Water's Edge in Charleston offers a friendly atmosphere with attentive service and live music. It is known for its great views of kayaks, boats, paddleboarders, birds, and dolphins, creating a lively environment for visitors. The Seafood Paella and Shrimp Linguine are praised for their fresh and flavorful seafood. Many guests also enjoy the Key Lime Pie and Raspberry Cheesecake. The restaurant has a new chef and management, which has improved the food significantly over the past two years. The salmon BLT is now a favorite, with perfectly cooked, juicy salmon and crispy candied bacon, complemented by a tangy caper-lime remoulade. The fish and chips have also been upgraded, with better fries. Visitors note that Amy, their waitress, is extremely attentive and pleasant, and the environment remains interactive and welcoming. The restaurant offers free parking and is a popular spot for celebrations. While parking can be a challenge due to its popularity, many guests find the experience worth it and plan to return for more Southern hospitality.
