As positive I like to be, it was bothersome to see our waiter (same young lady) both times with a less than warm attitude, or she felt stretched thin. To me, I’ll go back for a great meal, yet, if service made us feel “unwelcome” or “unenthusiastic “ as another reviewer noted, this most likely be the last visit.“

“One of my favorite lunch spots. Ordering online is super convenient for my lunch break. The falafel plate at AL is probably my favorite in the city. It comes with everything I love and nothing I don’t. I eat at AL Quick Stop at least 3 times a month and it never disappoints me. It hits the spot every time.“

“Inside is very plain and uninviting. Outdoor patio was nice. Music was loud and in general not good. Need Mediterranean music. Friendly and helpful server. Lots of variety on the menu. “My first time at this place, came to visit from the valley and the reason that made me come is all these great reviews that I read. They had a full house with a huge buffet for Ramadan with almost every Mediterranean dish you can think of. The food was the best Mediterranean I ever had, the atmosphere was amazing, the service was superb, the decor was beautiful. “This restaurant is amazing. I really enjoyed my food. I ordered the half grain and half greens bowl with braised lamb and falafel. The breeze lamb was juicy and delicious and the falafel was awesome. The cucumber mint lemonade is to die for. This place based on food would be a 10 out of 10, but because the service was not great I had to takeoff a star. I would recommend knowing what you want before you come here because the staff was a little impatient with me asking a couple of questions (I have allergies so I have to ask).“

I also had the lentil soup as an appetizer and that was amazing as well. And you can’t come here without trying the baklava! Service was great and so was the environment. “Finally was able to try Big Bite and so glad I did. I ordered the chicken shawarma wrap and a gyro. Both were very good with lots of meat and the classic flavors you are looking for. Meat was tender, juicy and not over salted. Sauces were all great and the chili sauce had a nice little kick.Luckily, the owner showed up while I was there because he told me that the ‘over rice’ things are what they are know for. He hooked me up with a sample that blew me away with that flavor packed rice. That is the way to go. Excellent!! You don’t have to be out at the bars to stop by and grab some grub. So make a stop!“

“It matters to me, how employees are treated by their management. Where I spend my money matters especially now. An employee was serving a client ahead of me in a To-go platter. As he serves the gentleman. A man, about 5’10, black curly hair, in a fitted well ironed stripped long sleeve button up with black slacks came around to “help” as I assumed. But instead he grabs the platter out of the employees hand as he towers over him, looks him up and down, SCOFFS, and his facial expression didn’t match the situation, it was discuss and distain. Mind you, it was about tabouli being put in a place in the To-Go box. This happened in front of me, and in front of another client. He says nothing to the employee but an eye roll. And proceeds to serve the other client. Why does it matter? Why do I care? I have worked in the food industry my whole life, and just like that man treated the employee I too was treated in such ways. If you don’t understand, I’m sorry you have lived a life of convenience and haven’t had to experience being mistreated. The food is excellent the, the place is clean. The only thing that is lacking, is their humanity. Do better. Be kinder.“
