.“
“Went for the first time today and I’ll now be a regular. The owner is so awesome, and the staff is just as great. Felt like I was at home the second we stepped up to order. Amazing!! And thank you for the ParmaJawn- best sandwich I’ve had in Charleston so far!“
“Renzo is hands down my favorite restaurant in Charleston. It’s first and foremost delicious, but also loud (in the best way) and cozy. In a city that often times takes its food too seriously, Renzo is irreverent and fun.Do yourself a favor and order the Korean fried chicken and a Caesar. It’s the best salad in town and those two items alone make a great meal. But don’t stop there. The pastas sell out fast because they’re good - make earlier reservations and guarantee yourself a selection of menu items. The wood fired pizzas are the perfect mix of crusty edges and soft centers. You get char and chew all on one plate. Finally, never miss a “specials” event, loved red sauce week so much the first night we came back for a second. Feast of the Seven Fishes is better than my husband’s Italian grandmother (but I didn’t tell her that).“
“We love Edison and think it's a hidden secret on James Island. The vibe of the restaurant is wonderful, staff is attentive (Ariel was great) and the 1/2 priced Wine Wednesday seals the deal. Recently visited and enjoyed the Fig & Fromage, Bistro Steak Salad and Steak Frites. Appetizer was delicious and both steaks were cooked to perfection.“
“Wine and Co is an amazing establishment that offers one of the most extensive collections of Wines and Champagnes alike. They are also local family owned and they literally make you feel like FAMILY everytime you come through their doors! They host amazing wine tastings and offer specials! Go check them out and enjoy a glass at their bar!@TheeHolyCityConcierge“
“SIMPLY THE BEST. From the service to the food, everything was a 10 outta 10. Sydni took excellent care of us, and every single dish from the duck to the dumplings was a taste sensation. They were also extremely accommodating for my party of six did everything they could to make sure we were able to have a great experience.Parking: Lots of spots in the paid lot across the street.Kid-friendliness: They were very accommodating of my niece and she LOVED the food.“
“A few girlfriends and I had a wonderful evening at Sermet’s tonight— the food was DIVINE. The ambiance in the courtyard with Keith Miller’s music couldn’t have been better. Our waitress was perfectly attentive and pleasant, too. We’re already planning our next dinner back.Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free accommodations“
“Nice little place. Thanks to Jane, they were open, despite planned being closed for the night. Beer was cold and refreshing. Great conversation with the young lady. Despite her only working there once per week, she's certainly knowledgeable about the bar and the beers.“
“Coziest most lovely wine bar in a former home! More than just a place to grab a drink while waiting for your dinner rez. Worth staying here for dinner. The burger and carbonara were delicious and very affordably priced for downtown! One of my favorite spots.“
“Absolutely the best location. Fantastic staff who did what they could to keep you comfortable despite having the main elevator down for replacement Everyone was friendly The rooftop bar had great cocktails and a fantastic view. Easily in walking distance to the historical sites“
“From exquisite presentation to unparalleled freshness, every bite is a symphony of flavors. The ingredients were fresh, the dining ambiance was intimate and the wine pairings were perfect! The omakase experience is a masterpiece of tradition and innovation, leaving you craving more. A must-visit for oyster and raw fish aficionados seeking luxury and impeccable service. We can’t wait to go back!!“
“Went out with my friends for a bar crawl and ended up at the best taproom I’ve been to in CHS! The service was great, Kyle was friendly and helpful when I wasn’t too sure about what I wanted. Definitely worth giving a try if you’re downtown Charleston.“
“Love this place! I am so jealous they have this wine bar there, as I want one in my town! Their wine is delicious and they have a lot of options I have never heard of. The cheese and meat selection is vast, and amazing. We went back a second time on the day we were leaving, because I loved it so much. Cute decor inside too. Would absolutely recommend.Dietary restrictions: They had a few different cheese choices such as goat, sheep and cow. I can only have goat cheese, so this was great to see as I normally can't have the cheese served at charcuterie places.“
“If I could give this restaurant and their staff 10 stars I would. From the moment we sat down and Joe came over- I knew with how enthusiastic he was about the dishes on special and the talent of their chef Tony in the kitchen that whatever we chose to order… it would be phenomenal, and they delivered. We had the bruschetta with chickpeas as well as the bread with the whipped ricotta and honey and for my meal I thoroughly enjoyed the grouper with the reduced sausage paste over couscous & Hubs loved his chicken parm. I can’t wait to go back!“
“We travel to Charleston once a year and this wine bar is a must for us every time we go, not only is the place extremely cozy but the service is extrodinary. The woman who work there, Simone, Mia,Katie, and Erica make it such a wonderful experience. It wouldnt be the same without them.If you looking for a cozy reasonably priced delicious wine bar this is your place!“
“We got a bean burrito and sat outside in their cute garden dining area. It was no wait and quick. The bean burrito was good, not too big but good size. The prices are good too! It’s a great concept, small quick and 3 options. I love that they offer the bean burrito for those of us that don’t eat meat. Would be cool to offer a Gf option too.“
“We loved everything about Muse. It was the best meal we ate in Charleston. Donnie recommended a cocktail that was delicious, the halibut was amazing, the wine choices were perfect. My husband loved his pasta Bolognese. Next time we are in Charleston we will definitely return to Muse!“
“It's a cute bakery that is also a bar so there is something for everyone. Including Gluten Free options. Although be warned, my Wife got a reaction WHILE eating this, so there is cross contamination. Keep this in mind. I got the carrot cake, it's a 4inch multi layer mini cake and Although you might get sticker shock, this is for two people!“
“Such a cute spot! I love the convenience of a drive through coffee shop with the option of great ambiance inside. The inside is absolutely adorable with plenty of seating in a great 'instagram-able' environment. As long as you can handle a bit of noise at peak times, there are plenty of tables to bring a laptop to for a change of WFH scenery or to meet a friend. They serve coffee and tea/smoothies etc. that you would expect from a coffee shop, and also have a curation of wine! The coffee is strong (a good thing!) and the food options are great. I have not personally been blown away by the food, but have never been disappointed!“
“Such a great idea! So happy there’s an amazing cafe and wine bar out there with cats from shelters to give love to and adopt! The staff are very friendly and nice to talk to, great place overall! We need more places like this around to help cats find their home and to have a space to roam and be loved onin replacement to them being in a small kennel at a animal shelter“
“Love the ambiance at Vintage Lounge. The speakeasy inspired, Architectural Digest award winning design, pairs beautifully with the craft cocktails. Service was attentive and friendly. We didn’t order any bites here but it looked delicious.“
“This is the best rooftop bar in downtown Charleston IMO. My wife and I went there every afternoon on our recent visit to Charleston. I rated the food 4 stars but it is just typical bar food and not the reason you go there anyway. Beware - the drinks are strong!“
“This was one of the best fine dining experiences we've had. The food and service were outstanding and as good as you're likely to find anywhere. The staff were all professional, courteous and efficient. Our server, Stephanie, was most pleasant, engaging, attentive and informed. Watching the seemingly choreographed movement of the staff as they went about their tasks, one had to conclude that this was a well-trained and conscientious group of professionals. For starters we had oysters on the half shell with a mignonette that was perfectly balanced and avoided being overly tart, and the lobster three-ways that was perfectly cooked, light and flavorful. For entrees we both had the rack of lamb cooked exactly to our requested temperatures. The accompaniments of parsnips and English pea puree were delicious. Dessert was the raspberry-hazelnut mousse and the peach sorbet. The mousse was light and delicately flavored and was served with some fresh raspberries. The sorbet was creamy, almost gelato-like, but not at all heavy and had a wonderful peach flavor that was not overly sweet. The presentation of all the offerings was pleasing and appropriate, and artful but not artsy or pretentious. The wine list was extensive with considerable variety. Noise level was moderate but carpeted floor and fabric-covered walls served to mute the talking of fellow diners to background noise rather than competing conversations. Were able to converse in normal tones. The meal was expensive including the customary inflation of prices on the wine list. However, it was not at all out of line with what would be expected at similar fine dining restaurants. In the end the food, service and experience were well worth the price.“
“I love coming to Charleston and it's pretty hard to get a bad meal in this town, but Church & Union is one of my new favorites. Food was amazing. The staff is remarkable. Service was fantastic. Big thank you to our server Bailey! The GM Lawrencia was super nice and gave us some nice tips of places to go afterwards. We will certainly be coming back. A great experience all around.“
“The service was amazing, thanks to our server Nick. He was polite and very attentive. When we asked questions on what to get he had a very clear knowledge of the different parts of the menu. He was very positive. Overall, Nick was an excellent server and gave us a great night. Thank you Nick!“
“We enjoyed an early dinner here today. The Fried Chicken plate was Fabulous! The sweet corn was crisp and sweet as if it was picked fresh out of an Iowa corn field. The collard greens had a nice sweetness to it. The chicken breast was fried perfectly. The mashed potatoes & biscuits took this plate over the top. Enjoyed dinner so much I needed to purchase their cook book to take home to the midwest. Our server Cory was very attentive as well.“
