“I was thinking for about a week of where to go for Dim Sum. There are many places that offer it around the city. But one restaurant had me curious to try: HK Dim Sum. I would often overlook it since it is in a very busy plaza and was lucky dine in during a slower time in the day. I went with what I would typically order on a menu. The fried taro puffs, Chinese broccoli with oyster sauce, har gow, siu mai, custard buns and egg tarts. My cousin added on the steam shrimp rice noodle as well. Of course I had to get some Jasmine green tea too. Very flavorful all around and I was very lucky to have ordered the last egg tarts for the day. I was please with everything but definitely remembered my lesson to not over order. I am ashamed to find out I was always walking past HK Dim Sum when it is a solid choice and just enough seats all around not to feel too crowded. I will definitely keep HK Dim Sum on my mind if I am in a search for this cuisine. The staff were nice as well and prices are reasonable too.“

“We love the original location, so it only made sense that we had to try this new Heights location with an updated menu. We came with some friends which gave us the opportunity to try new dishes and our tried and true favorites. Chili Oil Dumplings (aka Hot & Spicy Dumplings): 5/5 - delicious as always!! For those that are spice adverse, you'll enjoy these tasty dumplings as they are not too spicy. Biang Biang Noodles: 5/5 - slightly bigger portion size (which is adequately reflected in the price) Sichuan Style Biang Noodle: 4/5 - Family style platter, delicious, beware accidentally eating a pepper! Sichuan Lamb Flat Noodle: 3/5 - Family style platter. Good dish, but the group tended to prefer the other Sichuan noodle dish. Garlic Pork: 4.5/4 - Family style dish. Full of flavor, absolutely delicious....I'm kicking myself for not taking a picture to show you this beautiful dish. Honey Ginger Tea: 5/5 - This was sooo much better than what we've had the last few times at the original restaurant, which was watered down and not flavorful. This location returned this delicious tea to it's former glory and I can't wait to go back and drink it again! There was not a single dish we did not like. Nothing was overly spicy, in fact, I'd argue it was a very nice level of spice in each dish. As this location is still new, it was not crowded at all and the inside is quite nice. It feels a little more upscale and modern compared to it's original location, but not pretentious and still comfortable to be in. The servers work at both locations - if you don't know what to get, they have not steered us wrong yet! Friendly and attentive, great service. If you haven't tried out Hi Trendy Dumpling before, this is your sign to go eat here. You won't regret it!!“

“I’ve been to Taste of Mulan a few times and each time the food and the service exceeds my expectations. The people here are very friendly and their dim sum is better than the dim sum I’ve tried in China town. They have many options of dumplings which are available all day. I highly recommend this place!“

“Super good food. Everything we picked was pretty delicious. The atmosphere feels like any typical mid/low end spot in Chinatown - when we went for lunch it was fairly empty but the food was great. Probably putting in the regular rotation for lunch.“

“Food quality is superb, service a bit slow only because of time I was there, the staff was having their meal so other servers were picking up the slack, got there after 2 pm which is late but not as busy, because they usually stop serving Dim Sum after 3pm, excellent food but some items a bit differently made that other establishments.“
