“My first time here and the shakes are amazing. I had the salted Carmel pretzel. I don’t live here and was visiting my daughter and she and I came here. The hydration tea was also good and gave me energy that I certainly needed. Lots of flavors to choose from. Suyin was very informative about her products and was very friendly. “Absolutely love this new cafe!!. It is in such a great location on the way to Kiawah Island. To Go options, smoothies, brunch options, coffee, alcohol, picnic options, indoor sit down dining, and outdoor air down dining options. Atmosphere is super fresh, clean, everyone is so friendly and kind. We were a bit nervous stopping at a new place but absolutely fell in love. We also have two little boys and we did not feel uncomfortable or a nuisance. We often times run into that feeling when eating but that was not the case. They also had a refrigerator full of all local business products from local alcohol to local bagels to local ice cream. We will be definitely stopping by next time we go to Kiawah and also we will be bringing all of our local friends. Such a nice warm welcome change when it comes to places to eat in the Kiawah area.“

“We adored this place! We accidentally found the downtown Charleston location during our stay there at a close AirBNB! We visited 3 times in our 2.5 days there. Then, we passed by the John’s Island location on our way to Kiawah and decided to make the 25 min drive the next morning for our coffee and pop tart fix! The location is a little run down on the outside but still looks clean on the inside. A true dont judge a book by its cover location. The smoothies came out smooth and with no icy chunks. “A Rocky Start, But a Solid Recovery

A previous experience with Bomb Bar’s avocado toast was disappointing—it was so salty it was inedible. When I called to share the concern, the initial phone interaction didn’t go well, and I was left feeling unheard.

However, we decided to give them another try and returned today for a fresh order of avocado toast. This time, it was absolutely delicious! We even spoke with Gia, who sincerely apologized for the previous mishap. She explained what went wrong last time, and the team gave us discount cards as a gesture of goodwill.

This experience restored our faith in a great place we love.

“Very good Açaí bowls! I had the Beech Bowl and my wife had the Nutella bowl! Only thing I could see that they could improve upon is the Acai was frozen hard. Maybe they premake the base and then put in the freezer? Anyways after it melted some and softened up it was great!!!“
