Pu-pu platter here gives you a great variety with wings, rangoons, egg rolls, fried shrimp, fried fish, fried crabstick, chicken teriyaki, and beef teriyaki. It was such a pleasant surprise to see zero "filler" of chicken fingers! Entrees we're fantastic too with a good amount of veggies.“

They were running a special on DoorDash buy one get one free of the following items: egg drop soup, vegetable spring rolls, fried scallops, and fried dumplings as well as steamed dumplings. I purchased all of those except for the steamed dumplings and they were all amazing. I also got chicken mei fun with extra chicken and it was delicious. I also wanted to have some kind of glazed chicken. I would have had to double order if it wasn't for the wonderful person who took my order. I wanted the house rice but my chicken came with pork fried rice. that would have been to much for me so the lady suggested that I get the honey chicken and have the house fried rice on the side. The hibachi was good, moving customers through fairly quickly even though there was a line. The servers were attentive and kept our drinks filled and plates cleared from our table. “This is the default Chinese restaurant for my household due to the location. The food is consistently delicious. I will warn you when you go in to pick it up don't look at anything in the lobby too hard it looks like it hasn't been cleaned in quite a while. The language barrier is sometimes hard to work around but doable. The egg rolls are some of the best in Summerville and the prices are quite reasonable for the amount of food you get.“

Anyway, I placed the order and tracked it once it was picked up (I guess Asia Express uses a third-party for deliveries - in this case it was Uber Eats), only to receive a call when the driver was supposedly very close to my house (I say that because the tracking did NOT indicate that). Anyway, the driver stated she had been in an accident and said I could either come get the food from where she was or call to cancel the order. As soon as we hung up I called the restaurant to let them know, and they knew nothing about it. I gave them the number the driver called from (at their request), but I was told when they called me back they could not reach her. The restaurant was so kind to make the order again and send one of their employees to deliver it to my house. I thought that was a great gesture on their part. “Great Chinese food! The orange chicken is some of the best in the area—crispy, slightly sweet, and spicy, which makes for the perfect combination. They’ll even let you substitute lo mein as a side, and the chicken lo mein is excellent. The wings are delicious, and the boneless spare ribs are a must-try. “I'm leaving this review mainly because I love Hong Kong's steamed and fried dumplings. I moved to Summerville 2 years ago after living in NY my whole life, and this is the only Chinese food restaurant I’ve found in Summerville that makes dumplings the same way they do up north. It seems everywhere else (at least in Summerville) makes pot stickers and calls them dumplings. Not the same at all. If you know you know. I do also enjoy the rest of the food on their menu, but shout out to Hong Kong for making New York style dumplings, something I've greatly missed since moving to Summerville. Also the employees are nice people and have only had good service in all of my experiences.“
