One of my favorite coffee shops on Houston - Badolina serves up both great coffee and pastries. Their outdoor area is a cute place to enjoy a weekend afternoon when it’s nice out.They do have internet but it’s not a my go to for studying due to busy foot traffic, limited wall sockets for charging, and limited indoor seating. (5 tables).
nice, cozy, chill environment. perfect setup to get some work done on a sunny day for a while with coffee, and a pastry. has both outdoor and indoor seating arrangements. vibes are immaculate on a sunny day.

Without a doubt the best coffee shop / bakery I've been to in the US. I know that sounds like hyperbole, but it's true. The coffee is great, the bread (seeded sourdough, anyone?) is delicious, and the location, right in the heart of Rice Village, is super convenient. However, what sets Badolina apart from me is the kindness and friendliness of the staff there. I go in a couple of times a week and there's ALWAYS a nice smile for me and a welcoming hello.
