“My family went here for a late lunch Sunday. we had a salad with turkey, smoked chicken and ribs. So little bit of everything I would say. Food was good, the chicken was juicy and the ribs were tender. The banana pudding was just ok but not bad if you know what I mean. So the cons and none of it really horrible there was a hypodermic needle on the sidewalk. That was very bad sign of the times unfortunately. Also, I get wanting to be comfortable at work but one of the staff looked as if she rolled right out of bed for work and didn’t bother to wear a bra. I am sorry but if you are a bit more blessed in that area at least put on a tank top under your thin shirt because the nips were on full display. My husband and my teen son both noticed. It was just a bit much. So as I said nothing too horrible and nothing to do with the food as it was good, serving size was decent for the price.“

I felt like I was a big inconvenience in her day because I was the only one at my table and I didn't have anymore people with me. I really enjoyed the food. I got a brisket sandwich and fries. “I ordered the beef hash over rice with fried okra, macaroni pie, and hush puppies. The beef hash has a really good flavor. It is a little on the salty side, but I still thought it was really good. I would liked to have had more rice to go with it. They put way more hash than rice. The macaroni pie was so good! The fried okra was good and so were the hush puppies. “Food taste as good as it did 30+ years ago. This was my first time eating here in 15 + years, and it had the same service and taste as it did as it did when I was with my grandparents. It brought back a lot of memories. Still an amazing Fish Camp as we have always called it! You have to try the onion rings! They are awesome!! And the seafood platter can feed two people!! Easily!!Dietary restrictions: I mean it is a Fish Camp. There are salad and grilled options. But lets be honest... we go to get amazing fried seafood and hush puppies, not watch our weight. “We reserved the patio for my daughter's 21st birthday and I just want to say it was amazing. The service was great. We never were without drinks, the servers were always available and they always had a smile on their face. The food was fantastic. Even with a party that size we didnt have a long wait for our food. “We visited in the afternoon and it had a nice relaxing atmosphere. The cashier was polite and helpful.I was pleased with the serving for my BBQ sandwich and enjoyed the potatoe salad! The pulled chicken was a little more chopped than shredded and would have been better with a larger serving size, but taste was great. Overall it was clean, friendly BBQ place that we will visit again to try more.“
