“The people are great, always kind to me. The food is always consistent and good quality. The hot and sour soup is exceptional. I don’t see how anyone would be unsatisfied with this place. I’ve been here probably 40 times. It’s good Chinese take out. It’s convenient. And the people are kind. What more could you ask for?“

“I have lived in Mount Pleasant for over three years without any good Chinese takeout and then today I discovered this place the food tasted like home. I wanna say like Home like my favorite Chinese restaurant near my home where I grew up. Dare I say the best Chinese takeout in Mount Pleasant? I would say yes. “This is the typical Chinese food you’ll find in the North East. The other places I’ve tried down here all I can taste is sugar but here you actually get some flavor and heat.

We’ve had the Mongolian chicken which I enjoy, the general Tao’s chicken which people seem to really like, and the kung pao chicken also came out nicely.

Portion sizes are generous, prices are good. Service is no nonsense and quick because of it.

“Our church ordered food for a dinner. I spoke with Anna first to place the order. Later, I worked with Rachel. Both ladies were friendly and easy to work with. We picked up our food. It was hot and delicious, and there was a generous amount. So many people commented that the food was so good. We were very pleased!“

“It’s your typical Chinese restaurant. I was sad that they didn’t have Pad Thai, but the sweet and sour chicken was good! My husband loved their General Tso’s. The egg roll was good, it doesn’t taste like what I’m used to. I’m from a different state so I’m used to my usual place I go to. My daughter was upset and the one guy gave her a cup that lights up. Overall, we were happy and would return next time we’re in town.“

So fresh, tender, just melts in your mouth. So much flavor in every bite. Cocktails are innovative and right on point. “I can't recommend this restaurant enough, out of all the great food I had in Charleston this was my girlfriend and I's favorite place! We shared the pupu platter, pork dumplings, scallion oil noodles, and sweet and sour grouper cheeks. Every dish stood out with distinct, unique flavors, but my favorites were the dry-rubbed spare ribs from the pupu platter and sweet and sour grouper. Very cool dishes I haven't seen anywhere else. We also experienced great service and enjoyed the dark, moody ambiance in the restaurant. Go give them a visit!“

I wish you could adjust the level of spice a bit more and I don't know why they took all the good hot peppers out of everything but it is good food. Good dumplings, better than most places. The soups are also really good in flavor without too much msg.

Parking: Parking is super easy. It's in the corner near Harris teeter / the toddy shop, plenty of parking lot spots, never had any trouble.“

“We had dinner at Dragon Palace on Daniel Island this evening, and it was probably the best Chinese food I’ve had in the Charleston area. Everything came out hot, fresh, and full of flavor. The sesame chicken was excellent, the pork dumplings and crab puffs were delicious, and the soups were a great way to start the meal.

Our waitress, Skyla, did a fantastic job. She was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal.

If you’re looking for great Chinese food around Charleston, I’d definitely recommend giving Dragon Palace a try. We’ll definitely be back!“

“Not exaggerating when I say this place is the best Chinese food I’ve ever had! I got the colonel Tso’s chicken and my wife got the shrimp foo yon that came with this brown sauce and I ended up using it with mine too it was so good. You get more than enough food we had leftovers for both of us. Price was fair and again the food was amazing. The girl that took our order and served our food was very nice and polite and we actually talked for a few after we ate and she told us some local things to check out. Food was so good we wanted to get more to take home but our drive is a little far lol definitely go check this place out but go hungry you will want more I promise!“
