“Food definitely is great. Usually got two orders of wings, usually between shrimp fried rice or boneless spare ribs with shrimp fried rice w mushrooms & fried egg. Definitely worth the money for lunch and dinner for sure and maybe (for me) the best Chinese places within a 5 mile radius.“

“Our church ordered food for a dinner. I spoke with Anna first to place the order. Later, I worked with Rachel. Both ladies were friendly and easy to work with. We picked up our food. It was hot and delicious, and there was a generous amount. So many people commented that the food was so good. We were very pleased!“

The vegetables are fresh , the portions are generously sized to share . Not greasy at all and the pricing is very reasonable. Overall a solid choice for Chinese takeout .“

“This is the typical Chinese food you’ll find in the North East. The other places I’ve tried down here all I can taste is sugar but here you actually get some flavor and heat.

We’ve had the Mongolian chicken which I enjoy, the general Tao’s chicken which people seem to really like, and the kung pao chicken also came out nicely.

Portion sizes are generous, prices are good. Service is no nonsense and quick because of it.

“It’s your typical Chinese restaurant. I was sad that they didn’t have Pad Thai, but the sweet and sour chicken was good! My husband loved their General Tso’s. The egg roll was good, it doesn’t taste like what I’m used to. I’m from a different state so I’m used to my usual place I go to. My daughter was upset and the one guy gave her a cup that lights up. Overall, we were happy and would return next time we’re in town.“

“Exactly what Charleston’s been missing. Creative menu- did someone say Burrata? I have tried most things on the menu and truly loved it all, although the Bass is still my #1. So fresh, tender, just melts in your mouth. So much flavor in every bite. Cocktails are innovative and right on point. And don’t sleep on the desserts- Midnight Snack with Fruity Pebbles.. trust me.. 🤤“

I wish you could adjust the level of spice a bit more and I don't know why they took all the good hot peppers out of everything but it is good food. Good dumplings, better than most places. The soups are also really good in flavor without too much msg.

Parking: Parking is super easy. It's in the corner near Harris teeter / the toddy shop, plenty of parking lot spots, never had any trouble.“

Their veggie lo mein is amazing and my husband loves their chicken pad Thai! The lady that runs the counter is the sweetest and they always remember us when we come in!“

They rebranded it to Jaing’s Kitchen but the food is still as good as it has always been, maybe even better now. “It still breaks my heart being originally from Houston that Charleston doesn’t have the dim sum options, but this was one of the good ones. We started out with the Dragon sampler which was very good. I especially enjoyed the vegetable spring rolls. Amazingly fresh. I ordered the dim sum sampler which was very good (so much so that I ordered extra shumai and har gow). My roomie ordered the chicken lo mein which he liked a lot. The waitress was perfectly attentive and the atmosphere was well designed. I will recommend and return.“

“All the low star reviews to me are shocking!! I absolutely love this family owned restaurant. We probably get takeout once a week. Everything is always so delicious, fast, and CHEAP FOR CHARLESTON. Portions are large I always have leftovers which I’m so grateful for. Cannot say enough good things. The chicken hibachi with egg rolls is my go too!“
