I recommend the homemade potato salad (they make their own mayo!) and if I wasn't so stuffed (because their sandwiches are HUGE) I would have tried the cream cheese jalapeno poppers and deviled eggs! They offer samples to ensure you enjoy what you eat, the staff is so friendly, and for desert: cookies and fudge balls! Thank you!“

“This place was so neat. It totally took me back to when I was about 10:12 years old at my aunt's house in a very small town. So serene the TV playing in the background. The food just like my aunt would cook it. Just such a great feeling to just sit there.. With ivy plants everywhere in the restaurant, an old magazines that I hadn't seen since I was in my 20s and in my teens really old pictures of movie stars like Lucille Ball.Just a beautiful feeling reminded me so much of my youth.“

“Discovered this little place several years ago when rebuilding our house after the COE send 5' of black water into our home. It was hot, no AC and no bathroom as the house had been gutted. The deli had also flooded but rebuilt quickly so they could feed their area neighbors. The food is fresh, made in front of you. They have beautiful wraps, sandwiches and salads. This litttle place survived a flood and covid 19. You have to credit them with not giving up, as many area restaurants shuttered. Thank you.“

“I work in the Greenway area and just realized this deli existed! I had a personalized club sandwich on pita bread. It was like having a club sandwich and a gyro all at the same time...life changing!! So delicious. The chicken tortilla soup is amazing too! Perfectly seasoned, not too thick or thin. The owner and the staff are all incredibly friendly. I noticed they remembered a few people who must be regulars, which was impressive in such a busy area. I have started eating at the deli almost everyday. I have tried the super original poor buy, the Rueben, the spaghett, the lasagna, and a few others, but my absolute favorite has been the Muffaletta. “I chose the 1/4 pound burger all the way with bacon and cheese. The bun is not a standard white bread, it was better! Vegetables are packed on in a good serving. Fries are hot even after you finish your burger. They offer seasoning you can sprinkle on the fries and or burger yourself.“

When I went back, they remade my sandwich and was apologetic. They were SO sweet and kind to me, and I really appreciate that. I am so grateful for great customer service and kindness.
