“Great ambience. We loved this place! Sat at the bar with Amanda, the bar manager. She runs a well oiled machine. Tasty cocktails and food. We wish we found this gem before our last night in Charleston. Tucked inside the Emeline with several sweet nooks around the hotel. Lively and fun.“
“An absolutely amazing experience every time we have dined at Chez Nous. The menu was different every time we went, and every single time the meal was incredible. Even ingredients I typically do not like tasted like heaven. We've dined at Chez Nous many times over the last 18 months and we cannot wait to go again.“
“From the moment we stepped inside Sorelle and were greeted by a dashing Italian host, we knew we were in for the real thing. We sat upstairs in a tastefully decorated room where, even though all seats were filled, we could easily hear one another. Our server Eric was superb: knowledgeable of the menu and beverage menus, friendly, efficient and attentive without being intrusive. I apologize for not taking any photos of the delicious foods, so I will list them and recommend each of them: grilled Sardinian octopus, broccoli Caesar, zucchini Parmigiana, and for entrees: papardelle al coniglio, Sorelle spaghetti, and pillows of gold ricotta tortellini. For dessert: crosstata for two, budino di cioccolata, and 24k olive oil gelato sundae. Check their online menu for descriptions. In sum, I do not remember ever having had before such a delicious meal in a beautiful setting with impeccable service. Your wait for a reservation is worth it.“
“We loved everything about Muse. It was the best meal we ate in Charleston. Donnie recommended a cocktail that was delicious, the halibut was amazing, the wine choices were perfect. My husband loved his pasta Bolognese. Next time we are in Charleston we will definitely return to Muse!“
“If I could give this restaurant and their staff 10 stars I would. From the moment we sat down and Joe came over- I knew with how enthusiastic he was about the dishes on special and the talent of their chef Tony in the kitchen that whatever we chose to order… it would be phenomenal, and they delivered. We had the bruschetta with chickpeas as well as the bread with the whipped ricotta and honey and for my meal I thoroughly enjoyed the grouper with the reduced sausage paste over couscous & Hubs loved his chicken parm. I can’t wait to go back!“
“Renzo is hands down my favorite restaurant in Charleston. It’s first and foremost delicious, but also loud (in the best way) and cozy. In a city that often times takes its food too seriously, Renzo is irreverent and fun.Do yourself a favor and order the Korean fried chicken and a Caesar. It’s the best salad in town and those two items alone make a great meal. But don’t stop there. The pastas sell out fast because they’re good - make earlier reservations and guarantee yourself a selection of menu items. The wood fired pizzas are the perfect mix of crusty edges and soft centers. You get char and chew all on one plate. Finally, never miss a “specials” event, loved red sauce week so much the first night we came back for a second. Feast of the Seven Fishes is better than my husband’s Italian grandmother (but I didn’t tell her that).“
“When we first arrived, we were seated at the bar. Wasn't really happy about that as we had reservations. But... the service was phenomenal, and the food was fantastic! What really caught my eye was the attention to detail. I observed the bar and waite staff polishing the bar, glasses, and making sure everthing was just right. Well worth a second visit!“
“I feel like every year this changes for me, however THIS place is the best sandwich shop in town, hands down. Nestled in a very small and intimate shop where if you're eating in you're rubbing elbows with people at a standing room only high top, this place had even a socially anxious person like myself not mind sharing a counter top with strangers. I still had shame over taking pictures in a public place, but that wore off once I bit into the first of my two sandwiches. My favorite of the two was the Porcini-rubbed prime rib (#2) with horseradish crema and cippolini onions. I would slap most of you for another one of these. Tender, nice kick brought by the horseradish - wonderful. I got in before the rush, and since it's such a tiny space with such a deserved hype behind it, you're most likely gonna have a short wait for your order, but trust me it's worth it.“
“How do you describe great pizza in 4 words? "Pizza A Modo Mio"My wife and I were in town for a convention and stopped into this little gem for some take out. First of all, when you walk in the aromas in that room are amazing. We placed our order (although it was hard to pick just 1 or 2 things, everything looked so dang good).I ordered the pizza (18 inch) with pepperoni & onions. My wife ordered some different slices of pizza and an order of garlic knots. Everyone working behind the counter were pleasant and personable. I got to talk to the owner (Mike) and his manager (Pete). Boy, you could tell these guys were from New York lol. We grabbed our food, paid the cashier and we were off to the hotel to dive in.The pizza was traditional New York style. Thin slices that were full of flavor even with just 2 toppings. The sauce was amazing and the pizza crust...mmmmm. The garlic knots - well....let's just say they didn't last long. Buttery, garlicy and soft. Sooooo goodWhen we are back in town, we will definitely be stopping here again. Do yourself a favor and give these guys a try, you will thank meWheelchair accessibility: Easy in and easy out“
“Being of Italian heritage and from northern New Jersey, I'm very particular about Italian food and everything at Fratello's was outstanding. I felt like I was in my grandmother's kitchen. It's a casual and comfortable atmosphere and our server couldn't have been more helpful or attentive. I highly recommend.“
“The food was absolutely PHENOMENAL. Our bartender was fantastic and made a really tasty espresso martini. The prices were very reasonable and honestly I would’ve paid more for it, considering how delicious it was. It was our first time here and we will definitely be “
“excited to say we finally have REAL italian-american food in charleston! citadel mall food court ambiance not-withstanding; this place is 100000% legit.we had chicken parm over spaghetti and manicotti with bolognese sauce, and they were both absolutely delicious.representative of all of the flavors i grew up eating in my italian-american household, and have been missing so much here. my meal was literally like a trip down memory lane.the pasta (at least in the case of the manicotti shells) was made fresh in house, the sauce is absolutely on point, portions are ridiculously large, prices are reasonable, and the owners super friendly. although we didn't try any, the desserts looked fantastic.. as well as the deep fried calzones.we will be regulars here for sure.“
“My sister and her grown-up children love coming here. They decided to bring me for dinner when I was visiting. They loved many of the dishes, and it seemed that this place is reworking their menu and adding some new items and changing some favorites, which they weren't too pleased with. I ordered the fried artichoke goat cheese appetizer, manicotti, with a meatball add-on. It was all very good!! I would definitely recommend going here for a good, tasty meal.“
“This is the best place to order pizza from in Charleston. I’m from NYC and am a huge pizza lover. Growing up, my family often ordered dinner from a pizzeria that included pizza, pasta, salad, bread, and a chicken dish or Stromboli. FINALLY there’s a great place to do this in Charleston!!! I love that if you order a pasta dish, you also get a salad and a few garlic knots included. The cannolis might be the best in Charleston.“
“And the pizza with the cauliflower crust It was so good crispy like I like it. I enjoyed it the atmosphere was great. I was on that side of town so I stopped in after I went to Staples I will definitely come back. Ate pizza the night before from Caesars It was horrible this pizza was off the chain so good. I will definitely be back in the service was amazing. I would give it a 10 plus so good ??♥️Parking: Parked right up front and walked in awesome ?Kid-friendliness: They were very friendly and I just stopped for something to drink and they talk to me into the great pizza and it was so good with the cauliflower crust I wanted it very crispy and it was delicious. I had just stopped at Staples and just popped in I will definitely be back. This pizza is something to brag about and the service was amazing. So kind and friendly Great atmosphere. That was alone and did not feel that way. I will 100% come back ♥️☮️Wheelchair accessibility: Definitely would not have a problem coming in this place I love the decor and The pizza was delicious ♥️“
“Today we had decided to have lunch at another restaurant in Daniel Island, but we were sent away because our group was too big and they didn't have enough staff (???). We found Orlando's and we were seated immediately. The food was great; our server (I think his name is Scott) was very courteous and went above and beyond to accomodate all of us. We are very pleased with this place, and will definitely come back.“
“My fiancé and I ordered takeout for an at-home date night and we could not be more ecstatic about finding this place. As two transplants from Boston, this was the first time Italian food has made us this happy since we’ve moved to Charleston. We cannot wait to order again!“
“Cozy and happy atmosphere, attentive, friendly service, and the yummiest pizza and salad we've had in a long time. Bacon/bibb salad w/Bleu cheese dressing, then a pizza with Bleu cheese, delicious, tender, tasty beef, and a balsamic glaze. Didn't like the arugula tossed on top, but it was easy to pick off. Tall, fizzy coke with refills. Everything was great.“
“Fantastic vegan food and Fantastic service. Got a couple of pizza slices and some lasagna, all of it was fantastic. The service was super friendly and variety of vegan choices is great. You can tell everything is handmade and they care about making quality food. Will be back again and again.“
“We love Mario's. Sometimes we eat in and it reminds me of any number of Mediterranean eateries. Sometimes we take out. But whatever we choose, the food is always fresh, hot, and delicious! Their salads are great, too!! We highly recommend Mario's!“
“They took us in and made us a gluten free pizza after Henry’s closed their kitchen for the night and we had a great time with the girlies dancing and vibing with the crew and we even left a photo of our friend that’s getting married husband on the wall!!!“
“I love love this place first time here is when they did the Christmas tree lighting an I’ve been going ever since!!! I have taken a pic yet but trust it’s good next time I’ll take a pic but the lamb an chicken over rice burgers an wraps must try I haven’t tried a pizza yet but it’s next thx y’all for good “
“Third time at Coastal Crust on James Island, and can't wait for the fourth. The staff is always friendly, and we haven't had a pie that we did not like. I keep it pretty simple when it comes to pizza, but I enjoy the variety of elevated pizzas that this establishment has. Also tried the wings and was surprised with their crispiness and overall great flavor.“
“Don't sleep on this place. Eaten here several times and each they had the best tasting pizza in town. Both my fiancee and I agree that their White Calzone is the by far one of the best calzones we have ever tasted, and she is from Europe and has been all over to pizza places. “
“One of the best happy hours in the Charleston area. The happy hour bar bites are decent proportions, especially the gnocchi and salads. The toasted raviolis, spinach salad and stuffed mushroom were my favorites. Mushroom was very flavorful. Had 5-6 bar bites and 2 glasses of wine each for $60 total. Service was quite slow which knocked it down a star. Will definitely be back.“
“This little pizzeria has the best food! Every ingredient is so fresh and cooked to perfection. We had the black and bleu salad and margherita pizza. The pizza is big enough to split with 2 people. Each person gets 3 medium size slices. We were very happy with the service we had and it's a nice relaxing place to eat outside in the shade under some oak trees.“
“We could not have asked for more. We sat at the bar and chose the Family Meal, putting the food entirely in the hands of our bartender. We had the best meatballs I have ever tasted, a delicious wood fired pizza with ham and pesto, a pork chop with black garlic sauce and pasta with lamb Raghu. Dessert was delicious tiramisu and raspberry sorbet. We left feeling we had more than a great meal, we had a real experience.“
