“We really wanted to give this restaurant the benefit of the doubt, but unfortunately, the service fell short. We had to go up to the bar a couple of times to get drinks even though we were seated at a table. Our server didn't seem very familiar with the special and mixed up tables a few times. We were also there for a special occasion, and the overall service felt a little impersonal. After having phenomenal service at another local restaurant recently, it made us feel like the experience here could have been much better. That said, the food was great, and we had absolutely no complaints there!“

“I went here with my cousin while visiting Charleston for the first time. We could not have picked a better place to eat. HIGHLY recommend the dumpwings and the pretzel appetizer as well as the Bubba burger. Incredible amazing food coupled with amazing service. Made us feel right at home. If I visit charleston again, I will be coming back.“

“Was there celebrating my 32nd Birthday. They definitely know how to make a girl feel special. We had a group of about 10 people. Our server (can’t remember her name) was amazing. Usually most restaurants frown upon having a large group to serve. Not these people! They were all amazing!! Couldn’t ask for a better place & way to celebrate my birthday!!“

“My husband and I came in for a short weekend trip from Savannah, GA. We stumbled upon Mac's Place on our second day. The bartenders (Zach and Brian) were/are awesome! We had great conversation with some of the locals. We enjoyed ourselves so much we came back the next day! We will definitely be back to visit. Cheers!“
