I think TJs idea of good Mexican food must be taco bell. If that's what you're after, don't come here. If however you're after quite possibly the best AUTHENTIC Mexican food, stop here and then stop again and again as I did. I ate here every day for a week straight and switched it up a bit. This place is AMAZING!! Delicious tacos and elotes! And the gentleman behind the counter was super patient and had amazing customer service! Definitely recommend stopping by and trying it out when in the area!Drinks and other snacks are located in the little shop on the same property. It’s cash only at the store and the taco truck is cash, Venmo or cash app!

If you’re thinking about stopping, do it. My wife and I just picked up some food after months of passing by their truck and only wish we had stopped sooner. We tried their quesadilla and beef and chicken tacos, and man did they marinate and season everything beautifully. It’s the closest we’ve had to authentic Mexican food we’ve found in Charleston. We will definitely be making the trip back to John’s Island just for this truck.
