“The food was really good. The service was just ok. The restaurant is located in a shopping plaza. We decided to grab dinner because it was next door to a Total Wine Store and I was in town for a friends birthday and wanted to get some wine. I had shrimp fried rice and a sushi roll. It got really busy pretty quickly. We were never offered drink refills and it took a while to get our bill. Other than that I was not mad at the food.“
“Five stars take out service. Listened carefully to all requests and provided great recommendations. All items ordered were accounted for with no issues. Their thai seasoning and recipes are comparable to west coast (CA, WA, OR states) cuisine. Living in the southeast coast, finding an authentic, quality thai restaurants are few and far between. So, if you’re in the area and craving for thai food, then I highly recommend this restaurant. You will not be disappointed. Try their green curry, sooo yummy!“
“This is a "cozy" little restaurant. I love Korean food, so I was very pleasantly surprised to find Korean food on the menu and not just Japanese food (which I also love). However, one must order and pay online by using a QR code on one's phone, and then select items without being able to ask the server about them. The Bulgogi was very delicious, as was the tempura shrimp (perfectly cooked and large pieces), and one side order of kimchee (not really enough) which does NOT come with the meal! And, they no longer serve the Korean "side dishes" which make Korean dining so nice. And, many menu items listed are not available - so why list them at all? It was very loud as well. Still, I cannot wait to return to try their other Korean dishes! I highly recommend Kanpai.“
“It's a nice hipster looking place with indie and alternative music in the background ? the staff is super friendly and you can see that they work as a team and get along ?♂️I tolerate spicy very little and well ? this place has very few menu options and several of them are, guest what? spicy ?️? however the good reviews and photos made us come ? the little I tried from my boyfriend's dish (Pad Kra Pao) it seemed to me that the meat was very well seasoned, and he was fascinated by his dish, the buns we ordered to share were delicious, sweet and soft, both the bun and the meat ?; my greens tasted sooooo good, we were impressed; the Jiao Zi were a surprise, I had never tried that flavor profile and I It seemed very interesting honestly but I also started to burn my mouth our waitress Natalie saw me struggling with water and my ginger beer and brought me ? milk like ❤️ it was the freakin’ sweetest and most considerate gesture on the ? because I knew that it would be spicy and I still took the risk and didn't ask for help but she was watching our table so she noticed it honestly super attentive not only with that but with her whole service during our stay, I am so pleased whenever I get actual quality services, 5 stars for Natalie ⭐️?We were satisfied in our tummies and our hearts ? “Jaings Kitchen is the best on james Island hands down. It used to be called Tokyo Express and it was the only place we would order. They rebranded it to Jaing’s Kitchen but the food is still as good as it has always been, maybe even better now. Food was ready quickly - only gave us 1 fork for 2 people. “We have been getting Banh Mi's takeout from the Spring street location for years and it is always great. Traveling through Mt. P and found this location. Great open atmosphere and bar. The bartender/ manager(?) was super accomodating, knowledgeable and once we understood this location was affiliated with the downtown location we knew whar we were going to get.... Beef curry bahn mi and the sticky wings delivered. Service was great and look forwad to returning when we are on that side of town.“
