“I knew I might be running behind so I called ahead to check their hours. Miss Maggie answered the phone and assured me that even if I was there a little late that she would see to it that I was able to place an order. I was able to arrive a few minutes before the close and she greeted me as if I were a regular in this store. A friendly smile and a bubbly personality is what I walked into. Thank you Miss Maggie for the delicious meal and a wonderful experience.“

“Leon's is literally in my dreams! My boyfriend and I went there for the first time three years ago. It blew our minds! Affordable, delicious food, and such a fun atmosphere. We returned a couple of times on the same trip. We live in NJ... and set up a trip last year JUST to go to Leons. I am actually scared to post a review because I selfishly want to keep it a secret for my boyfriend and I. Man, if you like chicken and oysters... you cannot go wrong. Damn, now I need to set up another trip. :)“

“The chicken and biscuits from Raise the Roost inside the 7-Eleven on Newtown Road and Providence are, by far, the worst I've ever had. The chicken was either overcooked and dry, with burnt outsides and —likely due to improper fryer temperatures or incorrect timer settings. The coating was thick and cakey, indicating poor preparation. Even the green beans had no seasoning or taste. I recommend not using salt if you decide to season. To top it off, the bathrooms were in horrible and smelly condition. I would've returned the food if I had time. Thumbs down! I took pictures but you cannot upload“

“A small but quality Chick-fil-A on The Citadel campus. This one is located within The Citadel Canteen building beside Mark Clark Hall. No, you do not have to be a cadet to go eat there as it is open to the public. The dining area is always clean, and the food always comes out great. They are usually busy serving cadets, but the line is always served quickly. Overall, it's a great little fast food restaurant.

Parking: Free parking lot just behind the building.“

“Had business at a nearby bank branch. We asked about if there were any nearby food. They said a Subway and Chick Fil A were in the hospital across the street. So to Chick Fil A, we'd never been to one. Line was 25' long but got our order within 4-5 minutes and had food on the table within 2 minutes. Great staff, asked if we had all the condiments we needed. What a WOW. We don't have them within 50 miles of where we live but hopefully there will be soon.“
