There's no need for negotiation, as they offer incredibly competitive prices right from the start. Truly a top-choice for quality and affordability combined. They also offer service via text, which is awesome. The number is 832-479-2969“

“Foreign Grill is located inside the Conservatory Food Hall and serves great Ukranian, Georgian, Uzbekistan food! I wasnt familar with the cuisine, but there's a colorful menu book with photos at the counter. The staff were also very helpful with making recommendations. We ordered the borscht and Tres Carnes Kebab plate and both were delicious! The kompot fruit juice was also really good and refreshing.Regarding parking, it seems like people park in the Bank of America lot across the street in the evening if the main lot is full. There's also street parking available (a couple blocks south of Tuam is free after 6pm I believe).“

“The food at this establishment is delicious. I can't remember ever having a dish that was bad. A modern and art deco setting offers an extensive menu of Cantonese cuisine. The Drunken Noodles, all prawn dishes, shaking chicken, cucumber smash, red oil dumplings, shaken beef, mopo tofu, and squid ink Freud rice are good and have an earthy flavor. The establishment in Chinatown will not disappoint you. All the restaurants, coffee shops, and other establishments in this shopping strip are owned by the same person. Parking at night can be challenging and you may have to park on the street. Extra security for your vehicles is provided by security patrols in the evenings. The service is excellent and quick. If they're not too busy, they'll pack your leftover food.Vegetarian options: Ask as they can make a dish vegetarian.Dietary restrictions: Ask and they will comply.Parking: Parking in the evenings may be difficult, you may have to park on the street.Wheelchair accessibility: They have a few ramps to all establishments.“

“7 Friday Sushi is truly a hidden gem that my family and I stumbled upon. Despite being nestled away, the warmth of the owner's hospitality and the exceptional quality of their sushi quickly made it a favorite haunt for us. This level of flexibility ensures that each visit is a unique culinary adventure.Beyond sushi, their menu offers delightful surprises like the irresistible Shaggy Dog Bao, which has become a cherished favorite among my family members. It's evident that the owner, deeply rooted in Cypress, takes pride in his establishment. His passion for providing exceptional food and service resonates throughout the restaurant. Coupled with the friendly and efficient staff, the ambiance is welcoming and vibrant. Moreover, 7 Friday Sushi offers incredible value for the quality they deliver. This establishment proves that exceptional sushi doesn't have to come with an exorbitant price tag.For those in search of a remarkable sushi experience, coupled with personalized service and a sense of community, I wholeheartedly recommend 7 Friday Sushi. “Emdy is one of the best waitresses! She had an answer to every question we asked. The cocktails are amazing and the patio is a vibe. I'm vegan, so nearly everything that is not marked as Keto can be modified to be vegan. I had 1 veggie taco and it was probably the best taco of my life. I also ordered the chicken masala pasta sub vegetables which was delicious. My boyfriend got a decaf coffee at the end of the night and it came with a cute coconut pastry!“

“You definitely get your money’s worth here when it comes to the quantity of food.My favorite is the fusion fries, so if you go here, definitely try that out.I recently tried the spicy korean chicken zoodles (zucchini as noodles), and while it was satisfying at the beginning, the dish ended being quite watery in the end which was a little unexpected.“

“During my recent visit to the restaurant, I had Cierra as my server. I have received good service at restaurants in the past, but Cierra‘s attention to detail, approachable, demeanor, and bubbling charisma both put me at ease and brightened my day. Although she was really busy at the time, she made sure that I had everything that I needed…with a smile on her face. The food here is amazing, but Cierra’s exceptional customer service, which is the gold standard by the way, will be the reason that for my next visit and I’ll definitely be requesting to sit in her section every time.“

“Service and sushi were great! I think maybe the grease that was used for the salt and pepper tofu may have been old because it didn’t taste fresh. We had the boat and it was so good that my non vegan sons were singing praises! Overall a great first time experience.“

“Delicious Sichuan spicy foods. Only bad thing was we went in on Saturday for lunch and they only had sze chuan dumplings. I wanted pan fried and soup dumplings and they didn't have any. The only appetizer they had were the sze chuan dumplings. Singapore noodles were tasty. Mapo tofu was great. Garlic eggplant was delicious. Spicy crispy chicken was good but I still like Mala Sichuan better. I highly recommend this place.“

“Ordering their brisket and a side of coconut rice is a must! They have plenty of choices on their menu to accommodate a variety of palates. I've tried several items on their menu and have not been disappointed. You order and pay at the bar, and it's generally open seating unless it's packed. The wait isn't too bad and they have a nice outdoor area where you can sit and wait.Parking: They have a small free parking lot. There is a paid parking lot across the street, free street parking, and valet options.“

“The food was absolutely amazing! My boyfriend and I got the all you can eat menu. We got the second tier. Let me just say it was worth every penny. The fact that you can roast marshmallows for smores is such a brilliant idea. We will definitely be back again soon. My only critique was that the server didn't notify us that we had 20 minutes left for the last call for food. Other than that, amazing experience.“

“Quick, fast, and delicious! We have had Pei Wei for years and are new to this area and were happy to see one nearby. I'd not seen a takeaway and delivery only concept for this restaurant before. Josh, the GM, came out right as we walked in and even took a couple minutes to help me find a menu item that fit my diet. Food was ready in minutes while we waited in the lobby. If you are nearby or passing through this is a nice stop for some quick Asian food. ?“

“It's a great place if you're craving Asian-style fried foods. The fried foods here are extra crispy and look very tempting. I was here in 2021 and did not post a review then. Therefore, I came back and ordered a Combo D from Krazy, which provides a sample of most of their fried items. It takes awhile before you receive your meal because they start frying the stuff after you place your order. Surprisingly, my favorite item was their fried fish. It is crispy on the ouside and tender on the inside. The pork katsu was okay but more toward the dry side. I would pass on the fried shrimp next time because it's just too dry. Cheese Katsu, although it looks very tempting, it is just average. I would personally recommend the king pork katsu to everyone. Due to the large portion of the pork, it is more moist after deep frying. I hope they give more rice than just a small cup. Overall, it's a good restaurant with a clean environment.“

“I got the Amboy burger and hand cut fries. The burger had interesting soft white bun (slightlyyyy sweet)- while it was unique and decent, I prefer a more toasted (?) bun. The patty was quite thick so while the burger looked deceptively small, it was quite big and justified the price. I didn't love the patty consistency but the burger overall tasted good, although nothing inherently unique or Filipino. The fries were pretty underwhelming- next time I would try their loaded fries.“

“I love the food! It was delicious and flavorful. I ordered a little bit of everything to try. I love the salad dressing. It was very refreshing and the fries was well seasoned. The chicken sandwich was crunchy and crispy. The hamburger was good. I didn't care much for the dessert. Maybe if it was straight out of the fryer it would be good but it was just dough to me. Overall, I enjoyed everything except the dessert. I will be back for the burgers.“

“When we have a meal so perfect that we want to give praise to the establishment, especially when I get treated by my sugar mommy, just to spoil ourselves and celebrate life sometimes. Full disclosure, the generous manager Jessie sent out 2 of her favorite dishes, but I would have reported our wonderful lunch here anyways. Whenever Vanessa has a craving for anything, I simply get that need fulfilled. She wanted some good quality sushi this weekend, so we settled for Soma Sushi among a few options we had in mind. Hoping to see the talented and super nice Chef Omi Higa, we opted for the seating at the Sushi Bar. My choice is easy, the usual Chirashi Sushi, 8 kinds of premium Sashimi over a bed of Sushi Rice with deliciously Pickled Vegetables. Vanessa has a more refined and discrete taste, so she ordered Japanese Uni Sea Urchin, Salmon, O-Toro Fatty Tuna, Tobiko Flying Fish Roe, Spider Handroll, and the trusty old California Roll. The fish is top-notch, naturally flavorful, fresh, and has that faint fatty seafood fragrance that I love; I cannot ask for better quality. I can elaborate with more empty words, but when the ingredients are premium quality and served with well-seasoned and temperate Sushi Rice, there should be as little extra interference as possible. All the Nigiri and Sashimi we had are at max enjoyment level for us. Chef Omi Higa, even though was shopping for his ingredients away from the restaurant, went out of his way to notify the manager Jessie, and she gracefully introduced herself and said hi to us. As we were slowly enjoying our food, and I mean, I really take my time taking deliberate bites, Jessie sent out her favorite dish for us to try. The Madai Tiradito is composed of Sea Bream Sashimi, Orange, Yuzu, Olive Oil, Black Sea Salt, Yuzu Tobiko, Kaiware, Red Onion, Wasabi Yuzu, Serrano, Micro Rainbow Mix, all beautifully plated as shown. Can you imagine the dance of flavors and textures waltzing in your taste palate? Peter or Pedro from Guatamala who took great care of us behind the Sushi Bar, prepared this extraordinary dish for us too. We get to know each other and talk about food and travel, which makes our dining experience so much more hospitable. Just when we were finally attempting the finish all our food, a second surprise arrived. Jessie promised it's the last one because she has to let us try their best seller of the house, Japanese Wagyu Shumai. Don't you just love the sound of that? Premium Wagyu Beef stuffed in a Shumai Dumpling, topped with Truffle Ponzu and Garlic Crunch, can you understand now why this is the top-selling item? We all know the quality and taste of food are always impeccable at Soma Sushi, in addition, the people, management and staffs all handily contribute to elevating an otherwise already perfect lunch. We just hope to can make it here more often.“

“I love oh my Gogi so much. Me and my boyfriend have this kind of ritual every pay day we go after work and pick up some omg fries, the quesadillas, and some dumplings because nothing beats the flavor. Whatever we don’t finish we pop in the air fryer the next morning and it’s good as new. We used to go to the food truck next to yo-yo’s all the time, and then they opened the Westheimer galleria restaurant. It’s closer to us so we like to go there and pick it up and take home for a night in.Parking: There’s plenty of parking, especially if you’re going in the afternoon. Usually the 30 minute spots are free right in front of Oh My Gogi so it’s perfect for a to-go order.“

“Toyori is an interesting fusion restaurant which serves both Japanese ramen and Taiwanese sizzling steak. While I cannot speak to the Japanese ramen, I say that their signature rib-eye steak was some of the best I've ever had. What made it stand out:1. The sauce - I typically go for the classic black pepper sauce but the combination of the black pepper sauce with the mushroom and tomato sauce was too intriguing to pass up. I was a big fan of the sauce (even though I'm not the biggest fan of tomatoes in general).2. The steak was a perfect medium as ordered. I find that I don't usually pay much attention to how the steaks on these sizzling plates are cooked since they're usually pretty thin but Toyori's steak was not only cooked perfectly but was tasty as well.3. Portion size for the sizzling steak was good; I certainly was not hungry after eating everything.I will also note that the service was fantastic for our party of seven, and their physical menus have large beautiful pictures of the food. All in all, I will definitely be back for the sizzling steak (and maybe the ramen) when I'm back in Houston.“

“Authentic Vietnamese restaurant with a clean and cool interior decor. The waitress offered super fast service and the food was delicious. My lemon grass beef bun was grilled and flavorful. My dining partner had the spring rolls and traditional beef pho, both were so good! We had other friends who also joined us later and order the mignon beef, grilled chicken with shrimp rice plate, won ton noodle soup, and the stir fry noodles. None of the dishes disappoint. A huge selection of drinks including milk tea and juice. Since they are not a Chinese restaurant, I opt for the Vietnamese fresh lemon lime juice which was perfect for catching my vitamin Cs on a cold rainy day in Houston!“

“Came in for some pho just to realize they do not have any other type of beef except steak. So I went for chicken vermacilli instead. The chicken was really delicious and the meal overall was delicious. Ordered spring roll as well, and it comes with 6 pieces. No sriracha, just hot sauce. The food is solid for sure. It's somewhat aesthetic and calming inside. One thing that made me uncomfortable was the older lady. She kept walking around the dining area multiple times. It was so weird. I am not sure what she was doing but it was odd seeing her walking around when there were no people aside from me and the couple. It's quite cold in there. Prices are a bit high.“

We went for the first time after seeing all the pics of the deliciousness and I can tell you - it was not disappointing at all! We tried Beef Mongolian, Chicken fried rice, Sticky Korean Wings, and the Brisket Beef Bahn Mi. Everything was unique and delicious in it’s own right. Beef Mongolian was exquisite. Chicken fried rice was soft and savory. Chicken Wings were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside with delicious flavoring. THE CHAMPION for us was that Brisket Bahn Mi sandwich…. Where to begin on such a savory sandwich - the flavors blended beautifully and the spices were perfect. This IS something that EVERYONE needs to try!! For the drinks - we had the Sour Patch, Magical Unicorn, Gucci Mango, and Passionate Nimboo. They were refreshing and each had it’s own unique flavors.“

“JJ Garden was just about a decent experience and it looks nicer from the outside. When you walk inside, you walk straight through the majority of the tables on the way to the register. This isn't necessarily a bad thing but it does inhibit the space of others eating. The menu is put well together and is priced appropriately and so I'll award credit for that. I ordered the Tangy and Spicy Chicken, and it was that, but the taste was faint and at least to me it was not spicy. With that entrée comes both a soup and a egg roll or spring roll. I got the hot and sour soup and a spring roll. The soup was not watery but it also wasn't the most flavorful, and so as a result I'll dub it a "solid" soup. The spring roll was better than the soup and I would also describe it as solid, but it's also very basic and I could call it mass produced. In regards to the food I might be a bit biased, but this is still just an opinion. The last note I'll add is on the service. The food came out within 10ish minutes of being order and was hot.All and all, I'd recommend this only to those residing near it and those looking for a quick and cheap lunch meal.“

“Pho Luc Lac checks off most of the boxes I want in an eatery: divey, delicious, affordable, and somewhat off the beaten path. As part of a sleepy strip mall in Spring Branch near a bunch of schools, it's easy to miss and is rarely ever busy. In terms of a quality Vietnamese neighborhood eatery, it's up there and would certainly be a frequent destination if I was in the area more often. There is nothing fancy about this place. It evokes a certain kind of old school vibe, one that hasn't changed since the 90s with office style fluorescent lighting, minimal decor, grimy floors, and not so fabulous bathrooms. Despite not being the most spacious, they've done a good job with cramming a solid number of tables in here for all party sizes. It's rarely crowded and very low key for the most part. Service is good for the most part, but keep the expectations low. Pho-wise, the broth is very good. There's a lot of deep flavor in there, yet it's not as obscure as other beefy broths I've seen in the city. For the dac biet, there were a good variety of meat cuts from fatty to lean, and everything in between. (#1) I also enjoyed their bun thit nuong cha gio, which was hearty with a highlight worthy pile of crispy egg rolls. I haven't officially confirmed this, but I sense they're Central Vietnamese (#2) given that they offer banh beo (mini steamed rice cakes), banh bo lot (shrimp + tapioca dumplings), my quang (central turmeric noodle), banh canh (Vietnamese style udon), along with everyone's perennial fave: bun bo hue. While I haven't indulged in most of their smoothies, I can say that their version of Vietnamese iced coffee is strong ... in the best way. There's actually a lot of items I still have yet to try, so there's plenty of reason for me to keep coming back. ___________ (#1) Tendon joke, sorry. (#2) Nguoi Hue much?“

“UPDATE:We have now been back two times since our poor post-pandemic experience. We had a wonderful experience and delicious, hot, fresh food each time. Everyone there has been kind and thoughtful. I am so happy they found their way back, and I highly recommend them to everyone.PREVIOUS REVIEW:Loving Hut used to be my favorite restaurant in Houston. The server was super friendly and knowledgeable, the food was delicious, the portions were large enough to share, and the restaurant had a nice vibe. When we went yesterday for lunch, though, it wasn’t at all what it was pre-covid. They did not have half the dishes we ordered, the portion sizes were greatly reduced, they forgot one of our orders and then claimed we never ordered it. When I showed proof of the order, they refunded our money, but did not explain or apologize for the error. It seems they now only carry pre-made food items like breaded soy patties, french fries, etc. Those who had the Happy Crispy Burger said it was tasty, but whatever they used in the Spicy Cha Cha was just fried and flavorless. The Lovepucinos were very good. Sadly, I can no longer recommend Loving Hut in Houston.“
