Ever since Medici closed we've been looking for an italian restaurant and I believe we've found our new go-to.Vegetarian options: Like most italian restaurants, you can modify all the pastas and pizzas to be without meat. “No one tops Ruggeri's Been coming to Ruggeri's original since the 80's soory to see Dallas close but new location in Colleyville is really nice for date night and the food is amazing. Highly recommend especially now that weather is cooling and fires are blazing...AAA+++“

“Chef Point was the perfect place for my birthday dinner. We made reservations ahead of time and our numbers went a over the initial count (20 people). They were very accommodating to the extra numbers we hadn't accounted for. We sat on the patio and was the only party out there, which was perfect since we had small children that could play around without bothering other guest. Our server was transparent about them being short staffed, however we never felt a gap in service at all. The food was delicious! I had fried green tomatoes and salmon pisatta, both were great! Everyone had a wonderful time and enjoyed the atmosphere. I now understand why one of the couples there says Chef Point is their favorite restaurant. We will be back for sure!“

“We've dined at Lovaria several times. This time it was for our anniversary. The food and service were outstanding as always. We sat inside this time, and the noise level was just right so we could talk without feeling like being overheard. The outside patio is very nice as well. And they graciously comped dessert to wish us a happy anniversary.“

“Why didn't we try this place sooner!? We've been eating low-quality delivery pizza for way too long, but NO MORE! We placed an online order for a pepperoni pizza, buffalo chicken pizza, and a chicken parmesan entree. Delivery was SUPER fast (especially for a Friday night) and all the food arrived hot and tasted DELICIOUS! I think we found our new pizza joint!“

“I decided to treat my friend to lunch. I gave her two other choices such as, Subway or Jack in the box. She chose Big Joe's! I am so glad she did! The prices were good, food was delicious and the ambiance was peaceful! As, I walked it, it was like a breathe of fresh air. The inside was clean and looked a lot better than the outside! Lol. The Red and White Checkered Table Cloths were sending Italian vibes and the artificial Flowers in the center of the Restaurant were the perfect touch to create a fresh new look because, Big Joe's used to be a Whataburger back in the day. I wasn't sure what to order and the family ahead me didn't either. However, the Young Blonde Order taker with glowing Blue eyes was patient w everybody. He resembled, the actor, Tanner Buchanan who played the Character Robby in the Netflix series Cobra Kai. Ok, so back to the review. Lol. I opted for the Lasagna for $8.99. My friend got the Baked Ziti for $8.99 which included a side of Bread. My friend said, it was a little to crispy but, she said, it's ok. I agreed w her. My Lasagna was Meaty and Cheesey! Lol. It was piping hot too. The Tomato Meat Sauce was tasty with a few small meatballs.The Lasagna Sheets were baked just right, nice and soft. It was topped w a lot of yummy goey Cheeses. A Bus Boy dressed in White dropped our Silverware and Parmesan Cheese off at our table. Even though it was not busy in the Restaurant, he was a great addition to Big Joe's. Some how his presence made me feel special. I guess, it was the nostalgia of his uniform? Well, I think, I covered everything. Lol. If your ever in Haltom City. Check out Big Joe's and grab some Italian food. I'm sure you will like it!“

“They have this mastered! Customer service and excellent in taste and presentation of food! The portions are large and the prices are fair. Plus you get to bring your own wine! I am vegan so they made me whole wheat rigatoni. The pasta texture was perfect and the flavor of the San Marzano tomato sauce was out of this world! My husband had chicken Valdostano Our son had seafood over pasta. We all were very pleased also their salads are humongous so be prepared for that as well as they are delicious and creative! “Loved the dinner we had here. Relaxed, family atmosphere. All the staff was very attentive, they all checked on us multiple times. Food was really good. I got the shrimp risotto which was one of the specials that night and it had a little spice which was unexpected but really good. My husband got the lasagna and wings for the appetizer. Next to that is a small Antipasto “Bar” that you can order from and it will be dished up by your server. We were lucky enough to have Arturo as our waiter and he was amazing.
