“Don't let the casual look of this place fool you. The food and drinks are top notch. Excellent burgers, shepherds pie, house made ranch dressing, and wagyu sliders. The Brussels sprouts with goat cheese are a favorite. Prices are reasonable, and the service is excellent. Treat yourself to the cheese curds with gravy.“

“*Southern vibes only* What a gem for the Charleston area! Jennie-Ann was the definition of southern hospitality, that cinnamon roll is a must (forget your diet, forget your gluten allergy, take extra insulin - it's worth it.) biscuits and gravy made that melt your heart, shrimp and grits perfect cook and amazing flavor. My friend said she could eat the Mediterranean omelette every day of her life. And for extra point they use the McDonald's straws so you get the perfect amount of coke in every sip.🥰🤤🥹“

“First time ever going, the squash casserole is AMAZING. The place is cutesy very southern has a local merch right next to the tables. Think a smaller cracker barrel but way better food. They only have one restroom and the sink is on the toilet lid, something about the environment lol just be warned.“

“Fast service when your very hungry and the food is spot on. Wait staff are very friendly and attentive. I take my family there once a week to catch up with each other and Cabana always facilitates wonderfully.“
“We had a wonderful time with our tasting and dinner during our trip to Charleston! They have some very uniquely flavored liquors. Additionally, Scotty, the bartender, and Chef Kiet were so welcoming, and knowledgeable about the food and drinks. We will definitely be back for future visits!“

“This is an amazing restaurant! The atmosphere and service is top notch and the chef is amazing. We had the pimento chitin start followed by the fried chicken with cheese Mac and collard greens and finished it off with banana pudding. Simple dishes but to prepare them correctly takes great talent, to prepare them the way they did takes great talent. My compliments to the chef!!!“

You gotta give guests water immediately after they are seated. The captain can do this. It's pretty hot in August, so the guests will notice this. Easy thing to fix.
On the plus side, we were at the Dunlin for a special occasion and Linette's recognized it. That was awesome.“

“We adored this place! We accidentally found the downtown Charleston location during our stay there at a close AirBNB! We visited 3 times in our 2.5 days there. Then, we passed by the John’s Island location on our way to Kiawah and decided to make the 25 min drive the next morning for our coffee and pop tart fix! Great coffee, service, pastries, toasts and local drink and food finds!“
