“This local restaurant has the absolute best Shrimp and Grits on their Sunday menu. Their fried shrimp is the best I've ever had and their Beedos burger is amazing. With a great variety of sides and homemade desserts, you won't be disappointed with anything you order here. It's on the way to Hunting Island State Park. Doesn't look like much but it's the best restaurant in in my Beaufort by my far. Any of day is a good to day to eat at Beedos and their Sunday menu is extra special.”

“I have been to Harbor lots of times and never stopped but this time I am so happy I did. The staff is very helpful and the food was amazing. Actually went back again before leaving just to try something else. Picked up a bottle of the Cider and the best I have tasted. Take a moment and stop in you will not be disappointed!”

“We ate at The Beach Club upon recommendation from Kate - who also made our reservations for us. It did not disappoint! Our food and service were exceptional. Thanks to Loraine and others. When we found ourselves without a place to eat on Sunday, we stopped at the Beach Club asking about take out. Kate was there again and found a table for us, and we enjoyed another great meal. Both times, we enjoyed conversations with those at nearby tables adding to our dining experience. A group of full-time “Frippers” even invited us to join them at Church on the Beach! Fripp is so friendly.”

“Great lunch; simple hot dogs were Great! Onion rings nice light not too greasy. My wife's chicken ceased salad and son's chicken ceases wrap was Great and the sweet 'tater tots were plentiful (!) and yummy. Server Ben was on top of things and nice recommendation on drinks! Frozen Alligators were yummy and wife's margarita was excellent. We will be back!”

“Beautiful Oceanview and watched dolphins play for long periods of time from our deck.Parked the car and cover the whole island by golf cart the whole week.several pools to enjoy including adult pool (very peaceful)and many beach accesses to explore.Freeing newly hatched sea turtles in the evening. Very good food on island andoff the island. Lots of deer that will even come up to your golf cart.Two beautiful golf courses, Would highly recommend checking this out with friends and family!”

“William Green; the owner of this small home-style "Gullah Cooking cuisine" restaurant, let us (party of 8) in after closing early due to poor weather. The hospitality he greeted us with was as if he had never closed the restaurant. This kind, generous man welcomed us into his local-art-stocked room. Mr. Green was the only worker in the place at this time. He took our order with impeccable accuracy, went back to the kitchen, and prepared the comfort food himself. Surprisingly, he arrived with the food 20 minutes after the order was placed. The stories he told us of his fishing and hunting excursions are spiritual connections I will carry for a lifetime. This man is truly God-sent, and if you're ever in South Carolina, I recommend this place "Gullah Grub", to anyone in the area. He will treat you with upmost respect and courtesy and he will give you his best! God Bless this man and his family!!”

“Joint frequented by locals. Peach perfectly poached sitting on top of goat cheese on toast sprinkled with peppery olive oil. Piquant rocket. Delicious.Lowcountry Captain was flavourful and rice al dente. Nice. Good beer and drinks. Friendly service. A true delight.”

“Upscale atmosphere, comfortable bar, good food. However, they’re using some horrible smelling product to clean or wipe the bag and it’s stinky which is not a nice accompaniment to eating. Ick. The bartenders were very distracted with regulars and the other staff. We had to get their attention at every stage of the meals. The food runners literally dump the plates in front of you and run away as fast as possible. It felt like a diner environment.”

“SOOOO at first hearing the name I was skeptical, but after reading the other reviews, we had to try it out. the food was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING and I would recommend it JUST for that!!!!! Unfortunately I wish I could say the same about the staff.... The restaurant was not really busy at all, but our waitress was not attentive at all, when we first arrived she took our drink order it took about 10 minutes to get 3 sweet teas, we received our appetizers and our drinks were about gone and she did not ask if we wanted refills, we received our meals and by this time drinks had been gone still no refills, I had to stop her and ask for refills. At the same time there was another table the young lady was taking care of that was full of customers of her age that had no issues. But once again the food was great!!!”
